This is the best video 100T has ever put out with pros. Also having pros from different teams is cool I don't watch these games but it definitely gives a better sense of the org as a whole.
Kinda neat that the FPS gamers think League is the hardest to learn and then scale up the tiers, whereas the League team thinks the mechanics, presumably flick aim & movement, of first person shooters are more difficult to learn.
Would it be possible for the teams to play each other in the game their pro in and the overs verses and make a tournament out of it to see what teams the "best" in 100T??? Just a suggestion thats all
Peak tier gaming content right there, the decision to include all the different pros rather then one singular game added variety of opinions which was neccessary.
The every game should have an easy mode question is so interesting from the perspective of someone who wasnt allowed to play games when growing up. All these pros have had consistent time to improve, i dont know why they would choose to lock players out of experiences they could have just because they’re poor at the game, just bc there’s an easy mode doesnt mean they have to play it - it just means the game is more accessible to a wider variety of people
Agree with this. Also the other question about the mature rating. If you are letting a 6/7 yr old play a 12+ obviously you would want an easy mode, so they can have fun. If they get mad for not progressing because of the difficulty, then this could help them progress.
Ye it was a dog ass take from people who are good at games. My father enjoys gaming, (and not very good, bless him though for he tries) I can't for the life of me see him enjoying dark souls unless it has an easy mode.
The last one was targeted towards courage. Remember he got boosted to apex predator in apex and he was talking shit to everyone on Twitter on how ez it was. Dude got boosted hard af. I still remember the streams
Just because it's electronic, doesnt mean it shouldnt be considered athletic. Some sports are more endurance or strength based, other sports are team based, strategic or require hand eye coordination. You'd never deny archery, dart, auto racing or shooting as sports. Esports fits in the same category. Also, we don't just play tge gaames with our minds. If esports were not physical, there wouldn't be pros retiring due to carpal tunnel.
Would love to see more of this! This is the teacher in me but I wish everyone got to speak at least once or rotate through the different teams for each question.
I really wanted them to advocate for chess and how the GMs and super GMs are athletes for how intensive they’re thinking and performing, which is what these guys do
@gerardodiaz6260 Chess players are not athletes... get real. They're brilliant, but so is Steven Hawking, and no one in their right mind would consider him an athlete. Video gamers are somewhat athletic in their need for dexterity on MnK or 'roller.
I didn’t touch a video game until 14/15.. I grew up playing 4 sports a year and in high school dedicated myself to one. Won a state Championship in Wrestling in Iowa Senior year. My friends I met freshman year got me into Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. So when MW3 came out I was wrestling while also maintaining top 300 spot in the overall leaderboards in Modern Warfare 3 back in 2011/2012/2013..
I am now figuring out most people don’t understand what prosecutable means lol. There are people that are prosecuted and don’t go to jail all the time. It just means you’re tried. Which still should just be a lifetime ban from MP games but not an actual trial tbh.
one thing, that dude said cheaters in mma doesn't go to jail, yeah, they get banned for couple months to one year, pay a fine and he is back to punching people in the face, which is ridiculous and you should go to jail for steroid use in combat sports
Going to jail for cheating ina video game is absolutely insane take. Now for a $1m tourney I can understand a court appearance. But that's just insane. But what the 1 dude said about ID and getting banned on every game that developers makes 100% agree
I've been gaming all my old life. And gaming pro yes. But not a athlete. I played 4 sports and all the works in the gym and on the field is way different.
Very cool discussion. Very interesting takes. I really like the arguments about M games with kids. Especially the neutral guy. He said he likes putting motorcycles in his GTA garage as a kid 🤣
Bro, every game should have an easy mode, but ofc it's not for pros. Easy mode should be designed for beginners to attract new players. Having an easy mode doesn't mean the normal/hard difficulty got removed, everyone can choose the difficulty they want. No one is forcing you guys to play easy mode, why most of you guys disagree on that?
Getting into an NBA team 15 players per team and if you dont make it theres the Gleague where you still a pro and make money getting into an NFL team 48 players per team + practice squad and if you dont make it theres other leagues where you still a pro and make money getting into a Videogame team 5-6 players per team and if you dont make it theres nothing for you DEF is harder to be a pro player than an athlete
IMO anyone can go professional in a game all it takes is time and learning, while in NBA someone like me whose only 5'8 and chubby will never get into a team despite being able to shoot 3's like curry one 6'3 guy whose physically fit just needs to stand by me to keep me from doing anything, however me and other fat asses can go pro with lots of practice and skill.
@@hunterhottman4905 thats 11 games with big scenes and 10 more with not so big scene also some of this are not team rosters some are just 1-2 players that play that game like fighting games

You can be athletic and not play any sports. An athlete is someone who is skilled in a sport, to be athletic is to be fit, dexterity, can move easily, can continuously do. They are 2 different things. Though they can go hand in hand a lot of the way, they are 2 different things, describing 2 different data sets even though they can overlap.
Tbh, when you're 14, you don't really have rights. You live with your parents, and you do what you're told. Most of the time, they know better than you, I'm not saying don't explain why you can't, I hated that growing up the whole because I said so bs, so I would explain why they aren't aloud to play
Fortnite doesnt have a pro scene. It's just open tourneys. Rocket league is mechanically hard but that's all u gotta learn is mechanics and be good. Don't have to worry about anything else. League u have to learn mechanics and micro, macro, and a bunch of other shit. On top have to learn matchups and pkay every character to see wtf they do. League is a fucking grind to get good at
any game/league with a franchise is ultimately going to be the hardest game to be a pro in. Unlike apex and fortnite where there's open tourneys, you can "technically" say you're a pro when you join those open tourneys, like you said.
@@mohchie754There’s a pro league for Apex? The only open tournament apex had this year was BLGS and finals was comprised of pro teams and several challenger teams
