Some may find it weird, but I found this way funnier and charming than the actual SNL series. Just seeing Mr. Bill get mercilessly crushed just came off as cruel and unfunny to me, but seeing Mr. Bill being relentlessly optimistic despite that beating is a lot funnier and heartwarming.
HAHA Still gets me every time. Me and my friends use to get hammered and yell OOOHHH NOOO and just launch our bodies down the stairs and shit. Oh man good times.
I loved this comercial from the 90's he he I also remember the reruns of sat night live on nick at night years ago, and seeing mister bill, poor guy always got mangled up even though he did nothing bad.
I saw this just a few minutes ago and was like, "Omg, it's Mr. Bill!" My dad has a really old video of the Mr. Bill classics back from the old school SNL. When I was little, I always watched that tape :)
"Your Personal Trainer says to step it up a notch" as Mr. Hands cranks the tradmill completely to the red.... Love that moment. Brilliant commercial. Second only to American Express using Spinal Tap's "Gimme Some Money".
OH NOOOOOOOOOO! WHYYYYYYYYYY! I love it so much whenever he says why. He doesnt do it often in his videos. Maybe only about once or twice. But it is so much funnier than the oh no! lol
He reminds me of a similar thing they did on pizza hut commercials in the'90s. Anyone else remember these? I remember they had a meteor fall on him and he was arrested for disturbing the peace. And his nemesis was a pizza cutter!
sowisapigtobeexact2 Mr. Bill is played by Walter Williams (who also created the character), while Mr. Hands is voiced by Vance DeGeneres (Ellen DeGeneres' older brother)
This is the commercial that made me a big Mr. Bill fan!
Me too!
