Some of Spencer and Sam's interactions can mostly be a gold mine if entertainment. I think because Freddie is so intelligent, Sam mocks him for it and picks on him. However, when it comes to Spencer, someone who is possibly much less intelligent than Freddie, Sam almost always catches him a break because of that fact. (plus it's Carly's brother, wouldn't be cool if Sam picked on the brother of her best friend.)
