Why do modern smartphones have batteries that can't be replaced by the owner ? the older phones you could easily change the battery in a minute. Is it sharp practice by manufacturers ?
You remove the Antenna PCBA at about 420. What exactly does this antenna do is it super important tp being able to get reception because mine broke where it connects to the main board and is not functional now. Not sure if this is reason i sometimes get vreaking up on calls or not and sometimes signal goes away for a min or so but i usually run just 4G LTE network.
The display is glued in place like the back plate. To get there, you need to remove all the parts from the frame as shown (no need to remove all the small side button things. Also the battery tape can be sliced and does not have to be removed completely). To remove the display, i heated it like the back plate and pushed through one of the holes from inside with a screwdriver. It cracked even more, but i was able to remove it. Afterwards, glass shards need to be scratched from the frame before installing a new one.
As above. also put the sticker strips on screen along edges before seating into frame. ensure the two ribbons are fed through the frame before pressing together. Take your time!
Disassembly is great but I wonder how am I going to source for replacement parts. hmd/Nokia smartphone spare parts are hard to find after they broke up with Foxconn
which part of this shows removal of the microphone and which board is the microphone on? Seems like everything else is removed but never anywhere microphone in the captions
