    I love everything in your videos; from your walks with the dogs, scenery, and your variety of crafts. Little Bella is so cute, I am glad you included her. I also enjoy a lot of different hobbies; crochet, embroidery, needle felting and basket weaving.

    As always I loved your video. I think every crafter I know does multiple crafts. For me it is needle felting, spinning knitting and crochet. They all help keep me happy and sane!! I love seeing what others are doing, Thank you for showing us some of the other things you do. And I love seeing the dogs!

    What a busy and productive day! Lovely to see Bella and what you've been up to. Your temperature blanket is very neat. I like the idea of doing one but not sure I could keep going for a whole year! Your wool dying turned out lovely. Beautiful colours ❤

      Yes, the temperature blanket is a thing, I have just caught up again but it can get left behind, the idea of a temperature scarf was much better! I am dyeing some more wool next week inspired by my dogs! Have to make sure I can use it all up though, take care Nicola xx

      Thank you, yes, Bella is all good just she went out with my husband and he threw the ball for her, the Dachshunds steal it otherwise!). I am enjoying the dyeing and that was such a vibrant colour, looked lovely in the sun, thanks for watching and really pleased you enjoyed it xx

    I must have a go a punch needling looks so fun. I still want to try dying wool too. Your temp blanket looks great. The lord of the rings Lego was very cool. Hope your son had a lovely birthday.

      Yes, I forgot to add that my son is 19 and he still loves Lego! Punch needling is very interesting, just buy a kit that has everything you need so you know the tool will work with the linen and the wool, thanks for watching xx

      It's definitely a fun craft to try, I have to buy some thinner wools as they keep getting caught in the punch needle so off to the wool shop later!! Thanks for watching xx

    You do everything so well. The afghan is beautiful and well done. The skein is wonderful. I had never seen dying done that way. When I belonged to my local fiber artists guild, we did our dying in a large pot on the stove. The method you use allows more control and less messy. I have always wanted to try punch hooking. I have a kit somewhere. I did do a bit of rug hooking and enjoyed that. Love the pattern you did. Did you design it? Another great video. Thank you.

      Hi, yes, the tray does help you see the colours that are taking and what isn't, I still get my dyeing wrong but it's fun to try it. The pattern is made up, I just traced a rough photo and used that, quite easy but you need to keep it simple that all. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching xx

    Thankyou for another lovely video,I’m trying to learn how to crochet and knit at the moment,I want to make clothes for my felties,I’m also wanting to crochet blankets,you said your blanket was one stitch only,would you mind if I asked which one? Are there any tutorials you’d recommend? Your home and where you live are just beautiful,love watching your videos x🩷

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  Місяць тому

      You’re welcome 😊 So the blanket is from Cameron's Cute Creations and it is just a single crochet stitch, I know that US and UK terms are different but search on her channel and she will show you what to do, it's very relaxing as it is so straight forward but also hard to keep up with everyday. I am just on catch up but getting there, thanks for watching and enjoying the video xx

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  Місяць тому

      Yes I do! Probably too much (as I have lots to do for needle felting first really!). I am doing another dye next week hopefully, inspired by my dogs! xx

    I just love your temperature blanket, Pippa! I’ve never crocheted before…is it truly a beginner project? Can you recommend where/how to get started?

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  Місяць тому

      Yes, it is! Go to Cameron's Cute Creations, search temperature blanket, however I think I did a simple single crochet stitch, maybe it's called a double crochet stitch, I haven't learnt all the terms yet but choose a stitch and just repeat it, very easy but just a bit time consuming. A temperature scarf is an easier option xx
