As a single mom I understand the loneliness feeling. Even though I’m grateful for time to do work and have no interruptions, it is the adult conversations and company that I miss. I love your videos, always excited when one pops up. I always learn something.
Watching all the way from Scotland. I'm a reseller too. It really helps me watching other resellers. I don't feel so alone. Thanks for taking us along.
Went on a 2 day thrifting trip with a friend this weekend and scored a Remington Wet2Straight Flat Iron that I would have never looked at if I hadn't seen it on your channel! Thanks for sharing your BOLOs with us.
I sold some Harley women’s chaps myself. It took about 5 minutes to find a very similar style on the Harley website. From there I priced them for 120, sold for 100.
My husband and I were in the Columbus area last weekend from Indy. We went to a couple goodwills and some Ohio Thrift Stores. I got some good stuff! We stayed in Dublin and went to the Sawmill Rd one but it was close to closing time. Ohio has some good thrifting!
at 9:02 there is s Half Magic audio book or vhs... look that up! I once sold the full book set of that for like 70 bucks on eBay. I had never heard of the book before but I'm pretty sure its a BOLO.
Pickle ball is certainly gaining in popularity here in PA. Thanks for sharing where you’re at. You do have us viewers here that enjoy the content and want nothing but the best for you and your girls. ❤
* Pickle Ball is National ~ (here in Minnesota.. Tiny Pieces ~ Sell them individually. Get yourself one of those pocket Jewelry hangers ~ Number the pockets on each side. People fill their sets. AND ~ you can sell weapons, clothing, &/orArmor to fill other people's collections for Good money.. ($5. to $50. per tiny piece & no wasted space in your inventory..
Dad planet certainly is another planet among the others. Your inventory is totally differently than what is found here in the desert of SoCal. Here more golf naturally but the bigger value items are maybe art, Murano glass and such and maybe formal men’s footwear. Really like seeing what you source and your boldness in pricing. When you have private time, handwritten cards or notes is a good opportunity to correspond with friends or family. Occupies and really fills up that time. Plus you’re gonna get something back in a few weeks.
I was there Sat afternoon & saw the Dogbuddy on the cart but no trucks! Nice find. They had the 99c blue & yellow clothes but only found 2 things so I headed across town to Hamilton & found 10 pieces including a Nike dri-fit golf. There are a lot of items it’s hard to pickup at $4.50 Also found men’s Nike Air Max Oketo & Brooks Launch GTS 8. I’m learning more on sourcing shoes watching you so thanks! 😅
When I’m feeling that way, it’s to the store I go!!! Funny you mention pickleball, I picked up a pickleball bag just yesterday. Not big money, but had me thinking the same question. Because it seems to be a trend. 😊
I live in Central Florida and we are forming a Major League Pickleball team, the Orlando Squeeze. It's definitely a thing! Thanks for all the vids and good luck out there!
Man your a professional for sure, I can't imagine knowing what's hot in brands and such, I'm a newbie, just on mercari for now starting very slowly, I go to thrift or goodwill and get intimidated as I don't know what a good deal is yet lol! But these videos give me hope! Thanks for sharing.
You got this. You're really only new once. Then, it starts to click little by little. Just stick with it, fail forward, and keep learning by doing. You'll look back a year from now and say 'man, I've come along way'. We all crawl before we walk.
They all have their golden moments so I can't say I have a favorite. I suppose it depends on which staff members are working whatever stores I am in. A pleasant staff really makes a huge difference
I'm sorry I missed why you are lonely ? I hope everything is ok with the girls ? Love your videos . Never heard of some of the shoes or bags but will be on the lookout for them for sure !!!
I love being part of the Dad family. I'm a 69yo gran and if I lived close to you I would bring you a cake and have coffee a d cake with you. It's nice that you remember we're out here when you feel lonely.
Hey Dad Planet! I always watch your videos so I have a question for you if you’d be willing to offer some advice? My family recently expanded our thrifting reselling into buying storage sheds. In a Storage shed we found A LOT of vintage, valuable, “adult” books. We know about EBay’s terms but tried to sneak past and of course our listing got deleted. What would you do? We don’t want to get our account suspended! Should we just throw away the books and forget about it? Or is there some way to make a sale here?
Thank you for watching. I highly suggest you follow the rules eBay has set forth for the privilege of using their platform to sell items. Don't try to circumvent the rules in any way. There are lots of other options for selling adult related items and a little research will go a long way. If you want to continue to sell on eBay, follow the rules. I wish you continued success.
on my hubs account - hello brendon don’t forget I think Courtney sells just the Lego manuals too I’m pretty sure hope your feeling much happier after a goodwill run 😃
I understand the loneliness feeling. I was thinking of forming a local Thrifting Group that would meet once a month at our local Rec Center and advertise via Nextdoor that this would be an informal, fun, social group where fellow thrifters could gather once a month to share info and hints. Also they could bring a thrifted item to each meeting to show everyone what they found. I think there are enough thrifters around to make this a successful event. This way, we could make friends and not feel so alone. Thoughts?
I leave it. The ones I picked up were written on tape so I peeled it away but unless the tape is factory sealed or highly collectible it shouldn't have an affect on sales (in my experience).
Hi Brendon - do you store your inventory in your home ? I know you are busy but is there anyway sometime you could do a video on your ebay system ? ie list, store and ship ? thanks in advance. If you already have done a video like this before ?
Yes and from time to time people ask to see my storage set up to which I always say - maybe in the future. It's organized chaos in my basement because of an area of wholesale inventory that hasn't been tended to in a few months. It's my dumping grounds for sourcing right when I arrive home too. So if I get the urge to spruce it up at some point, I'll take everyone down there.
Maybe some things are more popular in different parts of the country but I'm in Dallas Texas and I've NEVER found Patagonia in the wild. This is a town that went in big for North Face
I know the loneliness. But unless I can find someone to share my love of flipping, I'm just going to stay alone. I've already endured the "you shop too much" you should just get a "real job" diatribe. I've had many jobs. I now love what I do.
@Dad Planet You can't get any more enjoyment than going out, spending $20 on a bunch of stuff and listing just 1 of those items for $125. I'm not sure if I enjoy the hunt more or hearing the cha ching more.
How weird.. I’m feeling this same loneliness today and this video was the first on my recommended to watch. Nice to know I’m not alone, and now I’m feeling much better.
I appreciate how you take us along with you and not just show items later. For us older folks it gives us a window to the world, bless you.
I'm very happy to have you along for the ride :)
Amen! eBay is my retirement job. I appreciate you so much Brendan! Thanks!!!
Awwwww, just remember you are doing this for both your daughters future’s. You are a great Dad. 👍👍👍

When I feel lonesome, it’s true, going to store helps, just to be around other people and listen to the music.
We’re here for you - and you’re here for us! 🇨🇦
Absolutely true!!
Also from Canada! Love going thrifting with you. I just wish we had a Goodwill in Nova Scotia
@@dawngrant6447 Hey, I'm in NS too! I really wish we had Goodwill stores, prices are getting out of hand at the thrift stores here.

Great video as always! Pickle ball is a national thing right now. Awesome find.
Nice find on the Harley chaps! Those are beautiful! Love your finds!

My mom is wanting to play it and some family friends started playing it. Cool set
Pickle ball is EVERYWHERE here in Orlando! Always great finds and I always learn something new.

Seriously. This community makes it so easy to overcome challenges. So much love to all of you.
Love the Elmo says Boo VHS. It has my favorite sesame street song,Batty Bat , sung by the Count!
Pickle ball is a popular sport right now here in the Houston area. Great find!

The chaps are an awesome score. Look to be ladies.
Pickle all is very popular in SC, especially with the senior population.
People play pickleball in our basement at work during their break. Right below me! SE Michigan here. And we have courts in our parks.
That sounds like the work break that dreams are made of. What an excellent way to recharge the battery

It's legit! Major league pickleball sounds pretty exciting
In sw Ohio pickle ball is very popular. My sams club already sells a knock off of the Bogg bag, but its still $60 for the large one.
Thanks for the video :) Love watching all your great finds. Pickle Ball is HUGE is Florida.
It must be a national thing - I had no idea the extent of the growth!!

I find so many vapor maxes with the bubbles popped. makes me so sad lol
Do you get your Nike shoes authenticated? When should you do that… or does eBay automatically verify that they are authentic?
eBay will take care of the authentication process.
The Barney VHS sell high and extremely well!
That place really needs to work on its bag section looks like the bins :)
On this episode of hoarders.....
Thank you for sharing what you sell for. Also where do you resell?
Definitely feel the work from home loneliness. Great video! Do you have a favorite Goodwill retail store in the area? (Besides the Bins)
They all have their golden moments so I can't say I have a favorite. I suppose it depends on which staff members are working whatever stores I am in. A pleasant staff really makes a huge difference
I think the Harley chaps are for both men and women
I like watching you most guys and ladies out shopping won’t even look at women stuff . 😊
I’ve found a pair of those Nike’s for me in a black & pink
Amazing!
San Antonio area loves Pickleball

Big pickleball KS & MO.
I have started thrifting
I am wondering how much shipping is or how you deal with this?
Are you afraid that the VHS tapes won't work? I have some but i can't test them. Do you just put "not tested"? Same with DVDs. Thank you.

In Swedish "Thule" is pronounced "Too Lee"
