You are right, Exynos is a little behind when compared to SD counterpart but in real life usuage, don't really matter much. Also, I've used both OnePlus and Samsung phones in the past and one thing I can say for sure is there is a difference in the quality of product. OnePlus is cheaper for a reason. Agree with all of you on this. To be honest - My S20 exynos does heat up and in general, does have an inferior performance (in terms of battery specifically) compared to the snapdragon variant. I find the heating annoying especially when a smartphone costs as much as the S20 does. The OP8Pro is a great phone too. It is definitely flagship level and can compete head on with the S20. However, I find it ergononomically a bit challenging. It's bigger/wider and gives my hand a bit of chronic issue. The S20 has a premium feel to it which is tough to beat. So if heating doesn't bother you, go for the S20. Performance and battery wise - OP8Pro leads. Choice is yours now.

Note10+ only annoying issue for my as owner is this curved screen ,which cousing reflex in the sun and those curved edges are darker on white pictures.
Note 10+ got 12GB LPDDR4X RAM vs S20's LPDDR5 8GB RAM. That's why in rough comparison the Note can compete, but imagine if the amount of RAM is the same at 8GB, the S20 will smoke ths Note..
How about you imagine DDR5 being in the Note instead? Yeah exactly! Imagination doesn't work here. Both phones are great but the S20 is not worth the hype unlike the S10. The 100x zoom gimmick on the Ultra apparantly is usless.

I bought the note 10+ brand new for 72,000 BDT ($853.31) and it is the snapdragon 855 variant. Trust me if u r in a exynos region and u r considering processor upgrade as major point to update to galaxy s20 line up, just don't do it, bcz exynos 990 is inferior even to the last years sd855 chip. There's a lot backlash in many article regarding it. U can now get note 10+ for cheaper. Buy the snapdragon variant and buy it from the grey market or import one. U won't get the standard warranty though as samsung doesn't provide international warranty like apple.

Hello s20 users, any comments concerning the battery life on the s20 (Exynos/Snapdragon version) I'm still hesitating to buy it . I really like the size of the regular s20.. Thanks for your feedbacks! Great video btw ;)
I have the regular S20 (exynos) since a few days ago, and, as Bixby should adjust to your behaviour, I feel like the battery should too, because 4000 mah is still a lot. Right now my battery life is a disaster, but I believe that it should get better with time
@@annelijndegier592 Thanks. I'm gonna wait to buy it anyway bc of the lockdown. And maybe Samsung will work on a software update to make things better.
In the Netherlands the price actually dropped tremendously because of the virus, so I profited off of that. I got mine for only 750 euros (900 was the adviced price)
An unnecessary function that consumes the battery more than regular 60hz panel. 120hz for what? Regular browsing, sliding pages..? I see this only for "phone" gamers. For me its pointlessness .
I thought about getting the note 10 or note 20 but tbh I'm never gonna use that s pen it will just be good to have it but I would never use it so I'mma go with the s20+ upgrading from a s9+

Hello from India. I liked your content and it's amazing to see how much effort you put in to achieve this kind of perfection. The amount of details is actually more than the likes of MKBHD. 👍 I want an advice from you. I am upgrading from Samsung Note 9 (Exynos) . My options are S10+, S20+, Note 10+ and the Oneplus 8 Pro. My priorities are excellent call quality via earpiece and speaker phone, excellent audio quality, excellent battery life and smooth overall performance. For me the basics of communication like Signal and WIFI reception and calling experience matter a lot. Which one should I go for?
First of all, thank you so much for your kind words. To be honest, none of these phones are any better or worse when it comes to basic call functionalities. They differ mostly on additional features like camera, build, design, display and so on. But if battery life is important, would say go for OP 8Pro. In India you get the exynos versions of the phones, and OP8Pro would have the snapdragon which is more battery efficient. It's also much smoother from a performance standpoint - no doubt. I use S20+ and Note10+ as my daily drivers - but I'm still voucing for OP8Pro considering your requirement.
As a curved screen lover, the Note 10 series have better curved edges compared to S20 series, i think samsung is going to ditch curved displays slowly... I've Note 10 and loved it..
Yeah, I'm from Europe and we also get the Exynos chip in Samsung phones, and up until last year...it didn't really matter, in some respects Exynos used to be even better. However, starting with last year, it all changed and this year the Snapdragon 865 is better hands down. Therefore, even tho I've been thinking about upgrading to S20 from S9...I'm not gonna do it. I'm switching to OnePlus 8 pro, which has the 865 Snapdragon, it's finally IP68 certified, it finally has wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, plus it has 120hz refresh rate without having to downgrade the screen resolution to 1080p. Basically, the only thing better on Samsung, is camera. And even in that respect the difference isn't as significant as it used to be, since OnePlus upgraded its camera as well. Finally - the price. You get all of those flagship specs, with the best chipset currently in the game, for $900 with a 128gb/8gb combo and for $1000 you get a 256gb drive and 12 gb of RAM. There's no way I'm giving more money for a worse phone with the crappy Exynos chip.

@@PRINCERAJ-pb1wz Don't have heating issue on my S20 Ultra and I play a lot of games on it. Yes, battery performance can be better.
0:01 Using MKBHD line, haha
Hahaha! It's a pretty common line.. except he uses a phone for about 2 weeks before it launches 😆
Am using lawnchair and it is draining my battery very much any suggestion???
That shouldn't be happening at all. Can you go into your battery usage and see wht's causing the drain?
@@mobiscrub yes, i reinstalled today and used for 30 mins i could see lawnchair is in top with active usage of 30m and total time 1h in battery usage section. So overall battery usage of 5.8%. So can i stick with one ui again? Thanks mate for replying 🔙
Yeah.. Just remove lawnchair. I use nova personally
Note10+ only annoying issue for my as owner is this curved screen ,which cousing reflex in the sun and those curved edges are darker on white pictures.
Had an xs max but getting a note 10 plus for today as my second phone because I can do more on the android side ur literally a boss with the note
Just want that big screen for movies an use the pen i prefer the s pen an love the design on it
Note 10+ got 12GB LPDDR4X RAM vs S20's LPDDR5 8GB RAM.
I use honor 7x.. A midranger 0f 180 dollars...&planning to upgrade to a new after 3+yrs..if i buy a flagship, i ll cont it for more than 5 yrs as it will not let me down before that...so note 10+ to s20+ doesnt really makes sense nor note 20+...its jst ur pleasure to have the latest... 3 yrs is the opimal time for a flagship if u really want to upgrade
Rocking s10 plus. I don't think it's worth the upgrade to the s20 series. You can keep a phone now for 2 years and it's not a problem at all. Just my opinion.
Agree with you 100%
Why in India Note10+ is expensive then S20+?
It's a matter of economics.

From last 3 years I am keep switching mobiles within 2-3 months but from Last 6 months I am using Note 10+ and still dont want to switch bcz its so good and perfect smartphone
you, sir, are extremely privileged 😂
@@kevinchong1538 not privilege as such. I just love mobile technology that is why I spend my savings on mobiles most of the time.
Hello s20 users, any comments concerning the battery life on the s20 (Exynos/Snapdragon version) I'm still hesitating to buy it
. I really like the size of the regular s20..
Thanks for your feedbacks!
Great video btw ;)
I have the regular S20 (exynos) since a few days ago, and, as Bixby should adjust to your behaviour, I feel like the battery should too, because 4000 mah is still a lot. Right now my battery life is a disaster, but I believe that it should get better with time
With the rest of the phone I'm in love, especially with the pink colour and the camera quality
@@annelijndegier592 We could get it for 630 euros a few days ago in France. But the lockdown complicates a lot the delivery process
I love this video my friend..
60hz vs 120hz no diff? Really??? 🤣
An unnecessary function that consumes the battery more than regular 60hz panel. 120hz for what? Regular browsing, sliding pages..? I see this only for "phone" gamers. For me its pointlessness
.
Most people won't care or notice.
I thought about getting the note 10 or note 20 but tbh I'm never gonna use that s pen it will just be good to have it but I would never use it so I'mma go with the s20+ upgrading from a s9+
Okay yes but..........which one's cheaper
Love ur review
Love my Note 10plus 5g and my Note 10plus and I also love my S20 plus ➕ as well ❤. Love all three of my phones. My phones are using the Qualcomm 685 chips i believe.
This feels good to watch on my note10+ but the prospect of a Note20+ makes me want to cry
haha...its alright. I don't think it would be too far off from the Note10+ either Kevin. It's all relative...grass is always greener on the other side.
@@mobiscrub 😢 You're probably right my brother...
Good stuff on your channel!
I see what you did there 0:57 Brilliant LOL 😅
What did he do?
@@mobiscrub thank you so much for your prompt reply. I think it would be best to wait for your Oneplus 8 Pro review before making a decision :)
Get you hands on OP8 asap and do a comparison with S20
With the lockdown, very tough.
@@mobiscrub people forget about that
The ultra is the competition of the note 10 + not the regular 20 🤔😅
Depends on what is the basis for comparison.
Is it size? or price?
@@mobiscrub both I guess jaja I have the note 10 plus and I love it! But some times I get caught thinking about the ultra. 😅
Will hold Note 10+ for a while
I refused the offer to upgrade to s20ultra from the note 10+. I'm enjoying my phone.
As a curved screen lover, the Note 10 series have better curved edges compared to S20 series, i think samsung is going to ditch curved displays slowly... I've Note 10 and loved it..
Still got my n9
09/05/020,on my SGN.8 6RAM/256GB
You can just import a Snapdragon. Bought a S20 US version for 700€, best deal. Has all features of OP8 pro and more fir 300€ less
note 20 it will be worth it 👍
Im hoping and waiting to see what it has
Not worth the upgrade if you've already got the Note 10+. Absolutely ridiculous that the S20 line costs more than the Note line🙄
You can get 120 refresh on the note 10 plus now
How can I get it please? earnest jones
