  • In the 1950s, The Director of the South African Church Institute in London persuaded Rector Snell to commission the Hungarian-born artist Ervin Bossanyi to make eight windows for the Michaelhouse Chapel which was being enlarged.
Little wonder that when these works of art were put on show in London before being shipped to South Africa, Bossanyi was asked to create a replica of the central panel of the 'Rose Window' for permanent display in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The rose window was painted with the head of Christ, his hands raised in blessing and holding two birds, one black and one white.
This was to symbolise the joining of the two racial groups in South Africa.

How about adding a few words to these videos as a sort of subtitle telling us the name of the person we are watching & listening to and what his association with school is?
