Heck Ben, by the way that little Polaris attacked the snow you might want a couple more to make quick work of the places just like the Post Office. Perfect machine for doing that. As far as scraper wearing out on the blade, you can always weld on another piece of flat strap as they wear out. Cheap fix. I would add a good little sound system and rock out while pushing the white stuff around. Way more fun.
Awesome! As long as you get a nice curl of snow, loading up your blade and the weight coming off in a windrow... That little machine can probably clear 6 in off that parking lot.. I thought it was just going to make a big mushroom cloud😅

It crazy, you guys have next to no snow and davis, WV got slammed with a 2 foot snowfall. Garrett Co. MD has 18 inches and white out conditions. The ski slopes are loving it around my house. Hope it starts hammering the snow for you guys soon.

Sorry, delayed comment. When Owen said the rock wasn't there before, if that is a route on his sheet , in my brain it came to me it was put there. Sabotage? In happier thoughts.. Wow the Ranger is kickass! I'm thinking some of your viewers will be running to the Polaris dealer. I hope the post office manager is pleased. Cheeers! I can't even begin to plow my driveway without chains; way too steep and curvy. I'd love to have one of those Polaris' for lighter snow and as a backup.
I think you are having too much fun!!! It does get the job done and i think you are right that chains will make it even effective in moving the heavier loads.
Im really surprised you didn't put a boss v blade or western v on the polaris. The one thing you will find out quickly is the light duty blade cutting edge will wear out very quickly using it in a commercial environment. I have ysed the boss on an utv and it was quite impressive. Not cheap but very impressive.
After the rock was moved and the skidsteer reverse out I thought I saw quite a bit of oil/fluid on the ground. Is that a problem? Also under the larger loader.

@@hughstephenson2957 I thought of salt as Ben said they do put some salt down for some clients. Salt is the usual thing we use in the UK as salt works in our slightly below freezing temperatures. There are salt (Grit) bins of rocksalt alongside slopes here in winter. But yes, you would need sand at the low temperatures the US gets.

Polaris is wicked but it sounds like it needs some roller wheels to stop the blade digging in ore wearing too much.
I've had blade on a Honda 4 trax for years. It really does throw the snow the faster you go!

In New Hampshire we run ice screws in our side by side tires give them a try . Much smoother that chains

You can actually push a lot of snow with a side by side with speed there made to go through alot and be beat on trail riding and off-road
I still say sandbags in the back of that Polaris will make a lot of difference in the stability pushing snow
or bags of salt?

You need to put some red indicating polls on your ranger plow so you know where the tips of your blade is.
I have some just need to throw them on.
That ranger will be broke if you keep up with commercial plowing.

No. But they have them to be put on sometime. And for the smaller loader they just brought up from Bakersfield.
