Wow it must be a challenge to keep all of your equipment maintained and inventoried! I was looking at all of these vehicles and then you went to your holding area and ranch in another video! Also love how this turned into a cooking show 🙂
I’m looking forward to seeing your spring and summer videos. The more and more I watch your videos I keep coming up with the same question, is there anything you don’t know how to do?
Maintenance is the key to keeping these costly and complicated pieces of equipment running day after day. That is the enemy of these complex machines, maintenance. You don't want you machines breaking down on an important job. How do you get parts for those CAT machines in Mammoth Lakes. The local hardware store only has basic stuff. I bet the nearest CAT dealer is in Palmdale, Bakersfield, Reno, or LA? One small part and the machine is down. You can't move huge amounts of snow with shovels by hand. Doing maintenance out in a blizzard is no fun in the cold and wet. I remember changing a car tire in the winter snow. Doing other car maintenance in the winter snow, ice, and wet in temps under freezing is bad.
17:20 I'm sure ownership/management will appreciate the plug, because next time I'm in Mammoth Lakes (which should be within the next month or so) I'm definitely gonna do breakfast at The Warming Hut.
Knowing that the snow can get that deep every year it makes no sense to me that they build the houses so close together that it makes it so difficult to remove the snow.
This is like bailing out the Titanic with a Dixie up.What would happen to your shear bolt on your auger if someone say, threw an old crankshaft or cam shaft into the snow and your snow blower gobbled it up?????
Which State is this from ? Definitely a respectable amount of snow. I do not hear a New York accent so I'm going to guess Mammoth mountain in California maybe?
That belongs to snowcreek it’s used exclusively for that development when needed. It’s very old would need a lot of work to be traveling all over town.
One of the locals showed us an old train car out past Old Mammoth somewhere in May on sleds. 1992 or so. Should have went back in summer. Still alot of snow that year.
Your videos are helping me battle stage 3 cancer. Thanks

It doesn't matter if you put the meat on the top or bottom... It will work great
What kind of camera do you use????
Amazing that it holds up so well in the weather and very smooth! Looks great! Food looks bomb too!

Have you made Brunswick Stew? I learned about it on a work and witness trip.
Never heard of it I’ll have to check it out.
I have a question to ask how long does the snow take to melt
Waiting for Tri-tip stew update and merch drop..

Fugitive rocks and tree parts are enemies of snow throwers.

Correct
Just curious, there was a kodiac norland blower in your yard, why not use it?? Skid steers are "light duty", ask Cashmen.

@@plowbrothers365 I run one that is 40+ years old, runs like a champ, they are great machines.
19:51...have you explored any old mines? There are/were a few with rail cars and old cable operated dozers in them still WAY back.
Not yet would make a great vid though

11:00. I'm surprised a Grade 5 or less lasted that long.
Tell me about it! Funny thing is the stock G8 lost the threads
Milking it at "cruise 5", I'd expect it turned up to 11.
