Awesome tutorial and I love the donkey he's adorable! Just wanted to give you a little tip I saw awhile ago, you can use pipe cleaners for your armature, or if you don't find they're strong enough on their own you can just wrap them around your wire, it makes it a little easier to wrap the first layer of wool because it gives it something to grab onto. This tip really helped me because I kept getting frustrated with the wool slipping around the armature while I was trying to felt it. I have no idea if that's something you have trouble with but just thought I would share 😊
Hi ❤ this tip is wonderful, in my previous video (the cotton candy cat one) I once used pipe cleaners and it did work wonderful :)! I get used to work with this kind of wire so I probably get more comfortable with it. However, as you mentioned, not all feel the same way as I do. I will use more pipe cleaners in my next videos if it makes the wrapping easier. Thank you, love ❤

why dont you use a stronger wire for the armature?
I love this little chap so much! Please could you tell me how long the wire is after you have doubled it, both for the body and the legs? I am rubbish with proportion so a guideline would be very much appreciated! TIA

Hi ♡ it's optional. But, it's better using wire, it helps you to sculpt the wools better.
