Thank you for this video. I was wondering how to attach the can to the bucket. WARNING, for people reading this comment and thinking NOT to put any rocks etc in, I would highly recommend doing that. Birds can fall in and drown and other critters as well. This happened to me so that was a big lesson to never do that again. Also the rocks can become slimey and it would be hard for them to get a grip. Just do what you can to make sure they can get out. Thanks
U R so right‼️ I learned the hard way😢 Found a baby bunny drowned in a shallow small porcelain pail that I sunk in the ground 😢 I’ll never forget the sadness I felt & still feel.
I was surprised to find ALL the components and tools I need right here on the farm.🙂 thanx for the video.
I actually like the rusted look. Love this project ❤️ I want one 😊
Me too! I was going to say the same thing. I love the look of rust and patina. I have even made things look rusty on purpose.
Thank you great tutorial ✌🏼😊
You are the man, this system might be a nice addition to my trough’s as a self watering system. Thanks
Very nice! You're always providing us with splendid ideas! Thanks! 👍
LOVE it❤ Wish I had a handyman 😒
I want one!!!!!!😊
Just what I needed to know! I'm wanting a fountain / mini pond in my backyard, and I think this is just the ticket. Thanks so much for sharing, and I love that there are 3 iterations of this, depending on what one wants to do with it and how far someone might want to take it. :)
Wonderful idea 💡 thanks for sharing and have a great day and happy gardening 🌿🌱😊🤗
You rock. God bless y’all
Another useful project. Thanks Dan.
Your channel is very informative.
Great video!
The steep angle of the watering can will make sure the water lands in the container, especially when windy, but aesthetically it would look nicer with the watering can at a shallower angle so the water arcs out, rather than down... Would need to top up more frequently I Imagine?
Thanks for the great video...I love it. Too bad youtube doesn't have a way to show your projects completed by people like me to share variations on ideas.
I guess he'd have to gather them and show them. That would be refreshing to see.
Upload your own video and comment here that you've posted it :) that would work :)
Great idea. Thank you 😊
Thank you very much. Love this and can’t wait to give it my best shot!
