Loved this video so much, Jamie! It was so special to see last year’s album and all of those special memories. Thank you for this reminder to take the photos and documents these moments. ❤
Thank you kindly! The ombre paper is just terrific. Love how the green will go with Christmas so well. Can't wait to dive into pinks for Valentines Day! Thanks for everything!!!
This video perfectly exemplifies the importance of crafting/writing/sharing our stories. Thank you for being vulnerable, Jamie. Also, the tree is clever and pretty.
Oh Jamie, this is so lovely! I loved seeing the walk-thru of last year’s album too. Beautiful memories. This just verifies that this type of memory keeping is more than a hobby. It is an important part of ensuring family never forgets what is important in life. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Best take away of the day: 'This just verifies that this type of memory keeping is more than a hobby.' I LOVE that. And yes! ❤❤❤ Thank you so much, Martha!
Your December book from 2023 is one of my most favorite things that you have ever shared with us. I absolutely love it so much that I may have copied most of it for my December 2023 book. I agree so much with the "storytelling" aspect of this video. It's so important and needs to be done. The part of this video where you spoke about your Mom not being here this year really got to me. I feel for you. This will be my 2nd Christmas without my Mom and I totally understand how hard that is. It's just so hard. Praying for your peace and comfort at this time of year. These "emotional journies" are definitely hard, but so important to tell. This new album is going to be beautiful and I know will give your last years one a run for its money. So beautiful, Jamie. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us!!!
You bless me with your very kind words, Marcia. Thank you is not enough. It is also good we all have each other and this community to share. My hope is that we take those photos and write those stories which also is its own healing process. Thank you for watching. Hope you give it a go too.
Not reinventing the wheel SO resonates! I have looked over the past 9 years of December albums I have made to pick out some of my most favorite pages and use those as my jumping off points. I remember how hard it was to do my album the year Caleb died...but God's grace was apparent as I chose to use my making as a healing and to honor his legacy. I love this tree (and lucky me I already have this die!). Trees seem to be the them or icon most used in my current 2024 album thus far.
Not surprised you have the die. It is well loved around here. Am sure you do the same. And I can understand your sentiment. Although I just cannot even image losing a child. Bless you, Denise. As you continue to walk through your journey. Enjoy your book.
Love the 2023 album walk through! It just shows us how special all the photos we take are and capturing the moments of excitement and loved ones ❤ love the tutorials! A must try for this year along with others you have shared! 😍🥰
Thank you, Brandie! You got it! Yes. It's good to be reminded too how important these captures are. You just never know what life is going to bring you. Thank you for watching. Enjoy the making!!!
Thank you for sharing the heartfelt walk thru of your album. I think many of us can relate to similar emotions. I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. I miss my mama every day but it’s especially hard during the holidays. Thank you for the reminder of how important it is to document our lives and stories. It’s not always easy to take those photos but so very important. I love the branch tree and can’t wait to play. You are so inspiring, thank you for all you do and share with us. Happy Holidays to you and your family. ❤
Wow. Jennifer. Your remarks are certainly heartfelt. Thank you very kindly. I am touched. Thank you for stating that too: the importance of documenting our lives and stories. I completely agree.❤❤❤ Thank you so much for watching.
Hello friend, running behind here a bit….oh my, what a beautiful walk through of last year’s album. I remember so many fun videos of those makes! What a difference a year makes, huh? It’s been a rough one. I cry along with you, but am so very thankful we have those special memories❤️. The story of your daughter in culinary school is so inspiring. We never know what is ahead and how such a simple event can change our lives, wow! Congratulations to her and all the best in this new journey. Love the ombré tree, what a creative idea and make! This video touched my heart and reminds us how important it is to write it down!! You do it all so beautifully my friend!❤
Your words touch me deeply and thank you for sharing them. It's a bit vulnerable to put such emotions out there. But so many of us are going through this. I met last night in a rather large chapel full of family remembering their loved ones. Here's to writing down those stories and continuing to get better at it. And oh...by the way...there is no 'running behind' here. These videos are here for the long run. And when they fit in your life. Hope you can simply enjoy and create little bits of time here and there for the making too. But I know you know that. Have a lovely weekend, Robin.
@ good morning!🌄. I was just looking at your craft room organization as not only am I decorating, cleaning, shopping, getting ready to do cards, I thought I should reorganize the old craft room!🤦♀️😂. Why I try to do so many things at the same time, I have no idea!!🙆♀️. Yes, many of us are dealing with a lot, and the holidays are the worst sometimes😢. Good memories, friends and our faith, are the only things that can get us through these rough days. Reach out, cry, laugh, and document the feelings. Thanks for sharing all the things!🥰. Sending hugs
Your album from last year and the beginning of this year’s album is gorgeous! I love how you put layers together that give so much depth to your pieces. It’s an artform.
Thank you so much. Such high praise. And I agree...it is an art form. No matter how we go about these story tellings. Art form indeed. Thank you for watching!
So beautiful and dramatic. Such a fun project, and genius to use the ombre paper. Love it. Since I lost my mom, I wholeheartedly understand and relate to the emotions you're feeling - I'm sorry - you are in my prayers.❤
Thank you thank you for your kind words. I did not intend for that walk through to be a bit of an emotional ride. But this is true life. And it seems so many can relate to these emotions. Thank you for watching and always being so kind.
