💟Thank you so much for watching and for your support! I truly appreciate it! - Навчання та стиль
Ok. On the PT highlighters. Being mature you put the powder first then the cream . It melts the powder into skin. And it’s not a BAM in your face , it’s the dewy Mellow look which I think looks really pretty on the skin 😊.
Thanks for the tips!
Exactly, Patrick says himself this is the way to apply
The fact that Lisa Eldridge just came out with her balms and then Lancôme had a new balm was exactly why I was so interested in the new Lancôme! I’m SO glad I waited for your review to pick one up! I don’t like minty balms. They always dry my lips. Whew!! (Although menthol, fruity muffin smell is intriguing!😂)
I was also so interested in the Patrick Ta highlight duo. One reason I love the blush duos is that the cream isn’t sticky. I’m glad to know the highlight cream is really more of a balm. It’s a pass for me! That’s two products that would have been fails for me that you helped me avoid!! Thank you!!
I was also so interested in the RMS powder. Their powder products have all been hits for me. I’m glad it doesn’t have that wet feeling. I don’t like that. I’m going to give it a try!
I'm glad I could help Lisa. I think you will like the RMS powder. It's really nice!
I feel like Nars is making a comeback which I love. I grew up buying their products and they have always had good formulas but for a while they kept releasing the same products. I hope they keep it up. I’m going to buy 2 or 3 of these shadow sticks. Thanks for the great video!
I think so too! I hope you enjoy them!
Hi Lexi, thanks for your thoughts and assessments of the various products you purchased and reviewed for us. I can't quite get past the Patrick Ta highlighter which looks so pretty in the pan before use. The cream side looks far too emollient and that is evident in the dent it left in pan. Maybe this concept works in a professional photography session for high impact in short duration but it certainly wouldn't be for everyday long-term wear esp in summer...slip sliding away lol. 😅 I thought you might want more of those Lancome balms bc they're really pretty on you but when you described the scent which seems to change like my ever-changing moods I understand why you would be hesitant. Thanks for taking a couple for the team and I'm happy you didn't go all in with those two products. 👏❤️✨
Thank you! I'm sure some people might like the patrick ta but it is definitely not for me. The Lancome balms though are really pretty!
Thanks so much, Lexi! ❤
Your reviews really help. I'm probably going to give the PT highlighters a miss - I'm not big on highlighters in general, and definitely not ones that look like they'd melt (!!)
Wonder if Nars will come out with metallic/satin eyeshadow sticks. This one did look nice!
The Lancome balms looked really nice actually, better than the LE. Specially the colors you chose. Too bad bout the fragrance, I'll try one and see of it's wearable for me 😄
Looking very pretty! ❤
I really hope Nars puts out a shimmery cool taupe shadow. I really love the colors of the Lancome so please let me know if you try it and how the scent works for you.
EXTREMELY Helpful… Thank YOU Lexi‼️‼️👏👍😊
Thank you!
I'm dying over your earrings! Would love a link! Thank you for your great reviews, you are awesome!

The Lancôme lippies is a must for me. I like foodie smells.
Enjoy! I love the colors!
I want the Lancome balms. They looked nice.
The colors are really great and there are so many from which to choose.
The highlighter was a huge fail for me. Too glittery for my mature skin. Love the RMS powder on you. It looks good with a glow, but not too much. Excited for the Lancôme balms.😊
Thank you!
Thanks Lexi !! Beautiful look . ❤🤗
Thank you!!
I love the powder on you Lexi and I really like how you customized your own cushion with foundation you already have. I loved the color of the highlighting duo but not the glitter. Is it similar to the pink shade from KJH.brand? Love the lip balm shades you picked too! Thank you Lexi!! ❤
Thank you Yulia! It's a similar shade to the KJH but KJH is more shine.
I got my Patrick Ta highlighter in Daddy (rose gold) this week and I love it, so much so that I also ordered Baby (pink). I have been wearing it all today at a normal workday and it ha stayed well. I do the cream-on-top-of-powder after setting foundation and have no issues, but I do prep appropriately: I have oily skin and use the Shiseido Synchro skin primer and CT setting spray daily. I think they are a nice choice.
Thank you for sharing. Perhaps I need to play with it more.
So are you saying you put cle de peau liquid foundation in the cushion packaging? I also use both foundations in different formulas. I'm just curious. Thanks
Yes, exactly. You can also make your own cushion foundation by purchasing an empty cushion compact on amazon and adding liquid foundation.
I purchased the lightest shade of the Patrick Ta (My Love) and it’s so much prettier than the other shades he came out with.
It is. Powder then cream , it melts the powder into skin. It’s not that bright stripe everyone is used too. It’s mellow and dew. So pretty I think. I’m 63 and chefs kiss for me.
I should have gotten that one...
Hi Lexi, thank you for your video, you beautiful with your new make up. Very beautiful new cosmetics.
Thank you!
So Beautiful
Thank you
I was intrigued with the Nars primer , mist and eyeshadow stylos and almost bought them in the Nordstrom sale but i have been waiting for a review to see if they were anything special that eyeshadow stick looks nice and smooth on you and a good color. Idk what it was about the PT highlight but i was not excited and I definitely didn't jump on it i would have got the pink if any but kinda glad i didn't. I have seen people get theirs broken and melted as well then the Sugar shade has a batch that isnt good like its completely melted and thats instore but then other stores the the balm is solid not Vaseline like. Great review as always Lexi and i love how u do multiple products at one time.
Thank you Heather! The Nars sticks are definitely worth trying imo.
I purchased a few of the Patrick Ta cream/blush combinations but the colors aren’t my favs. I still prefer Westman Atelier cream blush best. I tried one of the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks but again, her colors aren’t my favs. This summer I’ve really been using the Guerlain Terracotta bronzer and blush daily - love them. Your skin looks beautiful today - and thanks for doing true closeups. We can really see how the products look on the skin. Thanks for this review!
Thank you Maureen! I'm glad you are loving the Guerlain!
I mix those two Cle de Peau foundations too! So happy I only picked up Baby in the Patrick Ta. I think the powder is very pretty on its own. Maybe try the balm on your lips? And you picked up the Lancôme colors I was interested in so this is so helpful!
I'm glad it was helpful! That's a good idea for the balm.
I was curious about the balms and the rms setting powder. The powder is on my list now. I think I’ll stick to other highlighter products. The NARS crayons look great. I might try one of the lip balms but I’ll test the scent first. Thank you for the warning. Thank you for your first rate advice ❤
The powder is very impressive! Thank you Catherine!
Great video Lexi. I’m looking forward to update on NARS primer, and RMS powder. I’m really looking forward to a powder that stays more satin matte especially for summer. I was contemplating the Sweed but definitely appears more luminous which it’s for me. I did get Laura Mercier.pressed powder which is ok but thinking I should have gotten Pat McGrath. I really would like to try the Lacome lip balms and actually the bronzer and their highlighter. Like the look of packaging but only on their website or Selfridges which is kinda of annoying. Love your thoughts on this too because I think you reviewed the bronzer, not sure about the highlighter.
I'm hoping the RMS powder ends up being a good alternative to the Givenchy as it sounds like the new formula isn't great. I'm kind of afraid to try it now, lol. I reviewed the Lancome bronzer and highlighter and really like both of them. I hope they become more widely available soon.
Hi Lexi! Thank you for your detailed reviews on so many new releases❤ Could you please say how the RMS powder wears throughout the day? It looks beautiful on you, but would like your opinion about the wear and look of it on the face after a few days wear 🙏🫶
I will definitely share some updates on it and more details soon. It wore beautifully the whole day and we are in the midst of extreme heat (like so many others) yet it looked great all day.
@@LexiJong thank you so much, I will definitely buy it then 😉🫶🌸I trust your detailed reviews and opinion like no one else! 💕
Hi Lexi - great video! I wonder on the PT highlighter, if you received one of the “goopy” batch. If you watch Tania Wells review, she bought them all, and one of the highlighters cream was “goopy” and looked like yours when you touch it. She returned it to another store and tested the same color and it was solid. I have baby, and it is solid, it does not look like yours when you touch it. Might be worth returning and trying a better version. That is too bad with this launch that they have bad batches!
Thanks for letting me know! Maybe it is a bad batch.
Thank you for the great reviews! Very disappointed in the PT highlighter, but I’m looking forward to your update on the RMS powder, though I share your packaging frustration. The lip balms looked very nice on you, but I don’t like heavily fragranced lip products, so I’ll skip them.
Thank you!!
You answered all my questions without me having to ask them. I would like to know about potential bleeding and feathering with the Lancome balm although that bakery type fragrance is not ideal.
I actually didn't really have any bleeding or feathering with the balm. It stayed in place until it wore off.
I keep watching reviews of the Patrick Ta highlighters to see if I need to purchase and it seems like no one who purchased themselves likes them…
It sounds like a few people in the comments like them but this one just wasn't for me.
Lexi, love when you review new products. It’s interesting PT highlighters being so disappointing. I laughed when you said I think it moved on my face and I’m not even going to compare it with any other swatches 😆. But I saw on another comment that there could be some bad batches out there. I’d be interested to see if yours is one of them. Still not good if there’s bad batches. The Lancôme baumes seem more pigmented than LE. Maybe it’s the color shades you chose. I really like the ones you chose and it sounds like they have more shades. The only con is the fragrance. I did not know LE is the creator of the Lancome baumes but that would explain why they look kind of similar. I’ll have to check out the Lancôme ones to compare. I have never tried RMS powder but it looked very nice on you. I like a good setting powder that’s just a thin layer that leaves a slight glow. Thank you for all the product reviews!! 😊🌺
The lancome balms are more pigmented. They really seem so much more similar to a lip chic than other tinted balms imo. Thank you so much Lora!
Oh my goodness, that is the most appealing brush (with the owl on it) that I have ever seen. 30,000 yen seems like an awfully lot of money, but it is still less than $200 and maybe that is not terrible for a large brush like that. Wow, what an interesting find!
She has another brush shape with this handle coming out soon. You can see previews on her instagram @baiyutang11. I'm not sure what the price point will be but it is a different shape completely.
Just wondering if you’ll be checking out the new Byredo Desert Rose palette? Your opinion would be valued.
Thanks for sharing.
I passed on that one, sorry!
I used the Patrick TA highlight on my eyes. LOL. As a eyeshadow or topper.
Great idea!
Great video, definitely buying the concealer. May I ask do you have a link for the gorgeous earrings? I want to get them for my daughter ❤
Thank you! Here is the link and you can get 15% off with LEXI_15 but I recommend signing up for their emails and sometimes they have 20% off. go.shopmy.us/p-5790334
@@LexiJong Thanl you so much, are they heavy?
I rushed to order the PT highlighters due to FOMO. But I’m returning them. Surprisingly disappointing. Also one was broken too.
That's a shame!
Thank you for this review & application of the Patrick Ta. So disappointed 😅but I kinda had a feeling. I picked up the Nars setting spray.. not sure still testing but it’s hot here in California. Have a great day! You look beautiful xx
Thank you! Please let me know how you like the setting spray. It's on my wishlist.
whats your nailpolish from?so pretty

Hi Lexi, do you prefer the new NARS eye pencil compared to Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier?
I'd say the Nars and BB are tied. For some reason, I don't like the LM as much.
I prefer the EL balm over the Lancôme. That’s just my personal preference because the fragrance in the Lancôme is just a bit too much for me. I just wish that EL would come out with some mid tone cool shades. I have Épanoui which is beautiful, but decidedly warm in tone. Even with the 1C pencil, it is still warm. I’m not holding my breath, though, because EL skews warm in general. It’s her esthetic so it is what it is. As for the Patrick Ta, I think the idea of needing two products to accomplish one function is using the concept of novelty (cream on top of powder) to market product. It’s true that back in the day, pot rouge had an oily slip, so if you wanted longevity, you had to use a corresponding powder blush over it. That is no longer necessary unless you have very oil skin. Most formulas today are so advanced that whether you choose a liquid, cream, or powder, you shouldn’t have to combine it with anything else. A whisper of finishing powder applied at the very end of your makeup application should keep everything in place. I sound like an old crank, don’t I? 😅 Be that as it may, at 80, I’ve seen so many incredible advancements in formulations, but I’ve also seen a slew of gimmicks that come and go. It’s become very easy to discern marketing from genuine purpose.
I hope she brings out some cool shades too. I think a lot of the tips and tricks that people used to use are starting to come back around and you are right, it's so hard to tell sometimes whether something has a genuine purpose. Great points Eileen!
Ty Lexi for the great in depth initial teview! I'm so disappointed in the Patrick Ta highlighter! Not interested in the Lancome lip balm (nor was I impressed w the LE lip baume!). The NARS primer is interesting but want to wait for your more indepth wear/review. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!
💜💜💖
Do you have a preferred eye primer (for someone very wrinkly like me).
I like the Viseart eye primer the best. I've gone through several tubes and I like it because it is smooth and goes on easily (has a silicone texture) but still prevents creasing and does not feel drying on my lids. There are some other eye primers that perhaps work better for certain purposes, like making shadows more impactful, but the viseart is the most well-rounded imo.
@LexiJong thank you I'd never thought of viseart! I'd thought of the nars tinted one but it seems discontinued
Passing on PT highlighter not a fan of his. I have the NARS primer setting spray and enjoying it.
I'm glad to hear that! That's on my wishlist too.
Good morning! I have been wanting to see those Butterglow balms from Lancome and you bought two of the colors that interested me most. I wonder how that deep one compares to Lisa's Metropolitan. I was so disappointed in that product. Very little color on the lips and too thin to really do much. Hats off to Lisa's return policy. I thought I might like the Lancome better. Does it migrate? It looks like the colors offer more options and might stay on longer.
The Nars eye shadow stick looks nice as well. I like a color like Don't Touch in the crease when I use the Westman Atelier Super Loaded highlighters on cheeks and eyes. Also, how does the Byredo eyebrow pencil compare to the Victoria Beckham? I have the VB, but it is a bit too soft and the color runs a bit warm for me. I might try the Byredo if you recommend it. Also, I hope you are enjoying the Perricone with the SPF. I don't actually sit out in the sun, so it's enough SPF for me when I'm running around town. And it suits my lazy summer makeup style. Thanks for the video!💚
The colors do not migrate. It stays put and lasts decently well. I like the consistency a lot. The Byredo is drier than the VB so a bit firmer and it has a finer tip. I am enjoying the perricone so thank you so much for your recommendation! It's great when I'm not going to be outside much.
@@LexiJong Great news about the Lancome. I think I'll try one to see how it looks/feels on me. I am So happy you like the Perricone. They make a Cold Plasma Neck and Chest with SPF too. Mostly I'm in the car and in and out of office buildings, so it's just enough for me. Plus it plays nice under every foundation and skin tint I've tried. I'm thrilled to finally have a good recommendation for you. You have given me so many. Seriously.
Hi Lexi, based on the other reviews on UA-cam I have watched of the new Patrick Ta highlights, I think you got a bad product. The green side is way too emollient, and some of them apparently came out that way and some didn't. I would probably return this one and see if I could get another one. I have my eye on the one named Sugar but there is no way I'm buying it without picking it up in store.
Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully it was just a bad batch.
It seems like no one likes the highlighter. IMO PT products have missed the mark lately. I’m not a fan of fragrance in makeup so I’ll pass on the Lancôme lip balm too.
It's a shame because they look so pretty until you touch them, lol.
Watching your review and Morgan Turner’s, I am going to pass on the PT’s highlighter. I love his blush duos to death and doesn’t look like the highlighter is similar to that formula or finish
I like the blush duos a lot more than these!
Tha P.T does look too greasy. Love the Nars eye pencil.
I hope they expand the shade range.
Hi Lexi! Thank you for taking one for the “team” - the PT highlighter duo was a true fail. I admit I was tempted by the pink duo but I decided to wait for reviews. I always hesitate when an MUA launches a new product - because MUA looks tend to be designed for high-impact on the runway. I am glad I waited. The RMS powder container design was a good idea in principle - too bad RMS didn’t test it. My favorite loose powder container design is MUFE’s - the circular “jar” looks a bit like an apple corer from above: four powder quarters, each with a different colored powder, around a central well that is large enough to accommodate a powder brush-head. When you twist the top against the base, some of the powder from each quarter gathers in the central well - you just have to dip your brush in the well to pick powder and apply. The Lancôme balms are pretty but I have too many lip balms as it is - Lancôme is a bit late to the balm game 😂. Thanks again Lexi for another great video and your honest take on each of these new products.
Thank you Jocelyne! I am so glad I didn't buy all three that I wanted from Patrick Ta. I love the MUFE powder packaging too! I don't know why more companies haven't done something similar. Maybe it's a patent issue. Have a great day!
i thought Lisa left lancome? it seems like such a conflict of interest for her to be working with them AND have her own pretty major brand. I was excited to see Nars brought the shadow sticks back only because I LOVED the shimmer shade Corfu in the old line. Looks like they didn't bring back any of the old shades and they are all matte.
I believe she is still there as I saw a promotion about her involvement in this product and they named one of the shades after her. I agree that it seems like a conflict of interest but I'm also not sure how much she is a part of the actual formulation vs. color selection so perhaps there are boundaries that are not publicized. I really hope they bring back Corfu!!
Flip lid?? Nah it's called the TA FLAP 🤣🤣🤣
lol
This Patrick Ta product is more like sheer not highlight.
Thank you!
