DBG: Installing Braum Elite R Fixed Back Racing Seats With Planted Technology Seat Mounts 69 Mustang

- This is a video I made for both Braum Racing, and Planted Technology seat mounts. Braum racing provided me with 2 Elite R fixed back racing seats, and 5 way racing belts. Great products, and service. Check them out. I did have an issue, with mounting the seat in the 69 mustang. The Planted seat has multiple mounting holes. The only set of holes that lined up the Braum Seat Elite R, was the middle mounting holes of the bracket. They match the Braum Seat Bracket mount, which is 12 1/2 inches length. To use any of the other mounting holes, you need to drill out the two rear dimples furthest back. Then you can mount the seat, in the outer, or inner mounting holes.

Mock up everything
Also you may need to use the aluminum bushings to raise the seat mount, so it does interfere with the dual lock slider.
The adjustable sliders mount flat side down, and spring up towards the front.
Make sure you put Allen bolt holding Braum Racing seat pointing down, so nut does not interfere with Braum slider bolts, that hold slider to seat.

I fitted the rest of the interior on previously recorded hell to install. But it all fits nicely in the end

I don’t think they care for them. Seems no interest. We have a go cart, they hardly ever drive it. May be weather just getting good too George
