I made some turkey neck stew about a month ago and told my 30 yo son, it was oxtail. We had a glut-fest. Yummy yum yum!
Today I'm getting a big fat turkey to jerk. Thank You Jesus for our food and Uncle Chris!

That looks really good. In the past, there were tough times in the world's history. They had to adapt with cooking. Even in North America, during the Great Depression, they had to make dishes with cuts of meat and poultry that people would otherwise overlook. Cheers, Chris! 👍👍✌️🇨🇦

This is so strange that I am stewing turkey necks, and to pass the time I turned on UA-cam and saw your video. The only thing I did not add was coconut and it turned out just as good as you stated as oxtails do. Keep the recipes coming because yours look so good. Thank you.

I really like your method of reducing the initial liquid to concentrate the flavor and enhance the brown color of the meat- it looks very appetizing and I'm sure it's quite tasty!

I love oxtail but I’m a poultry person and I am crazy about Turkey necks. Where I live they are hard to find year round. They usually show up for the holiday seasons. 😊❤️

Great video Chris! Another inexpensive choice of meats that could be used: Beef or Pork Neckbones. Would love to see you prepare a video for one of these options. Big Up!👍🏾

Cheaper cuts of meat can be the most flavorful, they need a little extra time to tenderize.
Roasted turkey neck is actually my favorite part of the bird.
