Resident Evil 4 Remake on PSVR2 is, HANDS DOWN, in my 28 years on this earth, the single BEST gaming experience I've ever had! It beats Half Life Alyx for me for greatest VR game by a long shot, and I love that game too. I'm hoping RE 7 gets an updated PSVR2 mode, that would be exceedingly rad!

I much prefer RE8 to RE4 purely because of how much more immersive 8 is with it having much more VR mechanics. But what they’ve done with RE4 is seriously impressive.
I wish I could figure out how to increase the volume. I have gone through every guide I could find. Tried an insane amount of earphones. Changed all system and tv settings and for whatever reason psvr2 doesn’t get great sound to me. When I fire the gun I want to hear the shot. I want to play this and so many others. I have them purchased but the sound thing won’t let me enjoy. If anyone has any ideas let me know. It could be a personal preference thing. The louder the better for me.
@ Thank you! 🙏 I’ll try that out. I feel like I’m missing out on so much all over an audio issue. The zombies all sound like grandmas yawning when I play and it completely destroys the immersion. lol
The only reason why RE4 Remake VR user numbers have been low is, that VR is treated as an afterthought and is pushed back. Becomes even more strange, because Re4 Remake is one of the absolute top contenders for high quality VR-Gaming. 98% of the userbase played it already in flat half a year before the VR-Release. And it is just like with stories/books/movies: You know them already, the magic is already absorbed in a certain way and you probably want to go on with another one. Just if Capcom reads this - THIS is one of the main reasons (besides Sonys VR2 price Tag, which for the moment is way better).
Yeah, its definitely the best of its genre and arguably VR in general. Its super accessible, (probably the most Accessible action game) where you can edit your wearables locations to move out wider or higher on body making it easy to play the game seated and having your gun & knife return to holster if dropped, of course standing is still the best way to experince it tho. The Quest version even more accessible and would say the mechanics in that is alot better with it being more interactable as well. But yes, RE4R for PSVR2 has to be the best in terms of graphics & gameplay, but lacks in immersion & mechanics a bit alright. If Sony just had a studio (something similar to flattovr) to convert any other of their popular flat game library to VR i think they could easily dominate the VR market.
I have to admit, I was a little bit let down by RE4 on PSVR2. The first time I played this game was the Quest port when it came out. And while the graphics were a noticeable upgrade here, I felt like the VR interactions actually took a step back? I might misremember this, but I honestly found the Quest version more intuitive when it comes to the "VR" side of things. But it's still very much worth a purchase on PSVR2. I just personally found other PSVR2 games to be better.
The pro version runs at a higher resolution and is much clearer than the regular PS5 version. Not sure why you didn't mention it an a 'PS5 Pro Patch Review'
Well, some VR dudes say os the same VR mode as on PS5 without any difference. Or new special patch for VR release?? Ow, i complete watching, ok - i got it)) Thank you!)

This is the game I've played the most so far, there's no game that's turned me on as much. I've played a lot of games and even Alyx isn't as fun for me. I don't know any games that work as perfectly as this. I've done it about ten times without ever having a bug and always fun . I've tried all the Resident Evil mods on PC and we quickly realize that it's not just a simple mod like everyone think . the only thing that is a little disappointing is not being able to play as ada
I prefer village for 1 massive reason. Going into 3rd person for kicks is the most jarring experience ever. This does not mean i think village is the best psvr2 game either. That has to go to no mans sky.
I thought this was pretty much common knowledge that Sony pays Capcom for these VR modes. People are so caught up in saying PSVR2 is unsupported by Sony but the truth is that rather than paying for first party studios to make VR games... Sony has Partnered with studios to make VR content exclusive to PSVR2. It's why none of the RE games have an official VR mode on PC, RE7 VR, RE8 VR, and now RE4 remake VR modes are funded by Sony.
I don't understand why at this point they can't release these official VR modes for the PC version of their games. The mod is cool and all but come on.
@@Joeybatz33 It fixed the issue with crashing the game if you loaded a previous save file, which is HUGE obviously. Nothing specific about pro but the previous pro patch did increase resolution for VR. I hope a future pro patch for 90hz comes out though
After the PS5 Pro patch I am almost certain the game saw a resolution bump. Sadly they have not done anything about the reprojection. This video is misleading though. It says that its testing the Pro patch, and then has one sentence in a 6 minute video where it says "there's not changes rofl". Even though the game has clearly gotten a resolution bump from the original release.
@GAMERTAGVR I mean yes, my opinion is subjective, but so is yours, mate. Until we see some actual data, neither of us has the authority to say if it has seen a res boost. To me, and to others online, it has. I wouldn't say that's "misleading", it's two subjective experiences.

I didn't like re8, they toned down the horror too much and for me it was more like a fantasy type horror adventure game. Re4 vr proves we don't need full interactions in order to have a great vr experience.
I think Call of the Mountain should be considered the best PSVR2 game Is the only game made from the ground for VR, not just a flatscreen version (which is nice, don't get me wrong, I love the hybrid games and hope they keep coming but a game made for VR like Call of the Mountain, Behemoth or Half Life Alyx is in another level)

I disagree. That’s why I didn’t mention it.
I've played both and personally I think RE4 VR on Meta Quest is better just for the fleshed out Mercenaries mode.
Well, some VR dudes say os the same VR mode as on PS5 without any difference.
Or new special patch for VR release??
Ow, i complete watching, ok - i got it)) Thank you!)
Still waiting for it to come on sale
I hope RE2 and 3 and 7 get the PSVR2 patch. I just can’t play it flat anymore
RE4 will always be the GOAT no matter the hardware!
Why does it have to be locked to psvr2 tho, I don't have $500 for this
It’s on sale for $350
@MagicMonkey96 potato potato bro
I have a valve index and no need for 2 headsets outside of exclusivity
Plus I'd rather spend that 300 dollars on a new monitor since mine just broke.
@@gmodiscool14 You can sell the index and just use the PSVR2 as your PCVR and PSVR2 headset
That has to go to no mans sky.
they really need to bring this to PC so we can throw better hardware at it for stronger framerates and the ability to increase the graphics settings
Nah, behmoth is best on psvr2. Its just so good, and i have played all of the games on psvr2, nothing comes close
I don't understand why at this point they can't release these official VR modes for the PC version of their games. The mod is cool and all but come on.
I only wish the graphics were better it’s abit too grainy
So basically PS5 Pro patch did absolutely nothing to make the game look better and run better on PSVR2.
Pro patch today? It did get an update out of no where today
Wait really??
@AeonGreyh not sure that's what the update did but It did get a patch this morning out of the blue
@@Joeybatz33 It fixed the issue with crashing the game if you loaded a previous save file, which is HUGE obviously. Nothing specific about pro but the previous pro patch did increase resolution for VR. I hope a future pro patch for 90hz comes out though
Question of taste. For me it's still GT7
I think there is no difference. It’s not clearly had a resolution increase and if you tell people that, I think YOU are misleading people. Not me.
@GAMERTAGVR I mean yes, my opinion is subjective, but so is yours, mate. Until we see some actual data, neither of us has the authority to say if it has seen a res boost. To me, and to others online, it has. I wouldn't say that's "misleading", it's two subjective experiences.
skyrim vr takes it, i'm afraid. RE4 remake is superb. However, moving cutscenes to flat mode was an absolute mistake and breaks immersion completely.
I still waiting for re7
Unpopular opinion: I like the quest version better with the OG graphics
To be honest I am just tired of RE4
Is a great game for sure, but I am done
I beat this game like 5 times on Wii
Then I got the remake on my Xbox, beat once
And when I bought the Quest 3 this year I picked the RE4 VR
But I don't even finished yet as much as I enjoyed because I am just tired of RE4
Need to go back in the future
I LOVE both
Both are great but I prefer the remake because for me it’s more immersive and I like the gameplay more for the remake
BRING IT TO PC!!
I didn't like re8, they toned down the horror too much and for me it was more like a fantasy type horror adventure game. Re4 vr proves we don't need full interactions in order to have a great vr experience.
I think Call of the Mountain should be considered the best PSVR2 game
Is the only game made from the ground for VR, not just a flatscreen version (which is nice, don't get me wrong, I love the hybrid games and hope they keep coming but a game made for VR like Call of the Mountain, Behemoth or Half Life Alyx is in another level)
Too much climbing and not enough action for me
Naaa resi8 smashes horizon no contest
Horizon Call of the Mountain is more of a tech demo and not an actual game so nah, Resident Evil 4 Should be considered the best PSVR2 game
@@ibrahimEhan786 Really??? It seems so good
I am sick and tired of Resident Evil 4 (and can already play the Quest version) and don't own a racing wheel
But I would like to play Horizon and RE Village if I had a PSVR2
@@ZFCaio you should try it, you won’t regret it I promise 👍
agree....the best PSVR2 game!
Just sucks when you know you could be playing it better and with mods if they just released it on pc.
Resident Evil Village on PSVR2 is way better.
踢腿忽然的第三视角是什么鬼
Isn't this the one you never finished your playthrough of?
