The word apostate came up in my little world. I looked it up and started thinking oh my gosh that's me cuz I did walk away from God after my first divorce and acted like I was not a Christian. My salvation is eternal. It is a done deal. I am saved and headed for glorious heaven. I am not holy i am not a saint nor do i have a clean and perfect life but God has wiped away all my shortcomings and sin forever and He will remember them no more even though He has limitless memory. Halleluia.

Here is Paul's greeting to the saints in Corinth in 1 Corinthians 1:2 "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:" They are called saints by Paul, and he says "them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, WITH ALL that IN EVERY PLACE call upon the name of Jesus Christ...." There are other places in the Holy Scriptures where those who belong to Jesus are called saints. But, as you know I'm sure, it's nothing we have done that gives us that title. I believe that I did lose my salvation, I had a profound spiritual experience when I was in my 20s, and, I was born again active in the church, but I backslid and God made me forget. For 25 years I always believed, but I lived a very very sinful life. Last year at a very low moment, the holy spirit came to me, convicted me for 3 days, filled my heart with incredible warmth, and my eyes were opened once again. So I know this is true for me, had I died during the time I was blinded, I would have gone to hell. I don't know about anyone or anything else. But I was blinded and when my eyes were opened once again, I could see my filthy, horrible state of being, when I was blinded, I thought I was good and everyone else was wrong. So bizarre when God opens our eyes, how different our perception is. I deserved hell .
the same thing happen to me I gave my life to the lord at 18 served faithfully for 3 years then had a dream that I would be going back to the way I was before I cried and tried my best not to, but a divorce finished me off and I was seven times worst then I was before it took 25 years before God decided to change my life, the reason I believe why this happen was because God needed to show me that it was his doing and not mine, the first time I gave my life to the lord it was a works faith the second time it was all God , He spoke and all I had to do was to say yes lord, did I lose my salvation? I was chosen before the foundation of the world ,Eph1:4 even though I wasn't following him he was following me making sure I I was not snatch from his hands, I counted over 35 times I should have died over those 25 years.

Catholicism teaches (contrary to the bible), that a person will be born again in BAPTISM, and that is a lie. So when someone is talking about being born again, they don't necessary mean the same as the bible. Same word, different meaning. According to the bible, the new spiritual birth comes by faith in Christ according to the GOSPEL (not roman theology) and their water baptism.

Listen... If a person can lose their salvation, then they can never ever say that they know they are saved. Because if you can do something that can cancel out your salvation today (or next week, or next year, or 20 years, etc), then at best you can say is "I know I am saved right now." But what you can never say is, "I know I have eternal life."

It's not about works it's about Behavior why are there so many sermons then on how people are misbehaving in the world and calling themselves Christians we're talking about that all the time the Judgment of Christians in fact it's in the Bible that if a Christian is doing something that's listed there in the Bible and says they're a Christian we're not even supposed to eat with them or or mix with them after we've lovingly told them that they're out of line I just don't I just don't buy all this
