I absolutely love John Macarthur! He preaches and teaches the Bible. He doesn't care if he hurts your feelings. He just wants us to know the truth!!! So he doesn't preach what these other guys are preaching. The name it, claim it and God wants us all to be millionaires garbage! Please Pastor John keep on going and we will be listening ❤️❤️❤️ and learning and growing

This is so helpful, in my confusion I need to let gods work in me come out and be manifest in my life. I understand it as stop holding back a great gift
Thank You so much by telling me the truth exactly what the Bible means word for word I am one of the saved fortunate extremely and overwhelming grateful ones of gods children. Thank you lord for reaching out to me when you had one of your daughters had me the word of the bible and read it he pulled up my whole life and it wasn't good I was dead in my own s i n s everything John says is true it's been two years and it is a total change of life when God Jesus and the Holy Spirit enter your life for real I am forever grateful yes the Lord will help you with your sinning yet you must do the working as well Satan is always at work and I always pray to God I keep sending me his angels to keep this thing away from me Satan's evil there are trials I was put the bema seat for 40 days n was scared to death as well he will keep testing you I always knew I did have good in me I could never understand the bad I do to myself there is a God believe that Jesus Christ Is For Real Jesus Christ is the Lord I believe, always have God the Father the holy spirit is one and the resurrection of Jesus Christ not only did he bless me & save me I never knew I can have such love like this before I do wish I can talk to John MacArthur himself and I wish all churches preached like this cause it's the only way n the truth that the churches are scared to tell, Yet you can't run or change it. Face it! This is our god n like was said to me was your either for christ or not! I do get messages about me whenever god wants to tell me something I'm doing n things only concerning me. I am not a profit!!!!

I can see why God gave teachers to the Church to equip and edify the saints. I find this sermon very intetesting. Coming from a RC background where works and self righteousness is so deeply ingrained it would be so easy to fall to either of these beliefs. What did Paul mean when he said "i do not frustrate the grace of God. Its very interesting. Its one thing to know something theoritically but is it done in me is the Q. Looking forward to Part 2.Thank God for the gift of teachers like this dear servant.

As I listen, it seems many confuse being born again by the Holy Spirit and salvation.
Salvation or the Greek
so-tay-ree'-ah feminine of a derivative of [swthr] - soter as (properly, abstract) noun; rescue or safety (physically or morally):--deliver, health, salvation, save, saving.
So being born again is the regeneration of the human spirit. This is what enables us; Jn. 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
In Rom. 8 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
So to work out your own salvation according to the meaning of the word. Is a moral action that God through His Spirit in us is causing.
This is why as Rom. 12 states And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Also Jesus said ; But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”
The difference between that passage is we have a new heart if we are born of the Spirit.
Ezk. 36 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.

What needs to be understood is, "It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me". ". That which I do I hate, oh wretched man am I.....WHO can deliver me....... ONLY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! Some have had wonderful Christian upbringing, a disciplined lifestyle, a loving home, a wonderful marriage, ALL given by God and their Christian walk can look like they are BETTER Christians then the weaker brother...your message glorifies YOU, NOT GOD!
You're so very right. I was brought up like that. I was a 'good kid', saved at a young age and surrounded by good influences and Scripture.
But it is only in the last few years that I have begun to really understand how sinful I am apart from Christ and how much pride I have within me. It's a daily fight, which I didnt understand when I was younger and life was simple and easy.

I agree with the woman, so many preachers have become "SELF RIGHTEOUS". John You too! Who has sanctified you? You call it SELF DISCIPLINE! But who gave you your upbringing? Who gave you all the gifts you possess...Faith proceeds from The Throne of God, some have more than others.....but, God says, "Only I shall be glorified! Glorify God that He ALONE has made thee thus,
John is not self righteous. You obviously havent listened to enough of his sermons to realize that.
Why does the apostle Peter tell us to add to our faith virtue and self-control? And Paul says Present yourselves as slaves of obedience which leads to righteousness?Jesus himself telling us only those who do the will of the father will enter the kingdom... in order to do the will of the father we must be obedient there is no other way! it's not obedience to the law to save yourself it's obedience to Christ to become his righteousness, because we are no longer slaves of an enemy who used to own us...we are no longer compelled to obey a defeated sin master...we are no longer owned by the tyrant masters of sin we are owned by God..if we're not being obedient to God, then who are we being obedient to? .there is no in between...
