I reserved a loaded 2021 TRD Pro (Super White). Has the bed liner, led bed lights, black tube steps, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, power tailgate lock, console gun safe, etc. Got a GREAT deal on it! Only paying MSRP, and getting $44K trade in value for my 2020 SR5 (RWD). Deal of a lifetime 😎 I think I might be the only person who dislikes the Lunar Rock color. It’s just too green looking for me; reminds me of pistachio pudding. 😁 The only bummer is the JBL Stereo System. I hear it really sucks. I have TacoTunes in my SR5, hoping to get it in the Pro eventually.
Really hoping i can own one of these soon, i love the 2021 over the 2022 because of the V8! Who thought it was a good idea to get rid of the V8! These look so niceee i love them
My bother have worked for Toyota for over 18 years as a head mechanic. The new engine will not fail at it. The base engine is the same as the LS500. That engine was tested 7 years consistently before it was put into the LS500 in 2018. Now we are in 2021 going on 11 years for that engine with no issues at it. It has proven to be bullet proof and will not fail. He also said the new I Force Max has been in production since 2014 tested regularly in Japan before coming in production. This has also proven to be strong with no failures at all. Toyota will not put out an engine to ruin their long term reliability to only fail. People are simply hurt because they want a V8 and that doesn't exist anymore! The future is electric and everyone needs to understand this. All in all many people that sit on here and talk crap about the truck will never buy it or probably can't afford it. Everyone screaming 22 TRD PRO, but when that 65,143 starting price drop there mine will change quickly. Hint, I just gave you the starting price!
@T-boe the first Did you even read the comment? The 5.7 is an amazing engine but Toyota is targeting the consumer who ends up trading/selling their Truck within 5 years for a new one and they rarely see 500k miles within that time frame.
@T-boe the first do you work for Toyota? Have you visited Japan and worked there studying ? You just talking right now because it sounds good while not knowing nothing. So carry on with your bias self!
This is the best truck in the world. If you own one… do not get rid of it. The new twin turbo engines need to work out the bugs, then in time they should be good. Give it 5 plus years. 👍😁🙏
Simplicity and reliability, less to go wrong as it doesn’t have turbos or a hybrid system that can potentially fail. And, it will probably sound better too
Lol no doubt it will sound better. BUT if youre talking about "things that can potentially fail" you have to give some credit to toyotas reputation for being reliable, their hybrids have been around for a long time
@@JCario-ed9hz when I meant that I meant as in the very very slim and highly unlikely chance that they fail. It also likely won’t last as long as the v8’s due to the turbos wearing out the engine quicker and the hybrid battery degrading over time
@@HughRussell06 but thats years down the line though. If youre buying a truck thats almost exclusively for off-road then you probably have some money left around for some fixes. Not saying that replaciing turbos or batteries is cheap, but that comes with the territory

Own a 2019 in Voodoo Blue and love It. Is a great truck and i receive compliments on it wherever I go.
I’m very fond of V-8’s…😊👍

I guess it won't fail like my frame that rusted in half, leaf springs that split, and paint that is still melting off daily? HAHAHAHA American Toyota.
PS.The 2021 Trdpro is also $64k
this didnt age well as the turbos are failing lift and right
1st lol. Hi to all. V8's should always be a option. Lower gas prices are always welcome. 👍✌
Even though many f150s have the ecoboost, at least you have a v8 option unlike the new tundra
Sorry but you aren’t. I see a comment from 1 minute before yours. Should have typed faster lol.
@@caseyschmidt6532 Oh oh what will I do?! No problem, should have typed faster you're right lol.
Damn I hope I get one before its too late.
is there a company that makes a supercharger for the 2021 Toyota Tundra
1:30 Woah someone finally found the corner of a circle.
What a truck for a Toyota tundra and what a color
Would you choose this or a 2021 F150 Lariat Sport 502A V8?
This!
All it needs is a magnesun supercharger.
And a trans cooler 🥴
Does the tailgate lock with the key fob(remote control)?
No. But they can be ordered online for around $140.00.

Hey ben the new v6 trd pro is supposed to have a higher hp + torque. What do you think makes the v8 better?

Its a good conversation to have. Both have pluses and minuses 👍
What does she tow??
why does everyone shoot everything in close up? i wanted to know if driver side has grab handles.
No. But can be ordered aftermarket OEM at Sparks parts. Easy install.
Does this year come with a front bench seat option ? Thanks !
I can get one with 1800 miles for 72k from a private owner. His price is firm
So the TRD PRO package just changes the shocks and adds skid plates ? 😂 everything else is cosmetic
I think the shocks are pretty expensive, even if you go aftermarket. Plus I think it’s lifted from the factory.
My range is 430 miles per tank😢

Believe me, a lot of people will miss it 😂
