That intro was real good haha
thx bb
Hope you enjoyed guys! what's your favorite point and click? and be sure to swing by the gameplay channel for a Full Throttle series!
MathasGames
Day of the Tentacle. Cartoon logic, time travel and a tentacle that wants to take over the world. What more could you ask for?
From childhood "Les voyageurs du temps" (never translated to english I think ?) made by Delphine software
(and graphics made by Eric Chahi) (yes that one)
Is this video your way of telling your viewers and fans that you're gay? (serious question)
Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis, Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail, Full Throttle, Broken Sword, Discworld, Monkey Island 1-3 are some of my favorites. If I had to pick one I would probably go with Day of the Tenatcle. That game is just perfection imo.
Clearly The Curse of the Monkey Island. Though The Wolf Among Us isn't far behind. So yeah, one old style and one from the Telltale series
I grew up with this game, and it was a treat to know a game that, for the longest time I figured people forgot, came back. It was fantastic to see this review pop up, and I hope others will buy it.
I loved this game back in the day... Even my dad, who hates video games, was always fascinated and loved to watch me play! The remastered visuals here look amazing!💖
heh, FYI you only need one box of bunnies. You just need to walk to the point where the bunnies explode before dropping the next bunny; if you don't walk to the exact spot the bunny will just explode again. If done right you'll actually have leftover bunnies from the first box :) Also the game's not post-apocalyptic, it's just set in the desert in an alternate future
And, you can use one of those leftover bunnies during one of the final sequences to get an Achievement lol
Love this channel, never got to play most of these games but they're still really entertaining to watch.
Is this the first time Mathas has turned down a lick request? You can't tell me he doesn't seem like a licker.
Excellent video my dude.
He should have used Ben's line "I'm not putting my lips on that..."🤦🏼♀️😅
you can do te bunny puzzle with one box
Dean was getting revenge on Mathas for force choking him during the Star Wars Rebellion video
I enjoyed watching Full throttle so much, you should do another point and click adventure game! They're really compelling and enjoyable to watch
Favorite Point and Click will always be The Longest Journey, simply for its plot, settings and its main character :)
Pan Zarius I thought nobody knew that game
* Waves Crow flag *
TLJ is unforgetable
I love your videos man keep it up!
Your videos and channel altogether needs a lot more viewership, man. I found your channel through your episode on Ninja Blade (of all things, lol) and stuck around because I really enjoy the videos you make. If you ever see this, keep up the good work! 😁
Liked the emotions Mathas' produces during the videos :3
its funny XD
Love this game, one of my favs
not gonna lie, that opening was legit funny
Thanks! :D
no problem, keep up the good work man
By the way you totally don't have to get two boxes of bunnies you can do it with one box you put the bunny down you get Ben to follow its path then put another bunny down get ben to follow its path until you're across the mine field, it is not that complicated
Another amazing Judge Mathas video, keep it up!
Maybe it would be good to show a message on the screen that the footage you show in the beginning are not of Full Throttle Remastered, but other games from the 90's/80's
Full Throttle was my favorite point and click from my childhood and the first game I ever beat by myself, so it holds a very special place for me. Favorite newer point and clicks are probably TellTales Walking Dead or the Deponia series.
I remember Full Throttle from my childhood fondly, although if I had to point out my favorite point'&'click, it would be The Wolf Among Us by Telltale Games, followed by their Tales from the Borderlands.
I do like the Wolf Among Us (good story and interesting characters, easily the best game from Telltale, arguably the only good one even), but I do feel it's still just that little bit overrated. I don't think adding quicktime events or timed stuff always works well. I liked point & click games that revolved around puzzles better. Yes, Full Throttle, just like Grim Fandango or Monkey Island and various other classics in the genre, certainly has it's fair share of seemingly crazy puzzles. But that's kind of the charm of the genre. I also think Full Throttle was pretty innovative with it's combat stuff that wasn't quicktime event nonsense.
omg those ideas are golden :D brillant intro
Fantastic video once again Mathas. Hands down my favourite point and click is The Secret of Monkey Island, just cant beat a classic. :)
I wish my shows were this good.
That's what happens when you Force-choke Dean!
TDanger1911 I still feel we're not even
fun side things to do.... try to take the mink on the piano in the bar .... have some extra bunnies and toss them into the semi-truck's motor fan :)
I was always a fan of the Humongous Entertainment games -- I played Spy Fox and Freddi Fish as a kid.
I loved maniac mansion, day of the tentacle and the Sam and Max games, of course, I loved the Indiana Jones game as well. I never played monkey island I my youth and years later, I've just finished them both in remastered editions. this will be another that I will be playing for the first time.
I never had your issues with the bunnies. It always takes like 5-7 bunnies to make your way through. Picking them up is a pain though.
Telltale's games are more like Interactive Movies rather than Adventure games!
each road enemy has a particular weakness to one of the weapons.
I would like to thank Michael Bay for being the trash director that thinks special effects are a plot line
Grim Fandango is sooo good
My fave is easily grim fandango but i hv yet to play full throttle, will def go play itXD
Shadowgate for NES is my favorite. Thanks for the review as I've been debating on getting this on PS4
I could do the bunny section with only 5 bunnies, i think you werent moving forward by the path that the bunnies made.
6:25 No... Not minivans!
"I'm not putting my lips on that.... thats for nuts"
phoenix wright count?
Novago Cooper I would say so! They're some of my favourites in any case
Found a new one on Steam called Paradigm, loved it, it was pretty hilarious.
Oh dear God this game....
Barbie Riding Club. 9 year old me saved up $100 and convinced my parents to put it towards a computer for that game lol. Totally worth it.
It's probably not my favourite but beneath a steel is pretty good... and so is The Dig.
I Love the original Leisure Suit Larry series (1 through 7), it's a tie between 5 and 6 for me. The first 3 were already old and too clunky for me to enjoy when I first got my hands on the series.
Wish they hadn't butchered the series with the Larry Lovage stuff though. Magna Cum Laude at least had a few good moments (Lesbian Nights and the dnd scene were awesome), but Box Office Bust was just terrible in every way :/
I LOVED the LA Indiana Jones game, unfortunately, at one point I got stuck, I think it was a bug, but I still don't know. Never finished it.
Black Cauldron (from Sierra Games)
Police Quest
King's Quest
Space Quest
Pleeeeeeeeease do one (read: all) of these!
I think my favorite point and click is Syberia so far. I like the new stuff because it cuts out a lot of problems the old ones had. I also liked Gabriel Knight even though the story is....problematic.
I loved playing Maniac Mansion on NES, didn't have a descent computer for many years. Also I have a question, would Shadowgate count. It is point and click. Loved that and Deja Vu too.
Deja Vu was awesome. And somehow very scary.
So true. I feel like those two games were the half way point from text based adventures and the classic point and click ones.
Mathaaaasss. You`re going to get so much slash fiction between you and Dean now! You better have a picture of him in your wallet (jks)
Ristro44 I look forward to it
Same!
Planescape: Torment
Broken Sword 1,2 and 5
Great edit Dean and that intro was flawless lol.
Mathas, rly, play Grim Fandango :D
I'm still torn about how they cancelled a sequel long ago and a remake in 3D in more recent times. Full Throttle even today is still a total joy to play. It's well written, it has spot on humour and excellent point & click discoveries and such. I absolutely dislike Tim Schafer. I think he's an idiot in so many ways. I refuse to believe the Tim Schafer of today had anything meaningful to do with these classics. Full Throttle is a gem.
Did you say you have to get the box of bunnies twice? That's not true, at least for the original version. One box of bunnies is enough... You have to walk into the minefield as far as possible before releasing a new bunny...
But i will admit... picking up the bunnies is absolutely stupid nonetheless...
People have said this. Clearly, I am just an idiot while I played.
Lick it!!!
I DON'T WANNA
*furiously clicks lick*
what's your native language?
You know the reason why you'd rather this game not have motorcycle combat?
Because you suck at it LoL
My favorite point and clicks I can think of right away are Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers The Curse of Monkey Island.
I remember this game though I did not play it. I read all the reviews available at the time. Something is very off with these new graphics. They look kind of gays or weirdos.
Damn right the new Transformers movies are garbage!
