Drank my coffee and really enjoyed this focus on Rajas. Definitely do more of these videos! We bought Rajas at the end of November because of your love for the game (still need to get it to the table.) We have learned that if the Bros. Murph love it, we probably will too. Also, our preschooler when she woke up and came downstairs - “Ooh, I like his shirt today! Pink and purple!!” You guys have been in our house a lot during the pandemic and now our daughter critiques your wardrobe choices, apparently. ;)
It's such a nice game where you have something between tactics and strategy combined with the hope of rolling the right dice. Thumbs up for you for loving this game
I actually think this series should replace WOTS. Now, that's not because the shelf series isn't interesting, but the format gives us almost the same exact pitch as rapid reviews, which will eventually encompass all the games on your shelf anyway. This gives folks who want to see and hear more about a specific game a chance to get a deeper look. Thumbs up.
I think as long as you continue with games that are more niche and you are passionate about I will be interested. For example, I don't need a video about Wingspan or Terraforming Mars whereas you always talk up Roccoco and I'm curious about this deep of an overview on why.
I love Rajas too and it was great to hear your enthusiastic love for it too! I am of Indian heritage and it is nice to see the culture represented by such a great game. The Goodie boxes for it, esp with Mango villages expansion is really good too.
Thanks Nick! So I just picked this game up. Rajas was on my wishlist when it first came out but got deleted it over time. Then after watching your top 100 games of all time, I put it back on the list! A few days ago it was a good deal and grabbed it. Super excited to give it a go.
Rajas has been on my list for some time and I always seem to pass it for something newer and shinier. I'm going to have to finally pull the trigger on this one.
Nick I have to tell you you sold me on this game. I FINALLY got a copy and when I opened the board my partner said "Man, that's a busy board!" haha. We sat down and played last night and you did not oversell this game at all! It's such a great interplay of dice rolling, resource management, planning, and worker placement. I can't wait to play again tonight. They included some historical and cultural information in the rulebook which was a lovely touch; it was nice to learn about the culture and history behind the theme and what certain mechanisms represented from that perspective.
Love Love Love! Being able to just geek out and let your freak flag fly is amazing! I especially like how you compare and contrast with other touchstone games like Carcassonne.
You have been raving about this game here and there throughout videos for quite awhile. I purchased it for Xmas and have been loving it. I think it has replaced castles of burgundy as my medium weight go to.
It's really fun to hear you explain the game. It's exactly the way i explain this game .... Even if it's busy, THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY !!! You'll figure it out!
I actually bought this game last week based on your previous reviews of it. Can't wait for it to arrive! Would you suggest the goodie box expansion as well? Keep this series going!
Yes. There are two, and they just add tiny little easily implemented modules you can add in as many or as little at a time. One of my favorites in Box 2 is a special worker that lets you choose whatever pip value you like when you use it, but it is one of the workers you can earn later on.
Yes. I want more of these. I love hearing WHY you love game. Personally, I enjoy hearing people talk about things they are passionate about. and you & Mike do it so well when it comes to games. though it is dangerous to my wallet. I purchased this, and now the Dice charmers because of how highly you praise it. so on second thought... no...? seriously, though, you two put such quality in everything you do, I would probably watch a video of the two of you staring at the camera, seeing how long you won't blink. cause knowing you two, it would still be funny and engaging. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the highlight! This is one I'm looking to pick up based on this and previous reviews. One that I would love to see a highlight on is Rajas of the Ganges: The Dice Chambers. Maybe talk about the differences between the two and why/why not it would be worth it to get both
Great to hear about games you love. I've only played this once and that was online, I would certainly enjoy it more actually rolling those chunky dice. The only issue we found is the runaway leader problem. It seems odd that there are rewards for getting further along the points trackers. Got any opinions on that? Maybe the rest of use were just not experienced enough to know how to catch up.
Great video really liking this series. Keep em comin’. This is a game I didn’t know much about and damnit....now I wanna buy it. I like the camera work showing the board. Good lighting and clear. I’m kind of a new gamer so I appreciate the way the rules and game was explained, very easy to understand. New to the channel too, brothers murph is becoming a favorite of mine.
This game is amazing. Perfect intro for casual gamers, everyone loves that eliphant and all the colored dice! My favourite part about this game is the limited open information thats easyily visible with 1 look around the table, so you can anticipate your opponents'(friend?) short and long term plans . Ok, my opponent has 2 upgrades in the mill buildings so he gets 4 points when he places it in his province so he will probably go for the green tiles cause there's a mill building available in the market. But he has no green dice, so let's block him from getting more green dice! Let's block the spot he wants to go to on the river and look him right in the eyes when you do this. Feels so good! Try it out on yucata.de
I really love this game, but my friends & I feel like we have to house rule the market space that doesn’t require a die to require a die or that strategy is just so overpowered. Have you found the same?
Please continue this series!
Seconded! I actually prefer these semi-deep dives into the games you love vs. the reviews of newer stuff (though I enjoy those as well).
It would be a crime to not see this series going!
What do you think about the mini-expansions? The goody boxes?
I love when you guys highlight one game. Book them and they shall come! Haha I’ll watch them all
Update since my previous comment - we have now played Rajas twice. Easily in my top 3 games. It has a little bit of many things I love. Great game.

Uhhh i completely forgot about that game! I played it once in a game course ... I'll so put that one on my wishlist! Please continue this series :)
Yessss please please continue to do these!!
Because of you guys I bought and play Rajas. Love the game. Thank you lads and please continue game highlights. Cheers
It's such a nice game where you have something between tactics and strategy combined with the hope of rolling the right dice.
Thumbs up for you for loving this game

I agree with Nick here! Give exposure to the not so over-exposed games please!
Then I would watch all in the series.
Thanks
Love this segment, please don't stop! Now I want to play that game too!
Love this series, please keep doing these highlights. I had heard you talk so much about this game but had never seen anything about it in detail.
Bring it back!
I love Rajas too and it was great to hear your enthusiastic love for it too! I am of Indian heritage and it is nice to see the culture represented by such a great game. The Goodie boxes for it, esp with Mango villages expansion is really good too.
I really like this format that allows you to focus on your favorite games and gives us a deeper appreciation of why. Please do more of these. Thanks

Bros, love this game and your presentation. This is a great series, please keep doing it.
Thank you!

What up, Bros?!! Definitely continue this series. I always love to hear why you guys love a game. Rajas is absolutely one of my favorites too!

Love this, like your bgg in focus series but with an opinion! I like this more.
More, please. I really enjoy this format!
Please highlight Wendake!!! 😊😊😊😊
Great video, was debating on picking this game up, now I'm sold on it. Keep this series coming!

Continue this please!!!
Excellent video. Would love to see more
Great review! My family just played it together the other day and we all love it too!
yes more, do it, do it
Great series to bring back to the channel. Would love to see either of you do "The Lost Ruins of Arnak" next.

Yes, more please.
Loved this. Definitely keep doing these.

Try it out on yucata.de
Keep it going!
Amazing game!
Well, now I want Rajas of the Ganges! Any love for a classic like Twilight Struggle?
Great game! Just played it on Yucata.de and it reminds me a bit of Marco Polo as well, another fantastic dice placement game!
Do Feast for Odin next! (pretty please)
Rajas is the bestest
I vote yay, moooarrr
Love it
I really love this game, but my friends & I feel like we have to house rule the market space that doesn’t require a die to require a die or that strategy is just so overpowered. Have you found the same?
Y'all should Highlight the Baseball 2045!
Check the video in the end screen ;)
@@TheBrothersMurph Oh man, I'm a DING DONGGGGGGGGGGG. Thanks! Watching now!
So you really really like it? :)
Reminds me of Troyes.
