I swear ever since the Chasm and forward the storylines have been more and more heartbreaking. I cry for these characters. Even watching certain scenes gets me going. Yes, many of the stories where great beforehand already and now with events we get to follow up on how the older characters are doing. It’s very appreciated that many are still involved, even after new regions releases.
Sumeru's first archon quest and Enkonomiya is proof this game is improving in narrative and as a live service. Finally entering the Chasm was also a highlight for me. What an amazing year.

Man.... I didnt even know that there was sooo much content this year! From Liyue, to inazuma, to sumeru and then mondstadt. They did all the regions and also added more like the fatui and enkonomiya. Like wow.... truly amazing and nostlagic. So excited for what's yet to come!!!!!

It's one of those games where i wished i played sooner. Tried the game for the first time around the time it was released but i got overwhelmed and dropped it. Only when i tried again this year that i fully appreciate this beauty. Thankfully its fully playable in mobile otherwise i wouldn't enjoy it this much
Ppl are saying Genshin is gonna take 10 years to finish but ALL OF THIS happened within one year, it’s been a lil over two years and already 4 out of 7 nations are out
The yakshas story as well as Shenhe's were already very good, but you get to Sumeru and it's just so really incredible, specially when comparing it to the previous region Archon Quests. Nahida herself is imo the best written character in the game and just from watching these glimpses at her story u can feel myself tearing up. Great job man. I can only hope Fontain and onwards is just as good as Sumeru was

This is all FREE, however with this much quality and heart poured into the game, I am very willing to spend some money to support it :) This game will always have a special place in my life and I hope everyone takes their time and enjoy their own journey~
Nahida and greater lord rhukkedevata at 13:29 has got to be the saddest but best part of this year in genshin story, the amazing increase in writing quality has been great. also absolutely loved all the Aranyaka quest in Sumeru, definitely a highlight

If I really think about it, this game has had the best content this year. At the moment you couldn't appreciate it but it has collectively been a enjoyable experience
Tbh the Jade Chamber quest wasn't handled well. For players who were caught up it was an amazing quest, but for a player like me who wasn't yet, the quest was placed directly after the Liyue Archon Quest which doesn't make any sense. It felt like you just defeated Osial and completed Liyue and now I had to defeat Beisht who apparently according to Ningguang 'Beidou warned her months ago' which doesn't make any sense. Also in the order I was forced to play this quest, it feels like it didn't come out this year but before Inazuma.

I love GENSHIN and I don't care how many people out there despise Genshin I still going to play it till the end of journey. Ive Been call pedo cause playing Genshin and that's so sick. I love the open world concept, story, character, ost, playstyle etc. Looking forward for more in the future ✨
As the only one left who is active between me and my friends (who stopped playing last 2021) I'll still going to continue playing this game until the final story for their sake, cause I loved playing this game and I'm not regretting playing this game that they referred to me back at 2020 🥰 cheers to a great 2022 this year 😘

I'm not gonna regret playing this beautiful game. I think so far this is the best game I've played my entire life. Even though in game there's no such thing to do, but I always wait the story and cut scenes because Hoyoverse/Mihoyo never fails the story plots

Can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I entered the world of Teyvat. I started playing on Dec 26, 2021 yet I’ve downloaded this in May 2021, procrastinating as I don’t play rpg games. How I regret not starting this game much sooner, it’s so pretty and raised my standards in games.
Still can't believe we got all this in the same year. Like.. my most anticipated character? Wanderer? And such beautiful places like Enkanomiya, The Chasm, and Sumeru? This year was so great, I'm looking forward to seeing what we'll get in 2023.
seeing the sumeru archon quest cutscenes side-by-side like this gave me the chills. they really went all-out with the most recent archon quest and im so happy they made such a cohesive and flesh-out story after inazuma. i love it so much and i expect the quality of the future archon quests to even be better
this brought back lots of memories, especially one where I hated myself the most for being such a weak friend after losing an almost 3 yrs of friendship. throughout the days, weeks & months I was in that state, I realized all my mistakes & is gravely reflecting on it. Genshin Impact was with me through all those days & I thank them kindly for making such an amazing game which helped me go through those days. Here's to more years to come, Hoyoverse & Genshin Impact.
a lot of people hate on genshin for various reasons, but it is one of my favorite games and will always shine for me. from the defense of liyue, ei and makotos story, the fall of enkanomiya, and the indroduction of sumeru, this year was amazing ♥

What a great year with Genshin. The cutscenes this year were all so good, Liyue cutscenes being my favourite but Sumeru is slowly becoming my favourite as well. I teared up on so many of them, especially on Yun Jin's performance, and the 2.7 Chasm quest. All these are so unforgettable.😭Best things that happened this year in Genshin: WInter nights lazzo, Genshin anime, 9:47 my awakening for liking Candace cause of her trailer music.
This is too much nostalgia, I still remember the time we met Scara for the first time in the event, and then when Inazuma was revealed, it was so hype when Raiden was shown😭
@@tyzo4291 I mean, they've already done the main region stories for Monstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru in the span of two years. They've also done world building story events and multiple Interlude Chapters within this same time span. Unless something major happens to slow down production, I see no reason why Fontaine, Natalan, Snezhnaya, and the elusive final chapter (region?) can't be done within the next span of 2-3 years. So, if anything, the main story might be finishing up around 2025.

4:00 The Chasm arc woud be the best for me, from the trailer music it gives you goosebumps feeling, and the tragic fact why these hilichurls wear mask.... next is the quest of nameless yaksha arc made me so emotional, especially the scene where Xiao did tried to sacrifice himself and a bit of Bosacius's memories 😭😭

Thank you for making me cry, this has been a good year for us genshin players. As a 1.0 player it still amazes me how far we’ve come in this world, back then we were so amazed at how big liyue was, but it was actually small compared to inazuma and sumeru. No regrets being an active player up until now, tho i admit i hope they raise the AR cap soon since it’s kinda lonely being stuck at 60 for months already 😂 Good video as always. Keep it up!❤
It was a great video showcasing all of our adventures, but at the same time. Every time you showcase a tense scene. Example being cyno and alhaitham fighting you cut away in the middle of the fight to showcase something entirely not tense. Like Tighnari waking up from his dream in his character teaser. If you want to remake this video for 2023, next time just let the tense scenes play out and then switch or if your going to switch off a fight, find a way have the scene be devoid of people and then switch from them to new people. Just a editing tip you don't have to take.

To think the year started with leviathan and ended with the wanderer.. And that's IMO the least important things because i still think that the 2 grand quests of sumeru ANd the chasm are just insane additions.
honestly cant believe its been 2years in this account since i played genshin. like literally i started on 10dec 2020.( tried to play it when it got released but my old phone sucked and i lost the account so on 9dec i got a new phone, its my bday then i created a new account) it only has just occured to me how much genshin has been through with me. ive changed so much during these two years, finished a entire national exam… made new friends, developed a new sense of self, became more confident… and genshin was there with me the whole time, sort of comforting me when im stressed. genshin is like a second world to me and it helped me gain balance between studies and leisure. thank you so much to genshin

Sumeru's first archon quest and Enkonomiya is proof this game is improving in narrative and as a live service. Finally entering the Chasm was also a highlight for me. What an amazing year.

Man.... I didnt even know that there was sooo much content this year! From Liyue, to inazuma, to sumeru and then mondstadt. They did all the regions and also added more like the fatui and enkonomiya. Like wow.... truly amazing and nostlagic. So excited for what's yet to come!!!!!

It's one of those games where i wished i played sooner. Tried the game for the first time around the time it was released but i got overwhelmed and dropped it. Only when i tried again this year that i fully appreciate this beauty. Thankfully its fully playable in mobile otherwise i wouldn't enjoy it this much

The yakshas story as well as Shenhe's were already very good, but you get to Sumeru and it's just so really incredible, specially when comparing it to the previous region Archon Quests.
Nahida herself is imo the best written character in the game and just from watching these glimpses at her story u can feel myself tearing up. Great job man.
I can only hope Fontain and onwards is just as good as Sumeru was

Can't believe this happened in one year
Nahida and greater lord rhukkedevata at 13:29 has got to be the saddest but best part of this year in genshin story, the amazing increase in writing quality has been great. also absolutely loved all the Aranyaka quest in Sumeru, definitely a highlight

If I really think about it, this game has had the best content this year. At the moment you couldn't appreciate it but it has collectively been a enjoyable experience
Tbh the Jade Chamber quest wasn't handled well. For players who were caught up it was an amazing quest, but for a player like me who wasn't yet, the quest was placed directly after the Liyue Archon Quest which doesn't make any sense. It felt like you just defeated Osial and completed Liyue and now I had to defeat Beisht who apparently according to Ningguang 'Beidou warned her months ago' which doesn't make any sense. Also in the order I was forced to play this quest, it feels like it didn't come out this year but before Inazuma.
Dang, i started genshin in 1/1 amd this is like a rewind that suits me
A little sad that it didn't win the game awards for best mobile game but it's ok, this game impacted me the most, that's a lot for me

I love GENSHIN and I don't care how many people out there despise Genshin I still going to play it till the end of journey. Ive Been call pedo cause playing Genshin and that's so sick. I love the open world concept, story, character, ost, playstyle etc. Looking forward for more in the future ✨

gods i will never get over just how good the shenhe vs beisht cutscene and soundtrack are. chills every time (also the ningguang "on our strength alone" part and literally all of lantern rite)

I'm not gonna regret playing this beautiful game. I think so far this is the best game I've played my entire life. Even though in game there's no such thing to do, but I always wait the story and cut scenes because Hoyoverse/Mihoyo never fails the story plots

Can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I entered the world of Teyvat. I started playing on Dec 26, 2021 yet I’ve downloaded this in May 2021, procrastinating as I don’t play rpg games. How I regret not starting this game much sooner, it’s so pretty and raised my standards in games.
Still can't believe we got all this in the same year. Like.. my most anticipated character? Wanderer? And such beautiful places like Enkanomiya, The Chasm, and Sumeru? This year was so great, I'm looking forward to seeing what we'll get in 2023.

seeing the sumeru archon quest cutscenes side-by-side like this gave me the chills.
they really went all-out with the most recent archon quest and im so happy they made such a cohesive and flesh-out story after inazuma. i love it so much and i expect the quality of the future archon quests to even be better
this brought back lots of memories, especially one where I hated myself the most for being such a weak friend after losing an almost 3 yrs of friendship. throughout the days, weeks & months I was in that state, I realized all my mistakes & is gravely reflecting on it. Genshin Impact was with me through all those days & I thank them kindly for making such an amazing game which helped me go through those days. Here's to more years to come, Hoyoverse & Genshin Impact.

a lot of people hate on genshin for various reasons, but it is one of my favorite games and will always shine for me. from the defense of liyue, ei and makotos story, the fall of enkanomiya, and the indroduction of sumeru, this year was amazing ♥
I started playing this past February and I am so enamored with this game! It's everything I could ever ask for in a story and the fact that so much has happened this past year blows my mind. I can't wait to see what 2023 has in store!

What a great year with Genshin. The cutscenes this year were all so good, Liyue cutscenes being my favourite but Sumeru is slowly becoming my favourite as well. I teared up on so many of them, especially on Yun Jin's performance, and the 2.7 Chasm quest. All these are so unforgettable.😭Best things that happened this year in Genshin: WInter nights lazzo, Genshin anime, 9:47 my awakening for liking Candace cause of her trailer music.
This is too much nostalgia, I still remember the time we met Scara for the first time in the event, and then when Inazuma was revealed, it was so hype when Raiden was shown😭

@@tyzo4291 I mean, they've already done the main region stories for Monstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru in the span of two years. They've also done world building story events and multiple Interlude Chapters within this same time span. Unless something major happens to slow down production, I see no reason why Fontaine, Natalan, Snezhnaya, and the elusive final chapter (region?) can't be done within the next span of 2-3 years. So, if anything, the main story might be finishing up around 2025.

4:00 The Chasm arc woud be the best for me, from the trailer music it gives you goosebumps feeling, and the tragic fact why these hilichurls wear mask.... next is the quest of nameless yaksha arc made me so emotional, especially the scene where Xiao did tried to sacrifice himself and a bit of Bosacius's memories 😭😭

Thank you for making me cry, this has been a good year for us genshin players. As a 1.0 player it still amazes me how far we’ve come in this world, back then we were so amazed at how big liyue was, but it was actually small compared to inazuma and sumeru. No regrets being an active player up until now, tho i admit i hope they raise the AR cap soon since it’s kinda lonely being stuck at 60 for months already 😂

It was a great video showcasing all of our adventures, but at the same time. Every time you showcase a tense scene. Example being cyno and alhaitham fighting you cut away in the middle of the fight to showcase something entirely not tense. Like Tighnari waking up from his dream in his character teaser. If you want to remake this video for 2023, next time just let the tense scenes play out and then switch or if your going to switch off a fight, find a way have the scene be devoid of people and then switch from them to new people. Just a editing tip you don't have to take.

To think the year started with leviathan and ended with the wanderer.. And that's IMO the least important things because i still think that the 2 grand quests of sumeru ANd the chasm are just insane additions.
honestly cant believe its been 2years in this account since i played genshin. like literally i started on 10dec 2020.( tried to play it when it got released but my old phone sucked and i lost the account so on 9dec i got a new phone, its my bday then i created a new account) it only has just occured to me how much genshin has been through with me. ive changed so much during these two years, finished a entire national exam… made new friends, developed a new sense of self, became more confident… and genshin was there with me the whole time, sort of comforting me when im stressed. genshin is like a second world to me and it helped me gain balance between studies and leisure. thank you so much to genshin
