Very informative video! What if I write a lot of articles and I want to add events with goals for each articles? But the limit it's only 20 goals. If I want to track for example if peoples download a guide only the event its enough right?
Well if you need to measure more than 20 goals, you need to create Sub Accounts, and the set up is quite simple. You can easily add more Google Analytics account to your Google account by going to Admin -> click the select box in the Account section -> click on Create New Account.
I have pages I want to setup as a goal but they are not within my domain but I added Google Analytics code within these pages. Should I add the full url or just what is after /. I also have a page with unique ID, not within my domain and Google Analytics code cannot be added. Should I add the full url?
I have a button on my client's page that leads to an appointment booking website. I have no option to put Google Analytics on that page. How do I set a Goal for people to click the Book Now button that leads to that page on another website, please?
Hi Carolyn, you need to add the Google analytics tag to the header of the page. So, whenever someone clicks the button and gets directed to that particular page, the numbers will get fired in Google analytics. Thanks.

Same for emails. What if I want to redirect my readers on my website? I'll need to create only an event?
Well if you need to measure more than 20 goals, you need to create Sub Accounts, and the set up is quite simple. You can easily add more Google Analytics account to your Google account by going to Admin -> click the select box in the Account section -> click on Create New Account.
Yes!

Hi, you don't have add the full URL. You can add only after / and since your analytics code is embedded, it will trigger. Hope that helps!
I have a button on my client's page that leads to an appointment booking website. I have no option to put Google Analytics on that page. How do I set a Goal for people to click the Book Now button that leads to that page on another website, please?

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We reported this right away to the relevant department.
That irritating American accent.
But loved the content.
