Twitter for micro-texts yes, but researchgate for real scientific research.

I had the same issue. I think it now requires phone number verification to reduce fake accounts. I don’t think there is a way around it

Tweet goes to the whole world. But you can message one person too. I cover messaging to one person later in the video.
