In response to the title of the TSN radio segment in question, I believe Brady Tkachuk is under quite a bit of pressure to perform, but also that so many teammates of his are. This season IMO is for that team another postseason-or-bust one.

Brady is under no pressure, he has always performed offensively and answered the bell sticking up for his teammates and been a good captain. The goalies are the ones under the most pressure because Ottawa's goaltending was abysmal last year. If any one player is under a lot of pressure it's Linus Ullmark.
Hayes took in front a good point on Knies: is he the right guy to play Matthews and Marner?

Why not consider something like 3 games of Rookies, New aquires “maybe”, PTO’s, those kinda make the team or prove yourself guys” and then 3 games of the “vets”.
No more rookie on vet injuries and nonsense. Everyone gets reps in.
I'd trade Mitch to Ottawa for Brady and a 1st/top prospect.
Zero the guy brings it every night. Focus on Muskoga your better at leafs day to day analysis.
I think Chucky will be ok because he has a solid team around him this year which will make him that more explosive... He'll definitely be good on the PowerPlay.
Sens’ fans can only hope. Yes last season the Canucks improved their play dramatically when compared to the season before that. That said, Ullmark on Monday Eastern Daylight Time against the Habs at the Bell Centre looked shaky in net via having allowed 2 ugly goals. A win’s a win, but allowing three goals isn’t good even with that play haven’t been during the preseason. At some point, though, defence will have to be even better because as the Canucks found out two seasons ago, not having good defence can lead to disaster.
@@wainber1 man the sens are looking good mannn Ulmark is extremely on his game...just a little sloppy in the defensive end but the sens are looking like a power house and most importantly the PowerPlay is looking A+. Honestly I see the sens capturing 100 points this season.Only thing I'm concerned about is Ulmark needs a backup I would search 🔍 free agency one more time for a goalie at 1.99 G.A.A or at least around 2.20 G.A.A
@@Sinsthatsnever4given Thatcher Demko from the 2019-20 NHL season has started double-digit regular season games, with only that 1st season having featured his having not started the most NHL RSGs among goalies then under contract to the Canucks, and that had been when Jacob Markstrom had been on that team. Demko‘s adjustment from having gone to start 35 of 56 RSG‘s, during the 2021 North Division stint of the Canucks seemed to have been a smooth transition in terms of stamina, but the 2021-22 NHL season featured a dramatic increase in RSGs started to slightly over 60. To be fair, between the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, the earlier was shorter, having featured 56 RSGs per team to 82 during the latter of the seasons. Although the 2021-22 season featured the Canucks miss post and play by under 10 points, the same could not be said about the 2022-23 season when they would miss by 12 points. Two seasons ago Demko missed almost 3 months due to a series of injuries to various leg muscles, with no other goalie who had gotten to start at least 10 games having been very consistent. Defence wasn’t all that good but between Spencer Martin and Colin Delia, neither stopped the puck particularly well. TBD will be whether Ullmark, should he end up playing for the Sens anywhere near as many RSG‘s as three seasons ago Demko did, need to adjust, perhaps beyond what he’ll manage to handle.
@@wainber1 Really important to stay healthy especially around playoff time...I was used to seeing the C's with Reberto luongo & the sedin twins I believe they made the playoffs only for a Early 1st round exit... I think they made the playoffs that year but yes I agree mannn the goalie is starting to become any teams elevation & backbone night in and night out which I believe if Ulmark can stay healthy the sens are going to be dangerous.The sens seem like they can score any time with 4lines of destruction and with the addition of Yuhkumchuck he had a great pre-season Coach TG has a lot of mixing up to do and alot of weapons to play with he must feel like a lucky Coach.The sens seem like a backup goalie away honestly.
