A few years ago I got a voice message from an apparently elderly woman. She spoke at length with detailed instructions on Thanksgiving dinner preparations. I decided to call the number back to inform her that she had left the message at the wrong phone number. She was very grateful for me letting her know. Then we chatted for another 30 minutes! Fun memory!
That sounds like such a delightful memory! It's amazing how a simple mix-up can lead to a meaningful connection. I'm sure she appreciated your kindness in calling back, and it must have been such a fun conversation! These little moments with strangers can be so heartwarming.
