  • Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed todays video! Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to be of help in any way I can.
If you are interested in joining our Hannukah class here is the link to sign up:
    www.emunahashe...
    My instagram: / emunahashem
here is a written instruction on how to do netilat yadayim:
    Steps
prep an empty bucket and a cup filled with water the night before and leave by your bedside
    wake up
    say mode ani
    at your bedside
    raise cup with right hand
pass it to your left hand
now pour some water over your right hand
    entire hand up to wrist
now pass cup to your right hand and pour it over your left
repeat this process 3 times on each hand, for a total of 6 pours
    dont say a blessing
then you can get up and get your day going, get dressed and do what you need to and then once you are ready to get started with your morning prayers, do this whole process again in place that is spiritually clean (not a bathroom) do this process again, except this time you say the blessing down below as well. Stay tuned for the next video for the next step in your jewish morning routine.
Blessed are you, L‑rd our G‑d, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the washing of the hands.
(Baruch atah A-donay, Elo-heinu Melech Ha’Olam, asher kideshanu bemitzvotav vetzivanu al netilat yadayim.)
then dry your hands with a towel
Every morning this is the first thing a jew does after saying mode ani
The reason being that while the body sleeps, the soul ascends heavenward to recharge, this void allows for a negative spiritual state called tuma.
Upon wakening, doing this procedure of pouring water 3x on each hand removes these negative energies of tumah from your hands
Another reason is that In the Holy Temple, the priests would wash their hands before their daily service. Every individual is a priest in the temple of his or her home and heart.
Before netillah yadayim do not touch clothing, food, or any body part
No bracha may be said before netillah Yadayim
Do not say bracha in bathroom, if you wash your hands in bathroom, step outside to say the bracha

Wow, I’ve always believed exactly what you said about sleep being a sort of ascension to recharge but I’ve never heard anyone explain it before!

Dear Sister, I thank you for your detailed explanatory demonstration. I was aware of this tradition/ritual, but was totally ignorant of the “hows, and why’s”! Your excellent, reverent presentation has deeply assisted in the removal of at least a component of my spiritual ignorance. And I thank you for your Maternal guidance. שלום

Hi Liel, I always appreciate your videos. I just wanted to mention that “netilat yadayim” doesn’t mean “to wash the hands;” a better translation is “to uplift the hands.” Which falls right in line with what you talk about in your video. Further, it is very reminiscent of certain prayer offerings made in the Bait HaMikdash. Thank you, Eric

There is not enough for those who have been and are trafficked in any spirit walk. There is not enough for parents especially single Mothers who want their children free. What is there for those who contrary to popular opinion and I must emphasize opinion because I do not believe Baruch Hashem views this industry as OK. There are true victims who need fervent prayer and help I have yet to note happening . Is there any intercessory prayer for people going through what too many ignore, condemn?
