I think I am saved it’s just that the devil tries to make me doubt my salvation and makes me second guess myself and sometimes it blends together and I feel like I am not saved, but I have started to spend more time with God in prayer and study and I feel less doubt

4 years ago I was planning to kill myself on my 50th birthday, but then I learned it only takes 1 DAY to LISTEN TO N.T. Bible. In 1 day The Truth completely set me Free. I had been a homeless, suicidal, drug addicted, murdering, gay, prostitutes, with multiple personalities because I was kidnapped for sex trafficking as a runway teenager and my family never report me missing. I was a hypocrite in the Church for 48 years and "Willfully" sinning almost every single day, so I never experienced any lasting freedom through the Church, 12 steps, counselors, etc. Trying to depend on 5-15 feel-good verses every Sunday was never going to redeem my soul. 1ST JOHN 3:9-10 instantly put the Fear of the Lord in me, and I surrenders my entire will. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are!!! Now for the last 4 years I've been Completely Set Free of ALL anger, alcohol, depression, drugs, fear, insecurities, jealousy, loneliness, multiple personalities, porn, rejection, sexual thoughts, stress, unforgiveness, victim mentality, worry, etc... The Love, Joy and Peace that I get from reading my Bible everyday and knowing who Christ made me to be in Him, has made me the happiest person on the planet. I have NO desire for the things of the world anymore. I removed every uncleanly thing from before my eyes because Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out. I can't even watch TV because my spirit is so sensitive to the vulgar commercials. I can't think of a single sin that is worth going to Hell forever. I now know that it's impossible to sin.. unless we've thought about it for at least 2 seconds, and then we decide if we want to worship God through total obedience or worship Satan with our flesh. If I don't Want to live solely for Jesus now, then God will not Make me live with him forever. Another thing is that when we as Christians sin, we don't lose our salvation, but we break fellowship with God, but God also promises that He will forgive us when we sin if we confess it. 1 John 1:9

To the person reading this, please realize that while God loves you, if you are outside of Christ, you will be judged for your sins and punished for eternity in hell. You must repent, believe in Jesus, the Lord. Realize, MANY people 'believe' in Jesus, same as they 'believe(d)' in santa claus or whatever. that is not it. The Bible says unless you repent, to change your mind and turn from sin, autonomy, your perceived self-righteousness, and denying God, you will not be saved. This means you must believe in Jesus as He is revealed in the Scriptures, the Bible. He is the Son of God. He came to this earth, sent from the Father, to live a perfect and righteous life and give up His life as a sacrifice to save sinners. The only perfect and righteous life. That is God's standard, no one can enter heaven of themselves unless they are perfectly righteous. But only One was ever perfectly righteous and that is Jesus. He lived the perfectly righteous life that God requires as He is perfectly righteous and just and will punish all sin. Then Jesus, the Son of God, allowed Himself to be falsely accused and wrongly convicted of crimes He did not commit. He allowed Himself to be nailed to the cross by His very own creation, man. On that cross, Jesus, the perfect, innocent Son of God, took on Himself the entire weight of sin, the full wrath of God for the sins of all who believe in Him. He paid the price every believer owes. He took their punishment on Himself. Then He gave up His own life and died. Three days later God raised Him from the dead and He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God. He awaits to return to the earth to gather up to Himself those He has saved and to judge the living and the dead. All those who believe in Him, He gives eternal life. Those who do not will spend eternity in hell. No person can earn their way to heaven. we all fall short. God's standard is perfect righteousness. When a person realizes that they are a sinner, that they have committed evil against the holy Creator, God, have no righteousness of their own, and no hope to be saved except by believing in His Son, Jesus, and believes in Jesus, the Savior, that person is saved. That person is forgiven of their sins as Jesus paid on the cross the price they owe. And He credits them with His own righteousness. Jesus trades places with that believer. Taking on Himself the wrath of God they deserve and crediting to them His righteousness. There is no greater love. Jesus is Lord.
There are three kinds of people!! One is charge with the crimes of breaking God laws!! He is escorted into the presence of God , the Judge!! The Judge ask him whether he has a lawyer to represent him!! But he doesn’t need one !! He cares nothing about his crimes nor did he feel any guilt !! He doesn’t care about sins in his life nor did he care about anything of God!! The judge found him guilty for breaking God’s laws and sentence him to eternal separation!! The second kind came before the God and told God, Lord I have made many mistakes in life and I have done many wrongs BUT ever since I try my best to live right for you !! I try to do good!! I attended church !! I became a member!! I took my children to Sunday schools and I try my best to keep your laws! By my conscience of right and wrong, I depend and trust in my work to do good and receive forgiveness from you!! I believe that based on my performance in life of good things, you would accept me and pardon my past and future sins! God ask , did you seek a lawyer to represent you ?? The man say no God, I figure I represent myself because I have change and started to live right!! God reply ... As much as I would like to pardon you , I cannot!! You have broken my laws and is guilty !! You have no one to represent you !! No matter how good you change , you cannot undo the laws you have broken nor can you be pardon!! Only through the shredding of innocent blood 🩸 can I pardon you !! You are wrong in believing and trusting in your own goodness to be pardon!! You have not received and trust my offer of grace to saved you !! You are still guilty and I sentence you to eternal separation!! The Third kind came before the Judge !! He would not look upon the judge face!! God say ... I see you have someone to represent you as your lawyer!! The man say yes ... your honor!! I am guilty for breaking your laws in life and I deserve my punishment!! But I have heard of a lawyer name Jesus that could represent me and offer me a plea bargain and pardon my crimes!! Be it whatever, perhaps they're cheating on a spouse, stealing from someone, addicted to something, abusive, or now there may even be examples in the new woke culture of people 'waking up' to something like 'racism' or something (not saying it's a legit thing, just that they believe it). or perhaps false believers or non believers from other religions who are fooling themselves into a morality of some kind. So i think perhaps we may need to go a bit further than just being disgusted with sins. So the bit further i think is appropriate is the 'why' are they disgusted with that sin. are they disgusted with it because they regret it, are embarrassed, consequences, their conscience is bugging them, whatever, or are they actually disgusted with it over it being sin and that being sin against God. not just 'i hate this sin' but 'i hate this sin as it is sinning against holy God'. and ultimately, it is a disgust and hatred of all sin, not only ones we did. and i also think, the thing about that is as we continue in our walk, God will graciously point out more sins that we weren't aware of.
I really don’t struggle with sin that much. I am walking closer to God than I was before. But I keep on getting thoughts that I’m going to hell. I have accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and I believed that he died on the cross for our sins and I believe that he is the son of God. Yet for some reason I keep thinking that I’m going to hell. Everyone tells me it’s just satan but I’m not sure.

No. That isn't biblical. It is somewhat sorta almost logical to get there by going by the opposite, that a person who has no desire, as you said, is probably lost. but it's not appropriate to simply take the inverse and apply it when only the Bible has authority over that. and to use a logical example to counter the statement, people of 'other religions' have doubts and concerns and they're obviously not saved. But i think that's pretty irrelevant, and here's why. The Bible, Scripture, the word of God, is the authority for our knowledge. If a person has a lack of assurance, it is for what I think is a necessary reason. The Bible explains how to have assurance and ultimately, i think it is only by the Holy Spirit. Anything less than assurance provided by Him and there's no reason to have assurance. i think it is remarkably dangerous if someone where to try to silence or ease this fear by using anything unbiblical. i think the proper response, no matter what, is to seek the Lord with all your heart. to seek Him and praise Him and pray to Him and learn about Him. to abandon yourself and flee to Christ. to submit to Him and be His slave. to get serious and hate all sin. to love and honor God in word and deed and thought and desire. what a blessing it is to have a lack of assurance if it leads to a greater and closer knowledge and relationship with Christ!
Yeah, that's a good point. It's the same idea as people who question if they're LGBT, because heterosexual people wouldn't question their sexuality. So they're just naturally already LGBT, just like you're already saved.
We can never absolutely know until we stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ. Only Jesus knows if we are truly saved. We can have confidence that we are saved, but know one really knows except for Jesus Christ. Find the narrow gate and walk the narrow path.

Yes, Jesus is the narrow gate, but many self-professing Christians don't realize that not only do you have to enter through the narrow gate, but you have to also walk through the narrow path. For Jesus said, "Why do you call me "Lord, Lord", and not do what I say?" The narrow path is living in obedience everyday to the teachings of Christ.

There is a difference between struggling to stay on the narrow path verses practicing lawlessness because you falsely assume that we now have the freedom to sin because of Christ. Jesus never said walking the narrow road was going to be easy. As a matter of fact, it is a difficult narrow road to enter into heaven. Hence, that is why Jesus said, "only a few will find it." And yes, when Jesus said a few, that is exactly what he meant. I do not believe that God will cast anyone away if they are sincerely trying to walk the narrow road, even struggling along the way. But honestly, only Jesus knows whether or not a person is sincerely trying.

The Gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. It's very clear how we are saved. It's not a feeling we have, or what we do. Have faith(trust) in the blood of Jesus to cover your sins when you are judged, know that he shed his blood, died, was buried and rose again on the third day. Do not point to yourself to be saved. Point to Him. You will realize how beautiful our God is when you come to knowledge of the Gospel and what He did for us, it's indescribable.
How do you know? Our conscience is our knowledge, based on the truth of God's righteousness we must be taught at baptism, so that we can make a sure promise not to sin.
How to know your saved? The Gospel for salvation is found in Paul's Epistles in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Paul tells us to follow him as he follows Christ. After Christs resurrection, he came back and taught Paul the message of Grace thru faith, with NO works. If you think salvation includes your, works then you frustrate the grace of God. Obeying the words of Jesus is how you know. Its not knowledge, it's aligning your will to his. You can't do that unless God convicts you and gives you the desire to repent. Amen
There is a clear answer to this question in Romans chapter 5, verses 1-5 where Paul makes the statement that through Christ we are justified, deemed to be innocent and that certain things flow from that which are markers of the genuine Christian life. Then in verse 5 he closes the paragraph with these words, “and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” The words we translate “ has been poured into our hearts” in the Greek is talking about something that happened in the past at one point in our life and which has lasting effects. Paul is directing our thoughts back to the point of our salvation and we know this because that’s when we receive the Holy Spirit. He is our assurance. Also, this is an experience these Roman Christians can look back to, otherwise what would be the point of Paul referring back to it. How do we know we are saved? Because when we trusted in Christ for salvation and we’re justified we received the Holy Spirit and can remember the experience (maybe not the date and time) and our lives and our attitude to sin changed as laid out in verses 2-4. Look at it for yourself and see what God’s word says. God bless you as you do so. Something else. 4 years ago I was planning to kill myself on my 50th birthday, but then I learned it only takes 1 DAY to LISTEN TO N.T. Bible. In 1 day The Truth completely set me Free. I had been a homeless, suicidal, drug addicted, murdering, gay, prostitutes, with multiple personalities because I was kidnapped for sex trafficking as a runway teenager and my family never report me missing. I was a hypocrite in the Church for 48 years and "Willfully" sinning almost every single day, so I never experienced any lasting freedom through the Church, 12 steps, counselors, etc. Trying to depend on 5-15 feel-good verses every Sunday was never going to redeem my soul. 1ST JOHN 3:9-10 instantly put the Fear of the Lord in me, and I surrenders my entire will. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are!!! Now for the last 4 years I've been Completely Set Free of ALL anger, alcohol, depression, drugs, fear, insecurities, jealousy, loneliness, multiple personalities, porn, rejection, sexual thoughts, stress, unforgiveness, victim mentality, worry, etc... The Love, Joy and Peace that I get from reading my Bible everyday and knowing who Christ made me to be in Him, has made me the happiest person on the planet. I have NO desire for the things of the world anymore. I removed every uncleanly thing from before my eyes because Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out. I can't even watch TV because my spirit is so sensitive to the vulgar commercials. I can't think of a single sin that is worth going to Hell forever. I now know that it's impossible to sin.. unless we've thought about it for at least 2 seconds, and then we decide if we want to worship God through total obedience or worship Satan with our flesh. If I don't Want to live solely for Jesus now, then God will not Make me live with him forever. The true answer to "How do you know you are saved?" should be a real simple one based on the Bible, namely by grace through faith alone you're saved (Eph. 2:8-9) as in e.g. Acts 16:31 (AMP), "Believe in the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior and entrust yourself to Him and you will be saved," ... and John 3:36a (AMP), "He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him as Savior has eternal life, that is, already possesses it," ... plus John 3:15-16, 6:29, 6:47, 20:31, 1 John 5:1a, 13, etc., etc., etc. ... While behavioral changes and a hunger for God, etc. are a typical result following salvation, we cannot rely on fruit, works, behavior, performance, deeds, etc. as a sign of salvation, but rather only on faith alone in Christ alone, ... that's real saving faith. It's faith (trust) in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and that's it. Everything else (as a type of sign/evidence, etc.) as noble as it may be, is adding to the genuine Gospel of Jesus Christ. Salvation is of the Lord (Ps. 3:8) and He can save us completely to the uttermost (Heb. 7:25) and He will preserve us and He will sanctify us completely and He will do it (1 Thess. 5:23-24), even when we're faithless (after the point of salvation) He is faithful (2 Tim. 2:13) and He will complete the work that He has begun (Philippians 1:6). So we only point to Jesus Christ as our Savior as we have put our faith in Him as our personal Savior and we'll enjoy the results of entering into relationship with Him and now hopefully we mature (2 Peter 3:18) and grow in fellowship with God (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) so we can walk joyfully in the "good works" which God has prepared beforehand for us, not by our own strength/performance, but by letting Him live the Christian life in us, through us, and for us.

i overthink allot for example i say sorry and ask for forgiveness too god allot more than usual cause sometimes idk if its a sin or not for example if I get a thought of a bad word I say sorry and ask for forgiveness another example recently I was picking blueberries with my mom and I was throwing some of the blueberries towards her and I said something similar to ok that was the last one and then I threw another one so dose that mean i lied and constantly I’m typing in my notes every sin i feel i committed and i like repenting and saying sorry and ask for forgiveness but it gets frustrating when there are allot of things idk are even a sin that I’m saying sorry and asking for forgiveness for so many things and I feel like it’s the devil making me think I’m sinning but then idk if its true conviction of the Holy Spirit and even when I’m praying to god and telling him I’m a sinner i dont even tell him I know I’m a sinner i tell him I believe I’m a sinner because since I get doubts sometimes of his existence even tho I believe really strongly he’s real. Same, but you have to trust God. God is going to finish what he started in you. Ask for forgiveness always and release those thoughts in the name of Jesus. You might have a moral OCD. Jesus doesn't want you to trust in Him for better works of salvation (not sinning, donating, attending church more, etc). Eph 2:8-9 Ye are saved by grace through FAITH, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of WORKS, lest any man should boast. You must have faith that Jesus covers all your sin forever, 100%. This is the Gift and you receive it all by faith. Matt Chandler and any calvanist I've seen always rolls up his sleeves and takes a big inhale when answering "Gospel" related questions. It's a lot of work for these people in thinking and structuring verses and manipulating texts of their (false) gospel. Don't trust in him for how you are saved. Jesus did all the work so that you can have faith in Him.
Predestination is all through the Gospel. There is nobody that followed the Lord on their own. It's impossible. We are all dead. A dead man can't raise himself. What do you think the story of Lazarus was all about?!! God has always chosen us. He is sovereign. Adam, Noah , Abraham, Moses , the Disciples. He chooses us out of His grace and mercy.
This is not always true. 1. Abuse victims have deep issues with trust. One of the effects of chronic abuse is a development of a complete lack of trust in ANYONE. Someone severely abused will fear getting close to anyone, and that includes God. 2. People who are stressed out because of finances, illness, bad marriages, work problems will think less about God and more about their problems. 3. The way we do church is so unlike the first century. We sit in a pew and listen to a sermon. We do this for decades and just learn to be passive. In the early church everyone contributed to the growth of the church. Everyone had a gift. Today we don't use our gifts because we sit in a pew and are forbidden to use our gifts.
Because many "believe" but not in the way the Bible defines "belief". In James 2:19 the Bible tells us that the "devils believe and tremble", but we know they're not saved. Our belief has to be different from the belief that the devils have. My sister "believes" Who Jesus is but she is not saved. The difference is whether or not we've made that head-heart connection between what we know and what we need to receive into our hearts. There must be a turning away from sin (repentance) or we are merely paying the Lord "lip service" (hypocrites). If we've made Him the Lord over our lives and have received Him as our Savior, allowing our belief that we say we have to be the standard by which we live and breathe and think, if Jesus is truly our "everything" then we are saved. We'll still mess up...we all mess up daily...but we run to Him, as Matt has said in this video, and ask forgiveness....yes, we're already forgiven...but when we're saved we don't take our relationship with God for granted - we seek Him because we want nothing to come between our Abba and ourselves. :)
Linda Casablanca-Potter “turn from your sins” make Jesus “your everything” are not biblical terms. The verse says the devils believe that there is one God. Believing that there is one God never saved anyone. And Jesus didn’t die for devils he died for us. Believe means to rely on. You must rely on Jesus’ death burial and resurrection as enough to save you. You are trusting yourself to turn from your sins and to make Jesus the boss over your life to take you to heaven. You need to take your faith off yourself and put it on Jesus. Don’t get me wrong I’m for turning from sins but not for salvation.

4 years ago I was planning to kill myself on my 50th birthday, but then I learned it only takes 1 DAY to LISTEN TO N.T. Bible. In 1 day The Truth completely set me Free. I had been a homeless, suicidal, drug addicted, murdering, gay, prostitutes, with multiple personalities because I was kidnapped for sex trafficking as a runway teenager and my family never report me missing. I was a hypocrite in the Church for 48 years and "Willfully" sinning almost every single day, so I never experienced any lasting freedom through the Church, 12 steps, counselors, etc. Trying to depend on 5-15 feel-good verses every Sunday was never going to redeem my soul. 1ST JOHN 3:9-10 instantly put the Fear of the Lord in me, and I surrenders my entire will. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are!!! Now for the last 4 years I've been Completely Set Free of ALL anger, alcohol, depression, drugs, fear, insecurities, jealousy, loneliness, multiple personalities, porn, rejection, sexual thoughts, stress, unforgiveness, victim mentality, worry, etc... The Love, Joy and Peace that I get from reading my Bible everyday and knowing who Christ made me to be in Him, has made me the happiest person on the planet. I have NO desire for the things of the world anymore. I removed every uncleanly thing from before my eyes because Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out. I can't even watch TV because my spirit is so sensitive to the vulgar commercials. I can't think of a single sin that is worth going to Hell forever. I now know that it's impossible to sin.. unless we've thought about it for at least 2 seconds, and then we decide if we want to worship God through total obedience or worship Satan with our flesh. If I don't Want to live solely for Jesus now, then God will not Make me live with him forever. When a person realizes that they are a sinner, that they have committed evil against the holy Creator, God, have no righteousness of their own, and no hope to be saved except by believing in His Son, Jesus, and believes in Jesus, the Savior, that person is saved. That person is forgiven of their sins as Jesus paid on the cross the price they owe. And He credits them with His own righteousness. Jesus trades places with that believer. I believe that based on my performance in life of good things, you would accept me and pardon my past and future sins! God ask , did you seek a lawyer to represent you ?? The man say no God, I figure I represent myself because I have change and started to live right!! God reply ... As much as I would like to pardon you , I cannot!! You have broken my laws and is guilty !! You have no one to represent you !! No matter how good you change , you cannot undo the laws you have broken nor can you be pardon!! Only through the shredding of innocent blood 🩸 can I pardon you !! You are wrong in believing and trusting in your own goodness to be pardon!! Your Honor, you have made a time period of your mercy and grace , and provided forgiveness to all criminals to want pardon!! The Judge reply ... yes I have!! I gave the nation a grace period to have a lawyer name Jesus that can plea on their behalf for pardon!! God say .. I have see you have taken and received my offer !! Jesus the lawyer approach the Judge and say.. yes this man had come to me for forgiveness and pardon for his crimes!! The Judge to Jesus can you explain why he will be pardon!! Jesus Turns to the man and say... I have took the punishment for you breaking God laws !! I became the criminal and took your spot !! I was punished for your crimes and sins !! My plea bargain is my blood 🩸!! Only through the shedding of my blood can you be forgiven for breaking God laws! I die in your place for you and I was resurrected to give you eternal life as oppose to eternal separation ! My blood is more than enough to forgive and pardon you !! You are not guilty nor is you condemn by my laws!! God say... I am a Just and Holy God!! I must punish sin and crimes for breaking my laws!! But I am also Gracious and merciful!! Yes, i agree. but i think there may be something to be aware of here. I may be wrong. There are unbelievers who find themselves disgusted with their sin. Be it whatever, perhaps they're cheating on a spouse, stealing from someone, addicted to something, abusive, or now there may even be examples in the new woke culture of people 'waking up' to something like 'racism' or something (not saying it's a legit thing, just that they believe it). or perhaps false believers or non believers from other religions who are fooling themselves into a morality of some kind. So i think perhaps we may need to go a bit further than just being disgusted with sins. So the bit further i think is appropriate is the 'why' are they disgusted with that sin. are they disgusted with it because they regret it, are embarrassed, consequences, their conscience is bugging them, whatever, or are they actually disgusted with it over it being sin and that being sin against God. not just 'i hate this sin' but 'i hate this sin as it is sinning against holy God'. and ultimately, it is a disgust and hatred of all sin, not only ones we did. and i also think, the thing about that is as we continue in our walk, God will graciously point out more sins that we weren't aware of.

I really don’t struggle with sin that much. I am walking closer to God than I was before. But I keep on getting thoughts that I’m going to hell. I have accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and I believed that he died on the cross for our sins and I believe that he is the son of God. Yet for some reason I keep thinking that I’m going to hell. Everyone tells me it’s just satan but I’m not sure.

D H no I don’t indulge in that type of sin. I have an issue with lust just like any other but I’m doing so much better. I just realized that it’s not what I’m doing or what prayer I prayed. It’s about what God did on the cross.

Possibly. A desire to honor God, and obey Him, and follow Him, and repent and let go of your sun, that’s a good signal. I’d encourage you to seek God and obey Him with your life and your assurance of salvation will grow.
No. That isn't biblical. It is somewhat sorta almost logical to get there by going by the opposite, that a person who has no desire, as you said, is probably lost. but it's not appropriate to simply take the inverse and apply it when only the Bible has authority over that. and to use a logical example to counter the statement, people of 'other religions' have doubts and concerns and they're obviously not saved. But i think that's pretty irrelevant, and here's why. The Bible, Scripture, the word of God, is the authority for our knowledge. If a person has a lack of assurance, it is for what I think is a necessary reason. The Bible explains how to have assurance and ultimately, i think it is only by the Holy Spirit. Anything less than assurance provided by Him and there's no reason to have assurance. i think it is remarkably dangerous if someone where to try to silence or ease this fear by using anything unbiblical.
i think the proper response, no matter what, is to seek the Lord with all your heart. to seek Him and praise Him and pray to Him and learn about Him. to abandon yourself and flee to Christ. to submit to Him and be His slave. to get serious and hate all sin. to love and honor God in word and deed and thought and desire. what a blessing it is to have a lack of assurance if it leads to a greater and closer knowledge and relationship with Christ!

Yeah, that's a good point. It's the same idea as people who question if they're LGBT, because heterosexual people wouldn't question their sexuality. So they're just naturally already LGBT, just like you're already saved.
We can never absolutely know until we stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ. Only Jesus knows if we are truly saved. We can have confidence that we are saved, but know one really knows except for Jesus Christ. Find the narrow gate and walk the narrow path.

Yes, Jesus is the narrow gate, but many self-professing Christians don't realize that not only do you have to enter through the narrow gate, but you have to also walk through the narrow path. For Jesus said, "Why do you call me "Lord, Lord", and not do what I say?" The narrow path is living in obedience everyday to the teachings of Christ.

There is a difference between struggling to stay on the narrow path verses practicing lawlessness because you falsely assume that we now have the freedom to sin because of Christ. Jesus never said walking the narrow road was going to be easy. As a matter of fact, it is a difficult narrow road to enter into heaven. Hence, that is why Jesus said, "only a few will find it." And yes, when Jesus said a few, that is exactly what he meant. I do not believe that God will cast anyone away if they are sincerely trying to walk the narrow road, even struggling along the way. But honestly, only Jesus knows whether or not a person is sincerely trying.

After Christs resurrection, he came back and taught Paul the message of Grace thru faith, with NO works. If you think salvation includes your, works then you frustrate the grace of God. Obeying the words of Jesus is how you know. Its not knowledge, it's aligning your will to his. You can't do that unless God convicts you and gives you the desire to repent. Amen
There is a clear answer to this question in Romans chapter 5, verses 1-5 where Paul makes the statement that through Christ we are justified, deemed to be innocent and that certain things flow from that which are markers of the genuine Christian life. Then in verse 5 he closes the paragraph with these words, “and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” The words we translate “ has been poured into our hearts” in the Greek is talking about something that happened in the past at one point in our life and which has lasting effects. Paul is directing our thoughts back to the point of our salvation and we know this because that’s when we receive the Holy Spirit. He is our assurance. Also, this is an experience these Roman Christians can look back to, otherwise what would be the point of Paul referring back to it. How do we know we are saved? Because when we trusted in Christ for salvation and we’re justified we received the Holy Spirit and can remember the experience (maybe not the date and time) and our lives and our attitude to sin changed as laid out in verses 2-4.

4 years ago I was planning to kill myself on my 50th birthday, but then I learned it only takes 1 DAY to LISTEN TO N.T. Bible. In 1 day The Truth completely set me Free. I had been a homeless, suicidal, drug addicted, murdering, gay, prostitutes, with multiple personalities because I was kidnapped for sex trafficking as a runway teenager and my family never report me missing. I was a hypocrite in the Church for 48 years and "Willfully" sinning almost every single day, so I never experienced any lasting freedom through the Church, 12 steps, counselors, etc. Trying to depend on 5-15 feel-good verses every Sunday was never going to redeem my soul. 1ST JOHN 3:9-10 instantly put the Fear of the Lord in me, and I surrenders my entire will. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are!!! Now for the last 4 years I've been Completely Set Free of ALL anger, alcohol, depression, drugs, fear, insecurities, jealousy, loneliness, multiple personalities, porn, rejection, sexual thoughts, stress, unforgiveness, victim mentality, worry, etc... The Love, Joy and Peace that I get from reading my Bible everyday and knowing who Christ made me to be in Him, has made me the happiest person on the planet. The true answer to "How do you know you are saved?" should be a real simple one based on the Bible, namely by grace through faith alone you're saved (Eph. 2:8-9) as in e.g. Acts 16:31 (AMP), "Believe in the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior and entrust yourself to Him and you will be saved," ... and John 3:36a (AMP), "He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him as Savior has eternal life, that is, already possesses it," ... plus John 3:15-16, 6:29, 6:47, 20:31, 1 John 5:1a, 13, etc., etc., etc. ...
While behavioral changes and a hunger for God, etc. are a typical result following salvation, we cannot rely on fruit, works, behavior, performance, deeds, etc. as a sign of salvation, but rather only on faith alone in Christ alone, ... that's real saving faith. It's faith (trust) in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and that's it. Everything else (as a type of sign/evidence, etc.) as noble as it may be, is adding to the genuine Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Salvation is of the Lord (Ps. 3:8) and He can save us completely to the uttermost (Heb. 7:25) and He will preserve us and He will sanctify us completely and He will do it (1 Thess. 5:23-24), even when we're faithless (after the point of salvation) He is faithful (2 Tim. 2:13) and He will complete the work that He has begun (Philippians 1:6). So we only point to Jesus Christ as our Savior as we have put our faith in Him as our personal Savior and we'll enjoy the results of entering into relationship with Him and now hopefully we mature (2 Peter 3:18) and grow in fellowship with God (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) so we can walk joyfully in the "good works" which God has prepared beforehand for us, not by our own strength/performance, but by letting Him live the Christian life in us, through us, and for us.

Jesus is the Son of God, who did Jesus pray to and call his God and Father? The only true God, Psalms 83:18; Isaiah 42:8.
Matthew 24:13 says, you must endure to the end, THEN YOU WILL BE SAVED, not, that you are saved, and endure to the end. 10:22, Jesus is speaking the exact same thing, directly to his disciples.

Jesus doesn't want you to trust in Him for better works of salvation (not sinning, donating, attending church more, etc). Jesus did all the work so that you can have faith in Him.

This is not always true.
1. Abuse victims have deep issues with trust. One of the effects of chronic abuse is a development of a complete lack of trust in ANYONE. Someone severely abused will fear getting close to anyone, and that includes God.
2. People who are stressed out because of finances, illness, bad marriages, work problems will think less about God and more about their problems.
3. The way we do church is so unlike the first century. We sit in a pew and listen to a sermon. We do this for decades and just learn to be passive. In the early church everyone contributed to the growth of the church. Everyone had a gift. Today we don't use our gifts because we sit in a pew and are forbidden to use our gifts.

Because many "believe" but not in the way the Bible defines "belief". In James 2:19 the Bible tells us that the "devils believe and tremble", but we know they're not saved. Our belief has to be different from the belief that the devils have. My sister "believes" Who Jesus is but she is not saved. The difference is whether or not we've made that head-heart connection between what we know and what we need to receive into our hearts. There must be a turning away from sin (repentance) or we are merely paying the Lord "lip service" (hypocrites). If we've made Him the Lord over our lives and have received Him as our Savior, allowing our belief that we say we have to be the standard by which we live and breathe and think, if Jesus is truly our "everything" then we are saved. We'll still mess up...we all mess up daily...but we run to Him, as Matt has said in this video, and ask forgiveness....yes, we're already forgiven...but when we're saved we don't take our relationship with God for granted - we seek Him because we want nothing to come between our Abba and ourselves. :)

Believing that there is one God never saved anyone. And Jesus didn’t die for devils he died for us. Believe means to rely on. Yet our very Creator took that punishment we deserve on Himself because He is love. He suffered what we owe and offers to give us what we do not deserve, eternal life with Him in His glory. Deny Him and you get what you deserve. Do not be fooled. He is love. He is merciful and forgiving and patient and kind. Yet He is also perfectly just and righteous and will punish all sin. He is infinite in power and might. He is infinitely holy. and we sinned against Him. how terrifying it is to fall into the hands of the living God. Jesus is Lord. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess. Repent, believe.

I dont see how anybody can be saved these days.To many religions.Why did God allow this?

You have to find the true religion out of all of the other ones. Which one leads you to Christ?
God allowed it because His perfect creation accepted the lies of satan and God's perfect creation got corrupted. So Jesus had to come and give His life as a sacrifice for the world to reunite us with God.
Man chose sin over God, that's what happened.
But Jesus made our way back. It’s that simple.
Believe in Jesus as the eternal sacrifice for the sins of the world, the Lamb of God, and repent of your sins (STOP SINNING). Jesus Christ is THE ONLY way to the Father and eternal life.

@@Jesus_is_Lord_316 but its IMPOSSIBLE, as it says many times in the bible, to completely STOP sinning completely - Jesus was the ONLY human ever to not sin. So by your logic, 100% of living people, who will sin, and may accidently sin on their death bed, will go to hell. We are NOT under the old testament law anymore.
