About one and half years ago I watched your video of Shanghai and it inspired me to move back to China from the States. Now I work in Taikoo Li, the place you showed in this video I get to see it and experience it every day. It feels amazing, thank you!
Wow, this was really unexpected! I love this Taikoo Li mall so much, and I also ate some Guizhou cuisine in it last time. So glad to know that you're working here, dear friend! Hope you have a great working experience in Taikoo Li and have a great time in Shanghai!
Serious inquiry my friend. I live in Colorado currently but would love to visit/live in China but I don't speak the language. How would I go about getting over there? I hear it's very complicated as an American.
@@isaywhatiwant798 There are lots of western foreigners in China especially in big cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen…. You can apply for a tourist visa and use your translation app to get around in China. In big cities you will find people who know decent English especially younger ones.
We've been one month I China from Beijing to Hong Kong. Most beautiful places Beijing ( the vorbidden state ), Shanghai, Xian, Hangzhou, the region Guilin and Yunan, Kanton and of course Hong Kong.
I remember back in the 1990s 2000s china was a classic typical third world country. With old building, old infrastructure, old technology. If something was modern it was cheap quality Now since 2016, china looks like a mix of prime japan & prime usa on steroids lol. It looks very mega developed nation in advance for its time
In the 1990s and the 2000s it wasn't a third world country in the big cities, don't exsggerate. Shanghai and Beijing already had bigger buildings than most cities in the Western world by the 1990s. At most, it may had looked like a quite advanced second world country, never a third world country in the 1990s and 2000s. Shanghai would be the first city I would like to visit in China. So modern, picturesque, high tech and CLEAN(!) unlike a lot of cities here in the US. So many gorgeous places there and this night video captures it all well! 👏
Hi Max . Ty for doing that tour in shanghai so to show to the other countries of the world how it feels to be in shanghai . It feels like i am in a night walk tour with even if im not here (in shanghai) in reality. Love from Greece .
So this is what "The People's Revolution" looks like. Do you hear that rumbling? That's The Chairman turning over in his see through sarcophagus. What an inspiring qualitative leap beyond Western Capitalism!
A French friend, artist living in Shanghai "Huangpu District" Dantès Dai Liang 戴亮 and currently in China for his album promotion told me about this beautiful contrast between China and the West. I only know the side of Hong Kong in Guangzhou (Canton) where my professional life brought me a few years ago, a very beautiful province in diversity as well.👍👍👍
Hello Max! You are back in Shanghai! I'm glad! I've been waiting for a new video on the channel for a long time and now it's finally here! Pudong, Shanghai is a city that shows its financial strength in China is a city that does not sleep for days and nights full of life. I am very glad that you took a walk in the YU garden this time, this is my favorite place in Shanghai for a relaxing walk, I love this place! I've been there many times and every time I bought something there for myself. Thank you Max for this great night walk in Shanghai! 👍🔥🤎
