Stephanie and Taylor❤are like mother and daughter.
Your so right about that
Brooke wishes she had that kind of relationship with Steph.. And in the next episodes we will see how she tries to force that kind of relationship (as she's always forcing herself on Steph)
The same Ridge face for every occasion .😂
So beautiful yet grieving... I'm awe at Taylor
Yes very true
Ridge and the therapist nearly have matching haircuts.
😂🤣😅😂👍
If Ridge didn't already have a family, the actress resembles Ronn Moss enough that she could have played his characters mother.
Couple epis ago I suggested Ridge call the psych for himself to unlock some emotions. Glad to see he kinda listened to me 😂😂
But seriously.. Listening to Ridge confirms what alot of us have been saying.. He has been inept at playing the role of a grieving parent and he really doesn't know how to console his wife.
When he suggested to Taylor to go to St Thomas, I thought he was going to say that they'd continue looking for Steffy there, which I think might have been more helpful to Taylor and made her feel less alone and crazy.
In all that mess Taylor is ALSO upset for letting Stephanie down sayng she knows she is not acting like the perfect mother and wife she wants Taylor to be.
Taylor knows Stephanie is the strongest one.
Nobody of course is perfect, but I love the respect, the trust and the love they share.
I love Stephanie and Taylor talk. It's like good old times. Stephanie "fails" with Taylor every time she suggests her to fight for Ridge. I know that Taylor appreciates Stephanie warnings but, for her,
there is no need to fight if Ridge doesn't want her. Taylor has always rejected that kind of competition that Brooke loves so much for example ( more than the men she wants to be). And here she replied to her that if Ridge was weak enough to be tricked again by Morgan there would not be anything left to save about their relationship.
Great post!
Great observation! Taylor is not "competitive" like Brooke is. At this point that concept becomes just another burden to her.
@@TriniT21 ❤️
@@annieo6527thanks, another burden, right just like the one she is feeling about Stephanie when Taylor says that probably she is upsetting Stephanie .
Tridge went through so much together and then Ridge chose Brooke anyway….oh Bell jr. what have you done to them! When they hugged I actually shed a tear 😢💔.
Your so right about that
That's why I didn't watch
B&B anymore after Taylor died in 2002.
@@katherineyeung7937same here
@@katherineyeung7937💔💔😑😑
What an awkward union Dr. Reid and evil Morgan will become😂
Your so right about that
I’m dreading what’s coming with these two! I saw a little on YT video what they did to Taylor, but don’t know anything more about it! Horrible storyline 😡
@@jgoldfarb3 your so right about that it is a horrible story line
Isn’t it though? These writers made him into an awful character after his run-in with Philis on Y&r that first go-around
I think it's one of their better stories. It does grief well. Better than Kimberly's husband. Her losing Macy and so I'm going to go after her husband. Terrible story. This is a much better story. Better than B&B doing now.
Taylor's stubbornness always confuses her mind, weakens her, and pushes her in the direction of the enemy!
She's not stubborn.
She is grieving.
You shouldn’t have to worry about what you’re husband would do ,Incase another woman makes a play for him .
Taylor was right to tell Stephanie as much.
Stephanie doesn’t get it because she didn’t have a faithful husband in Eric.
She liked to put all the blame on the other woman.
I actually think the scene with Ridge and Taylor was good, character-based writing. The writing actually _addressed_ the way the actors are portraying their roles and made this part of the characterization - for example, we joke a lot about Ridge's "Ridge face" and here was Taylor calling him out on his lack of reaction. It was a _source of confIict_ between them. This shows how even an actor's weakness can be turned into a strength when the writing treats it right (i.e. makes it a feature of the character), and in this scene we see why RM is perfect in the role as Ridge. That emotional detachment is just what this scene needs as a contrast to Taylor's falling apart.
The way the writing incorporates HT's acting also works. She is believable but portraying _one_ emotion all the time, which works perfectly with Taylor being "stuck" in the denial/anger stage of her grief.
This scene, with two parents cIashing over their different grieving styles, felt very real to me.
You're right about the actors and the writers who know how to make them work somehow. That was Bell's senior skill, because HT and RM worked very well under his writing.
I have to say, I'm appreciating them in this first part of the sl. I didn't remember their scenes. I love conflicts and fights. The couple is not only the figures on a wedding cake. Taylor has always been the one who talks some sense into him and now she can't.
I guess this is the last engaging sl for Tridge.
@@babs4848 I agree. Ridge and Taylor are well cast if they are written the way Bill Bell intended. The actors work in the roles if the writing keeps them in character.
Pennywise isn't good at being a mom at all.
I tell u... She didn't account for the terrible twos 😂
Stephanie was completely right about her.
Happy weekend everyone 🎉🌴🎈💃Florida here
And a Happy Weekend to you too. From Melbourne, Australia 🦘🇦🇺
Thank you so much for this really great episode and I hope that everyone is having a great day too and everyone should have a great And safe weekend as well
That doctor might have a point by telling Ridge not to try to be strong… well, people mourn differently… but Taylor running away is not the solution, doesn’t end well…😩
Well, in the end, Taylor will be right with her feeling and find Steffy. If she had listened to the others, no one would have found her. Funny that Morgan didn't disappear out of the country with Steffy.
@@ahy4234your so right about that and I can't wait
@@ahy4234 that last part.. Whqr was Morgan's end game living in LA with Steffy? It made no sense that she didn't move away
Every time Eidge talks I have to check my speed settings and see if it’s on slow
Ridge *
The smart and right thing would have been telling the authorities but instead he helps Morgan to 😒🙄
Why does Stephanie have to go dictate what Taylor should be doing and how to deal with her grief? Just let her get through it in her own terms, even if it means Taylor goes away to be alone for while! Stephanie could help by taking the kids. Taylor’s existence doesn’t have to always revolve around the duty of being a mother!
All she's thinking about is Morgan making a play for Ridge. She doesn't trust her own dim-witted son. 😆
@@NewYorkNick0607 I replied but it didn’t go through….😝
@@Esi-741 I can see your point. The problem is that Taylor's always portrayed as a saint and "perfect". The minute she can't be that it's almost as if she's condemned for her imperfections.
I think she does have a point though. The children lost their sister and they are too young to fully understand the concept of death. If Taylor goes away now they might think she died too and it might send them into complete panic. It's better that Taylor is physically _there_ even if she has to withdraw and just sit in her bedroom all day, or go for walks on her own, or whatever. The kids will understand that their mother is sad but it won't be traumatizing the way her sudden disappearance would be.
@@annieo6527 But what about Taylor dealing with her own pain? She can't be good to anyone if she doesn't get herself together. It's not just about the kids. Adults need to care about themselves first.
Tim obsessed with Morgan and Morgan is obsessed with Ridge

Oh Taylor you're just getting ridiculous each day hhh still blaming Ridge because he didn't let you check up on the kids while y'all were on the boat lol
I guess it's more than her regret on the boat. I really think that she is angry with Ridge for the night with Morgan and her pregnancy
