Triumph America Custom and Ready to Ride Motorcycle. A few little mods to give it a personal touch. This is a family home video and is not for commercial use.
Peter, peter, peter.......ya blew it. Why didn't you crank it over so we could here the rumble of your new pipes????? Beautiful Job....one Triumph rider to another.
Old Vlog but Wow ! Good job, I as well rode dirt bikes as a kid then at 21 purchased a brand new 1985 Ironhead Roadster, rode it through my twenties , at 59 considering a return to riding, they’ve all gotten pretty big displacements it seems, this is perfect !
Hi Peter....All the best from Peter in Scotland, I finally done it and bought an America with 4707 miles on it, totally standard, so time in the workshop is called for....🤪🤪🤪😎
It's like your adopting and old but playful neglected dog LOL Cheers! Ive narrowed time my choices to a Shadow, V7 stone, Vulcan 900 or this, Never rode before but drive a stick and bicycle...
Great job, well done, just a couple of questions if you don't mind, after cutting off the mudguards how did you finish th ends off? respray? and are you considering a drive belt conversion? I just converted my speedmaster and the difference is amazing. cheers!
+taffrican Thanks for your comment. Grinder, filing, undercoat and touch up paid. The front fender is fibreglass so it was heaps easier. Don't know about drive belt but I'm tempted. Cheers mate.
TTP (Triumph Twin Power) in England. www.triumphtwinpower.com/ Those guys have spent years on performance tuning the 865. Of all the bits and pieces I spent money on, the best was dealing with TTP for the tune. Trust me, it is worth it.
Thanks for your comment Mark. Yeh, I like the Speedmaster but I don't mind a bit of chrome here and there on the America - even though it takes a lot more time to keep it looking good!!
Looks great, I just picked up a 2012 America and about to make very similar modifications. Where did you get that handlebar? I like that one piece riser! Sharp seat as well, goes great with that two tone.
Just purchased this bike from Peter! It is an absolute beauty 😊
