  • These are some of my favorite figs and most of the time some of these figs are looked over. However, I can guarantee that if you have any of these figs in you garden you will be so happy with the taste, size and overall quality!

I used to grow bananna in Seattle by using bubble wrap through the winter. It looks kinda silly, but it might save you pinching?
When I take cuttings from mine the sap somehow always gets on my fingers and I won't have full fingerprints for a spell.
    Happy Fall!

I live in 5A and have my new I258 sitting in my dining room by a window. It has 5-6 figs on it which have not started to swell yet. Do you think I have a chance of ripening any of these indoors? If not, should I just let it go dormant outside? Thanks

Those look excellent. So the partially ripened fruit can be a characteristic of new trees?

Nice video. I am interested in Violette De Bordeaux fig. Do you have cuttings or newly rooted VDB tree available now? I am from GTA.

I have a Pacific green fig tree that is fruiting now, but it’s at least 6yrs old and has not grown one inch since I put it in the ground in my orchard. What do I feed it? How often do I prune it and when?
I live in S. Oregon , zone 8 b. It’s the beginning of Autumn now.
