Holy pressure, looks like 4- 5k psi most ppl won't have that, but just that pressure alone will damn near clean the vehicle. If you had chipped paint especially on plastic part it would strip all the paint off. Do this with a 1800 psi unit and we can see a real result for a consumer or detailer.
The pressure washer used in this video was 2500 PSI and 4 GPM.
The higher gpm is probably what your noticing. Makes a significant difference over psi when cleaning vehicles, more gpm at the same or similar psi is what you want to go for
Question, why does he wash from bottom to top instead of top to bottom?
Because he is pushing the soap up and using it to his advantage to clean the truck
This is the touchless 2 step washing process, a little different than typical washing.
It's usually a low pH presoak done bottom to top - not for cleaning but just applying the acid. Then a high pH detergent bottom to top, again not for cleaning but just covering.
The 2 work together to neutralize the static bond that keeps road film on vehicles.
Then rinse top to bottom, removing the soaps.
In some cases it's top to bottom but specifically for fleets/road film and 2 stepping you want to cover without streaking - which can occur if you start at the top, especially on large vehicles like trucks and tankers.
What are you using to swap from the different chemicals?
We typically recommend using a few different systems. We have a 2 Step remote system, a 2 Step gun system, as well as some 'beginner' systems where you can swap without contaminating chemical storage.

I can see this being great for work vehicles that are super filthy, but i would never do this to my own truck. Pressure washer like that could easily peel or damage clear coat and paint

Its only 2000 psi pressure when u use this 2 step wash i even use my f250 with 4psi wash nothing is happening with paint
