I think on your website the max distance is 300 km. Not sure if this is real test or WLTP figure. I came across a video review on your electric xc40 that said at temp ard 20 plus if I am not mistaken with speed ard 110-120 you should be expecting only 70% of the WLTP. If that 300 km is WLTP, at 70% that would only be ard 210 km. With this performance it would be unattractive for customers in hot climate with literally no charging stations for trucks in between. Your trucks need to be able to do at least 700 km at 90 km/hr to be attractive.
Electromobility will play an important role for local as well as regional transport and the development of batteries and charging infrastructure will be important factors in its expansion. However, there is no one silver bullet solution available to cut carbon emissions. We will see a gradual introduction of alternative drivelines including battery driven trucks and gas driven trucks over the next couple of years. Electromobility using hydrogen fuel cells has the potential to reduce the need for batteries in heavy long-haul transport in the longer term.
I do not know whoever follows this channel is a manufacturer of a merchant 🤔
