Hubby & I had started the house together after I left military nursing and I spent the years after his death in 2005 finishing it, flower gardening and rehabbing wildlife. Money was very tight so I thrifted and sold antiques. Then, I needed to move. It’s hard to know whether to hang around the old area or try somewhere completely new. As you and your street friend reminisced, I realized no area remains the same whether you stay or go. Neither do we. You seem exceedingly self aware of your essential needs and life affirming wants. That’s a huge start. Remember, your “tubey” friends are with you every step of the journey if you’ll have us along. ❤Kerry
Oh goodness, what a hard time that must have been for you. Thank you for your kind words lovely and for sharing your experience.....I certainly feel the good wishes of my 'tubey' friends (I love that!). X
Those tears are probably grateful tears... for the happy times you have had in this place you have occupied for 18 years ... I agree about the frustration with solicitors. It took my solicitor almost six years to get back some of my money, when I escaped from domestic abuse. Apparently this was largely due to one solicitor leaving & thus passing my case on to a colleague. What on earth! In most other professions, when someone needs to take over something, there is no problem at all! I had to continually chase them & at the end of their feet dragging, needless to say, they had no problem at all in extremely quickly presenting me with a huge bill. Grrrrr! Good luck lovely Vivi 😊
Ugh, how infuriating! I often think, with these cases, what if I had done my nursing job so tardily? Answer......children would have died! It's beyond shoddy! I'm glad you got it sorted eventually. X
Morning Vivi, no need to explain yourself or apologize..anyone who has been through a house move knows what you are feeling . You go when YOU are ready . I have been debating a move for years but the thought is daunting …Ha ha!! After I retired many people asked me ( much to my annoyance) so what do you DO all day --that’s when I show them my calendar with most every square filled ( mostly appointments) . This usually usually puts a stop to the questions!! Oh dear Vivi- please take care on the stairway. I’m afraid you’ll lose footing ..cleaning the window..I’m sure one of the chaps would help you .. It’s a lovely space though and I’m certain you will have it done up the way you want it to be -I enjoyed the outing very much - You don’t need me to tell you how smart, able, disciplined and organized you are .,, you will be okay ! Have a good rest of the day ❤xx Hi Ron !!
Vivi, there will be another perfect little home for you when the time is right and you will love it as much as this one and not have all those stairs to worry about, maybe even a little garden! Moving is a big thing, especially on your own so you are bound to feel a bit emotional. Big hugs lovely lady xxx
Vivi, I had a feeling you might get a bit teary 🥺 I paused the video and came back later. I wanted to hug you 🫂 and present you with a cake to share after your yummy soup. These emotions are so real and valid. We did a big home move a few years ago and although it was a positive move this time, and the start of new things. It very much marked an end of chapter in our lives, which was extremely emotional. We are here for you, whenever you need to chat, hope the organising of the trades people goes well 🤞 Lots of love and hugs 🥰 x
Thank you so much lovely. Hmm, I think it will be a bit of an up and down time with emotions......but it's ok......all part of the process I guess. Hugs, cake and soup make it easier. 😉
Yay... the lease is cleared. Not just a stone, but a whole boulder must have fallen from your heart. I'm so happy for you. So, now I'll continue watching the video. ❤❤❤ And what? Is your move not going fast enough for some people? It's YOUR!!!!! move, and not that of any other person. You should remind yourself of this whenever necessary. And you definitely don't have to apologize for the fact that everything takes time.
Oh VIvi take your time and move at the pace that is best for you, physically and emotionally. It will happen at the right time. I find that when I rush to get everything done quickly, the bottom always falls out. That's a signal to slow down.
I wish I could give you a big hug, Vivi. Hang in there. You tackle things one day at a time and do the best you can. The move is looming over you. So many things that need to be fixed and organized before it can happen. You can do it and will do it. Shedding a tear when you feel overwhelmed is human. This is what I love the most about you and your channel - being honest and keeping it real. I am sending you lots of virtual hugs and lots of positive energy.
Wow, I enjoyed this episode of "Vivi's Life" the most of all so far. I'm excited for your next step, and I know, it's scary - I'm single woman myself and sometimes moving and "fixing" life is very overwhelming. But one step at a time and you will get there :) And you are very well organized when comes to this move, it's seems that you think about every detail.
Awhhhh Vivi..... I do not understand for 1 minute why someone thinks that your move is any of their business and your timeline . You do your life at your pace Vivi. I know you do. ❤❤ There are so many things that go into moving on top of your sister last year. . ❤
I would put in a small corner shelf on the right hand side with a trailing plant then a thin shelf under it going to the window with plants on ,i wouldn't put a table there as it would make the landing look to small xx
Emotions have a habit of creeping up on me too !! It’s good that they appear though ,you’ve had quite a lot to contend with what with one thing and another.Take care ❤
Dear Vivi, as a long term viewer, videofriend and also "getting olderer" with you lol, I will strongly recommend: sell the flat and leave London/South behind for others to enjoy. Broather your house search further, so you can buy cheep, but lovely place and leve yourself with cash for your older days. London/South is crazy expensive, one of the most expensive cities on planet, so prioritise what you actually need. Shop, post office and GP you can find everywhere, and with your bubbly personality you will meet new people. UK is not only south, beautiful places and beaches are all around, as its island lol😅, and you can buy 4 houses at the price your flat in other parts. Yes you can 😂
Its surprising how hard it is to leave somewhere even when its no longer suitable. We are actually leaving our cottage this year , delayed a year if you remember Vivi as i got cancer . All our old neighbourhood friends have either died or moved away. Its time to go, but i know how emotional you must feel, the memories are there in every wall beam and cupboard. Take your time my friend, move when you feel ready xx
So pleased for you that you finally have the lease! A little chair in the corner on the landing with a tiny bookshelf might be sweet so it looks like a reading nook? x
One step at a time, Vivi. It is such a shame your flat is top floor as it is really lovely and I'm not surprised you don't want to move. It is stressful moving, not knowing where you're going (I'm in the same boat). Viewing some places takes that fear away a little bit I've found. You found a gem with where you are now, made it into a home, and I'm sure you'll do it again. Actually, what keeps me going a bit is that you found that lovely flat and it gives me hope I'll find somewhere that I love or at least like.
🩷 Bless…. 24 years in your lovely flat!!! Well done!!! The house that Vivi built X Nice you are doing your move according to your schedule. Means a lot. Such a massive change. Congrats with the lease. Sending shiny vibes 💫
Afternoon Vivi, I totally agree this house move is your move and no one else’s. Yes you need to keep pushing the move forward but it should be at your pace. The move has to right for you. I have moved house on my own twice since I was widowed. The first move was to down size so much more complicated and strenuous. Because I was in a hurry to get moved which led to the property I bought was not the right property for me which led to me having to move again. This move was a little easier because I had already down sized but was still hard work. I total agree that legal bodies move slower than snail pass and they do not communicate. The last property I bought took 8 months to complete and the only people involved in the purchase was myself and the seller. Now you have got your lease sorted you will hope fully be able to move things forward.
Vivi, closing a chapter in our lives can be hard but look at it as an adventure. The right place is out there for you, I know it. Change is good sonetimes and once you move you can get put on a list to get your knees fixed. A win-win. Chin up sweetheart. Glad you are getting warmer.
I moved to another state 10 years ago. It is very hard adjusting, especially for an older person. Sometimes, it just has to be done. Wishing you the best.
Viv, take a deep breath. Life can be really overwhelming for even the simplest of things. Your normal, moving house is pretty well on the top of the pile when it comes to stress, when You get a few more things sorted out, Your stress monkey will jump off of your shoulders and You will be able to relax and sleep properly. Been there and done that lol : ) have a chubbily tomorrow Viv, You deserve it. love from Highlands of Scotland x
Loved meeting Ron! What a lovely guy. I have moved 4 times from homes and numerous apartments. Each one occurs in its time. As a fellow knee challenged person (I now have 2 new knees but am still post surgery on one and doing physical therapy) I definitely understand avoiding stairs in your new place. Luckily my current and forever home has2 steps to enter and space for a ramp should I need that at some point. I strongly concur with your plan to get a first floor home. Also the free bus pass is excellent idea. You hang in there, all moves have moments of irritation as well as sadness. You feel how you need to. Sending you love💕
Hi Vivi! I definitely support you getting out of the house more often. Meeting up with neighbors could lead to secret property information such as someone's died, looking for a roommate, etc. I finally found one person who could do painting, carpentry, and repairs through a personal referral. He did everything until he fell off a ladder at someone elses house! Anything to do with a ladder, hire someone. I can't even change light bulbs in my 10 foot ceiling because I get dizzy. I know things are coming together for you. Just breathe.
Hi Viv, Thank you for your video. As you said, you can't just move, there is so much you need to sort out especially getting all your requirements ticked, because once you've moved that's it, you can't up and move again if you don't like it there. So moving must be a careful procedure. As for that velux 38:43 careful, and there's no way you could paint the stair/hallway not with all those stairs. Property so pricey where you are but thats London for you. Nice to meet Ron. I loved the muriel Take care Viv xxx
Sending you a big hug Vivi. Just know there's the most wonderful property just waiting for you. Turn of events, synchronicity, and good timing. Of course keeping the fingers firmly crossed for you. 💕🙏
Dearest Vivi, moving will be a stressful, tiring and emotional time but you are strong, capable and a survivor, you will be ok. I understand its more daunting when you're you don't have a partner to lean on, believe me I get it. I sold two houses (mine and my Mom's) to buy a house during lockdown. I was a single Mom of 1 teenager and fulltime carer for my Mom and my older sister both whose health was deteriorating. It was the most stressful time you can imagine. 1 year later my Mom passed, she was my best friend. Today, I look back and wouldn't change a thing, home is where you make it. You will be ok Vivi and when its all sorted and you're in your darling little cozy nest, you can breath a sigh of relief and peace. Consider yourself hugged.
Bored….phew, and breathe. I sincerely hope you find the perfect place to allow yourself a bit of boredom but I know you will just pack it with more goodies for us yaaay. Bless you Viv.
Miracles happen…your new lease came through!!! One day at a time Vivi…it will all come together as it should and you will find a new place. Love the photo collage mural of the greyhound. Your hood is so quaint, welcoming and full of characters with stories to tell. Remember you have a posse out here who can offer support and love as you navigate this time of change. Glad the weather has warmed up! 🌟❤️
Thank you so much lovely......I do feel the support and positive vibes here.....it's wonderful. Hahaha....meeting Ron made me forget to tell the story behind the mural........another day maybe. 😉
I'm glad you are moving forward with things, that's the toughest bit. Once the momentum kicks in you will ROCK this!! ... and don't worry about the fiddly details in the hallway, leave it too the builders, that's their job. Onwards and upwards!!! 💗💗✨✨🌻🌻👆🏻👆🏻🌼🌼
Another wonderful video Vivi, the prices really are crazy in London, hope you can find what your looking for without having to go to far afield . Please ,please be careful when your climbing about doing all your DIY ,etc. So glad you finally got the lease sorted.
Lovely Vivi..... this is one of those times you may need to adjust your priorities to accomplish the larger goal that is of utmost importance. It's a temporary adjustment....but will lead to great things.... a place with your own little garden : )
Yay🎉🎉the lease…. Brilliant. Loved this video Vivi, as list kinda gal too I was thoroughly enjoying you going through yours. A big hug to you Vivi. It was a life changing year for you last year bless you and to some extent the same applies to this year. I think we get through these events the best we can. Thinking of you dear Vivi and know that you have us all rooting for you.😻🙏❤️
Big hugs, Vivi. Moving house is a big life event and I can fully understand your tears. But you'll take your happy memories with you and make new happy memories wherever you end up.
It will all be ok Vivi, you just don’t know the good bit of the story yet. I’m sure it will be something along the lines of you finding that place with the little garden that makes your heart sing. We’re cheering you on x x
It would be lovely to live in a neighborhood like yours, and I can see your connection to it. When you live in one place so long, it's actually quite scary and overwhelming to make the decision to move on and then even more scary to actually do it. You have to push on and it will become easier. I speak from experience since I just celebrated one year in my new small apartment after living in a large 4 bedroom house. It took us a long time to wrap our heads around making that kind of a move, but once we got going, it got easier and now I have no regrets. We're living in another great neighborhood with new people to meet and make friends with. Congratulations on getting your lease. Part of your emotions could just be dealing with the loss of a part of your life because of your knees. You don't want to move, your knees are forcing the move. I dislike how my health has changed my life, but I've learned to take each step as another chapter in the boook of life. So happy for you to be starting your move and I have faith you will find the perfect home to move to.
So happy for you, that you have finally got the lease sorted. So exciting to now be able to finish getting the flat prepared for putting it on the market. Look forward to following you on this journey.
I had those feelings when I left Florida after 54 years to move to Tennessee. Around 3 months later covid hit and I was like I want to go back home & what have I just done. But now it was the best thing in my life. The process was very overwhelming for me, looking back I don't know how I did it truthfully. Those prices are so crazy Vivi, take your time darlin.
We’ve just done all those little annoying jobs that we never get around to unless we’re selling lol 😂. We sold to the first person who viewed and are now looking in Dorset for our forever home! It’s ironic that we get our homes just perfect and then leave ha ha . We are viewing a few this week so hope to be on the move soon, if everything goes smoothly. My priorities are a new soap studio and a raised bed garden……so exciting! Take care Vivi , it’s great that you’ve finally got the leasehold sorted woohoo 🎉. Xxx
Hi Vivi 👋 have really enjoyed your video I love all of them So pleased you finally received the deeds. Ron is such a nice man. How lovely to chat with someone while out. I don't go out much but I love a wee chat with nice people like that It makes my wee day. Look after yourself Vivi You are a lovely warm kind caring lady and I wish you all the very best for your future. If you can stay in your area love it will be wonderful for you.I can see why you love it.xx
Thank you so much lovely. Ach, one of the reasons I love it here so much is how friendly everyone is......it really does feel like a little village community. 😊
Oh, Vivi…you will find the perfect place. I know it is very overwhelming but just do one step at a time. Loved the little view of your neighborhood and would love a drink in the pub with you! XXX
I understand how you feel Viv. I suffer from messy mind and the feeling of being overwhelmed on occasions like yours. My approach is like yours. I make and prioritise the list and try not to touch things twice. Start the job finish it and move on is my approach. I wish you all the very very best. A new adventure for me is daunting but also full of hope.
Congratulations on getting the lease through... what great news.. you can move on now. I wish you lived near me , I have a chunk of Marine ply that would just do that cupboard. Aww lovely Ron, i giggled a bit at the end... I was listening rather than watching as you were rounding up..... Dinner, pee, risotto..... 😂🤣
You should be entitled to get some PIP for your mobility issues which would then lead you on to get other thing like a bus pass etc. see if you can get a letter from your drs for that. Heather
Dear Vivi. Perhaps I am wrong, as I am relying mainly on a hunch, but is it not the case that you have made spectacular changes in your life in the past? Perhaps this is overwhelming you. Maybe you think that this change too will be a total change in the life scenario? Meanwhile, maybe things will go more smoothly this time? Don't rush anywhere. Don't be afraid of anything. Your new home is already looking forward to having you live in it, although you don't know where it is yet. Sending you a big hug! ❤
PS. I hope my comment did not sound patronising. I am well aware that every change can be stressful. It helps me not to look at the whole picture (because that scares me) but at the tiny steps I have to take today or tomorrow.
Thank you lovely........I am excited about moving.....I can't wait to make a new place home.......it's just all the stuff in between that gets me a bit anxious..... 😉
Selling a home. Buying a home. Moving. Three separate and giant undertakings.....each is huge alone; doing all three is very, very difficult. Give yourself grace and time...things will work the way they should. God bless you.
All those feelings are perfectly normal Vivi. It is hard to leave a place you've been happy in. Wherever you end up will be the right place for you, and will happen when the time is right. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds! Take care lovely lady! 🥰
Hallelujah! At last your perseverance has paid off and the lease is off the to do list!! I’m so glad for you! Why is anyone hassling you to hurry up and move? It will all come together when the time is right.
So pleased your lease has finally come through Vivi 🥳 Even more to get on with now but you have a plan and a list and a reason why…. you can do this!! Fingers crossed for the bus pass too… it would make such a difference 😊
Tomorrow is another day! I'm facing the same thing with my place. Can't manage the garden anymore and can't afford to fix the house. Not sure what Plan G is at the moment, but I understand the wrench. I think people seem to be unfriendly in the CBD parts of big cities but the "ordinary" folk are friendly and helpful still. Love murals. Look up Wellington, NZ shark mural. Every time I go down I look at it because the sharks are so funny. It's to protest shark-finning. You do what you have to do for you. Big, big hug my friend.
Wow, and I thought prices were high in California! I’m kind of in the same boat, bad knees and stairs. My house is two levels with all the bedrooms upstairs. I bought back in 2011 and my house has more than doubled in value, but if I want to move I don’t have a lot of choices that won’t make my mortgage amount increase.
OMG the house prices are crazy. Here you can get a two bed cottage with a massive garden to be self sufficient, keep chickens and have outhouses and pay £100,000.
I am so excited for you, too, Vivi. Lots happening. I hope the doctor will help you with the application for a bus pass. I hope you have a quiet moment in the wee small hours dreaming and imagining your lovely new home that awaits you, wherever it may be.
I feel your emotion and pain about leaving your home. But it will be the best thing to be in a home where you can get in and out easy and I know change is always difficult but in this case necessary . We just moved after being in our home for 20 years because we wanted to move to another state to retire. We didn't have as much time as we needed to sell things declutter downsize. It all happened within 60 days our house sold so quickly! I felt so overwhelmed and rushed it was so stressful! At at least you didn't rush it and hopefully things will come together and you'll find the right place and it'll be the best thing for you! It'll be exciting once you find the new place! I'm excited for this change for you!
Such great news about the lease. Sorry it was such a hassle, but relieved for you! Youre getting things done. Leaving a home you love is hard. The bus pass could be the solution, allowing you to still be connected to the community you love. Just remember, you built your community of people by being yourself so you will do the same no matter where you land. When you get discouraged with the to-do list, keep the image of that garden outside your kitchen window in mind. Sketch it and post it on ur bulletin board even. You've got this and we're cheering you on! - Tricia in Vermont, USA
Not certain of your carpentry skills but a full wall to wall units with matching bookends boxes and one long shelf the full length of the wall like a library table. Each box with access doors. One to access the meter and the other for this and that like outdoor needs (galoshes, mitts, etc) it would be visually more one and custom built in. Never-ending the negative comments about the speed of which you move. Moves are a process and I for one am loving the journey with you however long. XO, Vivi!!
Big hugs to you Vivi. Take your time, girl, and bat that niggling voice off your shoulder! Very best luck and mojo for finding the perfect New Vivi Cottage :)
I've followed you since last year I'm 31 now I love your videos and your way of life. The move will happen when it's meant to be. Solicitors can be a nightmare 😢 hope you get it all sorted
Ps please don't apologise your move takes as long as it takes do it when your ready in your time whatever happens we will still be watching your videos ❤
In the road we live in (not me I’m alone in having a front garden not a drive) we always know when a house is going on the market cos they shove a sad looking bay tree by the front door and hang a garden centre hanging basket!!
Vivi, on your half landing I would forego a table and instead just use a few large urns/planters with tall plants that sit on the ground but produce height (maybe if your or any pals have some in their homes you could temporarily borrow while you sell?). Like at least a meter tall but more like 1.5 -2 m. You could use 2-3 of them to sit in front of the gas box to hide it. And then 2-3 in the opposite corner. This would leave that little window to let in any light to add to the stunning skylight/roof light. Just a thought. Heidi in Vancouver BC Canada
Thank you lovely.....yes, I was also thinking about just some groups of plants...a bit shorter than 2 meters though as they'd be out of the skylight. 😉
Could a grant be obtained for a narrow stair lift? Sorry if that is a daft suggestion. You've invested so much into your lovely home. Although I expect anywhere with you living in it would be lovely 🥰
I believe she has commented on this prior. Her stairs are for other residents as well so it would not work for them. I guess it would block their right of way?
Just a thought , you love your flat so much why leave you could get a stair lift ? There's always a way and much cheaper than moving . Take care good luck.
Looking at home prices can be so depressing especially in the London area. I don’t know how people can afford the high prices. You will find something. I guess flexibility is necessary. Moving is one of the most stressful things we do in life. I remember packing up dozens of boxes and bawling. It’s stressful but works out in the end 🙂🙂
The house move will happen, a few months here or there makes no difference. I believe in fate and that you will end up where you are meant to be for the next phase of your life - so stay chilled about it.
Don't ever apologize for not " moving fast enough". You owe folks nothing. This is your life, not theirs.
Hugs,Vivi. Moving is damn hard. I started bawling when you teared up. Didn’t want to leave my home either back in 2017. The country privacy and nature had been my energy, joy and solace. Oh goodness, what a hard time that must have been for you. Thank you for your kind words lovely and for sharing your experience.....I certainly feel the good wishes of my 'tubey' friends (I love that!). X
Oh for heaven's sake. You get to move when you're good and ready to move!
Treat yourself to an electric throw Vivi. Super cheap on electric and you’ll be as snug as a bug. No need to sit there feeling the cold.

Hi Ron !!
Thank you lovely. 😊
Vivi, there will be another perfect little home for you when the time is right and you will love it as much as this one and not have all those stairs to worry about, maybe even a little garden! Yay... the lease is cleared. Not just a stone, but a whole boulder must have fallen from your heart. I'm so happy for you.
So, now I'll continue watching the video. ❤❤❤
And what?
Is your move not going fast enough for some people?
It's YOUR!!!!! move, and not that of any other person. You should remind yourself of this whenever necessary. And you definitely don't have to apologize for the fact that everything takes time.
It's a massive relief both to have it and that I can stop chasing it now! Yay! 😀
Beautiful lady, thank you for your honesty 😊
Thank you lovely. 😊
Oh VIvi take your time and move at the pace that is best for you, physically and emotionally. It will happen at the right time. I find that when I rush to get everything done quickly, the bottom always falls out. That's a signal to slow down.

Nice folk on your trip out. Hard to believe the property price. I so hope all goes well for you, you so deserve a positive patch.👍
Thank you lovely. 😊
There's a beautiful little property out there for you Vivi just waiting to be loved, you're going to be okay. Thank you for another lovely video xXx
Thank you lovely. 😊
Yes you can 😂
Yes...but.....I like it here. 😊
You do what’s good for you when you are ready. Love the chats! Thank you Vivi ❤
Thank you lovely. 😊
Looking forward to the recipe.
Oh, I couldn't bear all that noise of a town now.
Good luck with your move lovely. Ach, yes, a wrench.....but I'm excited for both of us for the new adventure that awaits. X
So pleased for you that you finally have the lease! A little chair in the corner on the landing with a tiny bookshelf might be sweet so it looks like a reading nook? x
Yes! That was my other idea......maybe my little Lloyd Loom....
@@WhatVivididnext Ooh yes, that would be cute x
One step at a time, Vivi. It is such a shame your flat is top floor as it is really lovely and I'm not surprised you don't want to move. It is stressful moving, not knowing where you're going (I'm in the same boat). Viewing some places takes that fear away a little bit I've found. You found a gem with where you are now, made it into a home, and I'm sure you'll do it again. Actually, what keeps me going a bit is that you found that lovely flat and it gives me hope I'll find somewhere that I love or at least like.
Yay....let's keep that hope going between the pair of us! We will find 'the one'!
🩷 Bless…. 24 years in your lovely flat!!!
Well done!!! The house that Vivi built X
Nice you are doing your move according to your schedule.
Means a lot. Such a massive change.
Congrats with the lease.
Sending shiny vibes 💫
Thank you so much lovely. 😊
Oh my goodness, 8 months is bonkers! I'm so glad that's behind you now. 😊
Vivi, closing a chapter in our lives can be hard but look at it as an adventure. The right place is out there for you, I know it. Change is good sonetimes and once you move you can get put on a list to get your knees fixed. A win-win. Chin up sweetheart. Glad you are getting warmer.
Absolutely.......I can't wait to be on the other side of the process!😉
I moved to another state 10 years ago. It is very hard adjusting, especially for an older person. Sometimes, it just has to be done. Wishing you the best.
Thank you lovely. I hope you feel happy and settled there now. 😊
Dear Vivi, just believe that everything will happen soon, keep positive xxx
Thank you. 💖
Such an informative video, and I loved the guy chatting to you in the street - and as you say, highlighting how friendly Londoners can be. 👍👍
Aww, Ron.....such a nice 'geezer'. I reckon if I'd suggested a pint he would have been right in there. 😉
@@WhatVivididnext 👍😂👍
Viv, take a deep breath. Life can be really overwhelming for even the simplest of things. Your normal, moving house is pretty well on the top of the pile when it comes to stress, when You get a few more things sorted out, Your stress monkey will jump off of your shoulders and You will be able to relax and sleep properly. Been there and done that lol : ) have a chubbily tomorrow Viv, You deserve it. love from Highlands of Scotland x
Thank you lovely. 😊
Awww, thank you so much for your encouraging words lovely. I hope your rehab is going well. 😊
It is going very well!! Thank you
Hahah.....yes, I think my ladder days may be behind me.......when I was ding the kitchen ceiling last year I had a couple of proper wobbly moments! 😉
Hi Viv,
Thank you for your video. I loved the muriel
Take care Viv xxx
Cheers lovely......hahaha, I didn't get to explain the mural as Ron and I got chatting......a lovely random meeting. 😊
Sending you a big hug Vivi. Just know there's the most wonderful property just waiting for you. Turn of events, synchronicity, and good timing. Of course keeping the fingers firmly crossed for you. 💕🙏
Thank you lovely.......and, of course, somewhere to hang my wee artwork from you. 💖
Please be careful when you clean your window Vivi and make sure you tell someone that you are out there ! Xx
Will do. 😉
Wow, that was quite a time you went through! Bravo for managing all that lovely.......you give me hope. 😊 The hug was very much needed, thank you. X
Bored….phew, and breathe. I sincerely hope you find the perfect place to allow yourself a bit of boredom but I know you will just pack it with more goodies for us yaaay. Bless you Viv.
Hahaha....probably! Cheers lovely. 😉
It is your cottage in the sky, so light and spacious, no wonder you are in no hurry to leave. If only it could be moved to the ground floor! 😅
Oh I wish!!!!!!! 😀
I’m so pleased the lease finally happened Vivi, I love your swing tags when I buy from your shop. I need to have another look xx
Thank you lovely. 😊
Top tip. When dealing with solicitors don’t let 3 days go by without contact, let alone 3 months! Email, phone or visit on a regular basis!
Hi vivi you made me cry too sending hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 lv Irene 😘 xx
Awww, thank you lovely....and a big, squashy hug right back at you. X
Cheers lovely. 😊
Thinking of you dear Vivi and know that you have us all rooting for you.😻🙏❤️
Awww, that's lovely, thank you! 💖
Please don’t let anymore make you feel under pressure to move house do it in your own way in your own time ❤
Thank you lovely......absolutely, it has to be in my time. 😊
Big hugs, Vivi. Moving house is a big life event and I can fully understand your tears. But you'll take your happy memories with you and make new happy memories wherever you end up.
Thank you lovely. 😊
It will all be ok Vivi, you just don’t know the good bit of the story yet. I’m sure it will be something along the lines of you finding that place with the little garden that makes your heart sing. We’re cheering you on x x
Aww, thanks lovely! 😊
Thank you lovely....wise words. 😊
Saw you when the shed fell down. Hilarious, just the lol I needed. So thrilled to find your channel and to subscribe. xxx
Thank you so much lovely.....and a very warm welcome to you here. 😊
So happy for you, that you have finally got the lease sorted. So exciting to now be able to finish getting the flat prepared for putting it on the market. Look forward to following you on this journey.
Thank you lovely.......the lease is a HUGE relief! 😊
I'm so glad you are happy with your decision now....though I can imagine it was tough in the beginning....especially with Covid hitting too.
Thanks for the walk about. Sending hugs.
Cheers lovely. 😊
Xxx
Oooooh, fingers very firmly crossed for you! 😊
XXX
You'd be most welcome! The first pint's on me! 😀
Thank you lovely. X
Hahaha....sometimes it IS in that order. Awww, I do love how friendly it is round here. 😊
Oh what a lovely video😊💖💖💖
Thank you Milda. 😊
You should be entitled to get some PIP for your mobility issues which would then lead you on to get other thing like a bus pass etc. see if you can get a letter from your drs for that. Heather
Thank you lovely. 😊
House prices are crazy, I always found Londoners to be really friendly
Thank you! Yes! It does my nut when people from outside say Londoners aren't friendly! 😊
Selling a home.
Buying a home.
Moving.
Three separate and giant undertakings.....each is huge alone; doing all three is very, very difficult. Give yourself grace and time...things will work the way they should. God bless you.
Thank you so much lovely. It is all rather daunting....so I'm just trying to focus on one thing at a time......
You have it all in hand Vivi ❤❤ all will be well. 🦋
Thank you. 😊
Loved the video. I’m contemplating changing my home to something more suitable - daunting time. Good luck with your adventure xx
I recently got some offcuts from our local "hardware" store to make some shelves and do some repairs. Your "ironmongers" are great!
I love that shop.......a real treasure trove! 😀
You are on a mission and doing a great job!😊
All those feelings are perfectly normal Vivi. It is hard to leave a place you've been happy in. Wherever you end up will be the right place for you, and will happen when the time is right. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds! Take care lovely lady! 🥰
Thank you so much lovely. 😊
Vivi will move when she’s ready
I really enjoy your day in the life videos. A little celebration when you hit 20k subscribers?❤
Thank you lovely. 😊
Take care Vivi! You are awesome..😊🥰
Cheers lovely. 😊
Hallelujah! At last your perseverance has paid off and the lease is off the to do list!! I’m so glad for you! Why is anyone hassling you to hurry up and move? It will all come together when the time is right.
Cheers lovely, yes! 😊
So pleased your lease has finally come through Vivi 🥳
Even more to get on with now but you have a plan and a list and a reason why…. you can do this!!
Fingers crossed for the bus pass too… it would make such a difference 😊
Oh my goodness, yes, the bus pass would be a game changer!
VIvi have you priced a chair lift for the stairs, so you wouldn't have to move? You sit in it, and hit the button and it goes up the stairs.
Not possible here.
I'm intrigued........hopping over to see my boyfriend Mr Google to ask him all about your shark mural........ 😉
I just checked it out.......how cool! I love it. 😊
You're still grieving, and moving from your home is a grief, too. Tears are forgivable!
Thank you lovely. There have been quite a few of the wet things lately.
Ach, it's a tough one isn't it. 😥
OMG the house prices are crazy. Here you can get a two bed cottage with a massive garden to be self sufficient, keep chickens and have outhouses and pay £100,000.
Goodness that's so cheap , where abouts do you live
Wowzers!
@@rickiwinter1587 South wales
Oooh I f I was 20 years younger I would defo think of moving there .South Wales is so beautiful,my grandmothers family were from Wales
Amen!!! You got your lease...what a relief for you!!! How much fun Vivi to walk with you today...do take good care of those knees!!!
Yay for giving yourself a 'doing' month! I hope you manage to get lots of jobs ticked.......and have fun and satisfaction while doing it. 😊
I can't believe how anyone affords to live in your area. Good luck with the flat hunting x
It's crazy how much it has gone up around here in the last 24 years.......when I moved here it was very much a cheap part of London!
I am so excited for you, too, Vivi. Lots happening. I hope the doctor will help you with the application for a bus pass. I hope you have a quiet moment in the wee small hours dreaming and imagining your lovely new home that awaits you, wherever it may be.
Awww, thanks lovely....yes, lots of dreaming going on! 😉
Thank you lovely.......crikey, 60 days to do it all would stress me too! So happy you're on the other side of it now!
Hopefully you will be soon too! I can't wait to see the new place that you find! Manifest it!!!🤩
Such great news about the lease.
Awww, thank you so much lovely....yes, the kitchen door with a garden beyond is my motivating image! 😊
XO, Vivi!!
I really like that idea!!
I love that idea but it would be a bit too time consuming and costly to make.
Big hugs to you Vivi. Take your time, girl, and bat that niggling voice off your shoulder! Very best luck and mojo for finding the perfect New Vivi Cottage :)
Thank you lovely. 😊
❤ You deserve the best of good fortune❤
Thank you so much lovely.
Best wishes Vivi re the future home move preparations
Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much lovely. 😊
If anyone deserves a lucky break, Vivi, it's you 🍀🏡💚
Aww, thanks lovely. 😊
In the road we live in (not me I’m alone in having a front garden not a drive) we always know when a house is going on the market cos they shove a sad looking bay tree by the front door and hang a garden centre hanging basket!!
Hahaha.....their interpretation of 'kerb appeal'?
🐝Slow and steady just slow and steady ! You can do it
It's funny you should mention slow and steady as I'm talking about just that in the next video. 😊
@@WhatVivididnext Just had that feeling 🥰
Could a grant be obtained for a narrow stair lift? Sorry if that is a daft suggestion. You've invested so much into your lovely home. Although I expect anywhere with you living in it would be lovely 🥰
I believe she has commented on this prior. Her stairs are for other residents as well so it would not work for them. I guess it would block their right of way?
Thank you to Plant Native (I love that name!) for answering this perfectly for me. 😊
Just a thought , you love your flat so much why leave you could get a stair lift ? There's always a way and much cheaper than moving . Take care good luck.
Not possible, sadly.
@dianebarwick8965 I came here to say exactly that! A stair lift would have to certainly cost a lot less than a move and a new place.
I'm certainly looking forward to being on the other side of it all! 😊
The house move will happen, a few months here or there makes no difference. I believe in fate and that you will end up where you are meant to be for the next phase of your life - so stay chilled about it.
Hear, hear. Thank you lovely. 😊
