Freshmen registration is a LONG process that won't really end until the semester starts. Hopefully this video helps you with it in some way. Also, ConnectCarolina is a very bad website so you gotta know how to deal with it haha.

The detail and knowledge in this video is next level. The hero UNC never deserved.
😂😂thank you bro
As an incoming freshman that learned this on zoom, THANK YOU. This was far more helpful than the two-day zoom call we had. Again, thank you!!
That was the goal, happy to hear it!
so ofcourse the day I finished this vid unc decided to shut down connectcarolina for a week🙃anyways it should be back up and working now for most freshmen (with updated modes of instruction and times). keep in mind that there is still definitely a possibility of all classes becoming online only so make sure you consider that.
this was a really long vid so just drop any questions you have about this whole process and I'll try my best to help!
also I realize I basically exposed all my grades in here lol oops
Thank you so much for the video! Really needed it!
God sent! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much!! This helped a lot
As a transfer student, thank you! ❤️
Keep uploading I love your content
so well made
21 minute banger
🔥 vid
Thank you!!!!!
Hi -- I'm an incoming freshman attending UNC next year. They're changing the gen ed's to the "Ideas in Action" curriculum. Do you know if there's a way I can find an equivalent worksheet for 2022-2023 as someone pre-business?
🔥🔥🔥
This video has been a huge help! If a class is full, should I still put it in my shopping cart/try to enroll, relying on the fact that some seats are reserved for freshmen?
Happy to hear that! Yes, there’s no harm in just keeping it there and occasionally checking, so go for it. Make sure you’re enrolled in some backups though incase it doesn’t open. If it’s a larger class, you have a good chance to get in before the first week of classes finishes imo
I think UNC Chapel hill has banned coursicle from fall 2022.... right?
I was watching your videos 3 minutes before the aug 2 registration…
Update: it took me 6 minutes for my class for FRICKEN SWAP and mind you I was only swapping so I could take this English class and Bc it took so long ALL 7 of my English options closed and now I will be busy crying my eyes out
Connectcarolina was bugging so hard and I am not surprised 😭 hope you’re able to get it in first week of classes, don’t lose hope!!
How do you get coursicle to save your information?
Is it not saved each time you open it? Even if you create an account? Mine has always just been saved when I open it on the same computer
How do you know what gen Ed’s you have to take and which are required? Ik nothing and I’m so lost 😖😣😣😣
So once you get to the Tar Heel tracker which I show at 1:59, each gen Ed will be it’s own header. Under each of them you’ll either see “satisfied, 1 out of 1 credit taken” (something along those lines) and it’ll list the class you got that gen Ed from, or you’ll see “not satisfied”, under are all the ones you don’t have. Lemme know if that helped at all lol
Do I have to drop classes I was preregistered for before enrolling in my preferred classes?
Yes, because your preregistered classes are already counting towards your credit hour total. Thing is, though, that you can only drop them after your registration time hits, so to make sure you get into some of your preferred classes first, it might be better to try to enroll in them, and then drop them, then re-enroll if that makes any sense
Meaning when the time hits we should try to enroll in our preferred class first and then drop the pre-registered class afterwards?
Dylan Georges yes, bc some of your preferred ones could fill up in the time it’ll take u to drop the preregistered ones
How do I change to different recitation session but keep the same lecture class? Thanks.
Go over to the ‘Edit’ tab in in CC and choose the class you want to change it for. It should show you all the sections that are currently open
@@ShivNC Thank you so much!
How should I know what classes to add if my major is undecided?
Start based on all gen eds. Then move into classes in majors that you’re considering/interested in, just to judge if they’re a good fit for you
@@ShivNC Thank you! I have another question: I missed my fall registration period because I was away at camp without access to a phone or computer and now all of the good classes are filled. Do you honestly think there is any hope that I can get a relatively good schedule for my first semester? I don't know what to do and this is really stressful lol... my orientation is on August 11th-12th
@@pilarcovington4932 OUCH that’s painful 😅 tbh if any of the ones you wanted are big classes (75+), then there’s a decent chance you’ll be able to squeeze in during the first week of classes. Other than that, you might just have to take a few crappy gen Ed classes that won’t be very interesting to you but still satisfy some credits. Maybe you can even email some profs about your situation but idk if they have the authority to let you in
Can I watch those classes being a foreigner?? Like, I live in another country
Im not 100% sure, but I dont think the app is region-restricted. have you been able to download it?
@@ShivNC I would like to take a course here: www.coursicle.com/harvard/ but i'm not sure if it's only available for students who study at harvard
I’m still confused 🤡
It be like that 😔
