    Thank you very much for your video! I love a lot about the perspective in your video on the part of the city that doesn't get much exposure to tourists. I also appreciate the urban geography knowledge that you're sharing, makes me see the city not only as a space of fun and entertainment but more so a meaningful living place. Your upload is particularly precious to me when there are the lockdown and limit on the travelling, so thank you greatly. Please also stay safe out there.

    Loved this video with the combination of narration and visuals. You should definitely do more in this style. I also saw Lost in Translation and it was that movie that motivated me to visit Japan for the first time because as you said it really captures the feeling of being in Tokyo. I've visited the Park Hyatt a couple of times and had a Suntory beer in the famous bar. Totally awesome.

    We enjoyed the Tokyo Metro Govt building and the souvenier shop. I can’t remember it being noisy but it was certainly annoying having all the lights reflected in the windows so it was hard to take photos of the beautiful views. There were some great souveniers there including traditional items. Yes it was free to get in but it was like going into an airport as they scanned our bags etc.

    *REDUCED AMBIENT AUDIO LEVEL WHEN NARRATING*
    When in noise environments like a busy street like Juniso-dori, the ambient audio level really ought to be turned down when narration is made. At the conclusion of the commentary, raise the ambient audio to normal levels. This is not required when you are in a quiet location like Central Park. It really was a struggle to hear your narration with the traffic around you.
    *PAUSE AT MAPS*
    Some of your fans really do appreciate the still close up shots of the maps, as this level of detail just can never be gleaned from Google Maps. The information is very helpful for forward planning of a Tokyo holiday. In fact, these same fans make 4K screenshots of these maps... which are then printed with Fujifilm photo machines at the photo shop! Is it any wonder the Japanese economy is the world's third largest?
    *Thank you, Mr Tokyo Explorer for making this narrated video, as this is one Tokyo's most important and significant districts.*

    I guess like the USA Japan suffers from vandalism and graffiti as well. So is Lawsons a chain of Convenience Stores??? On 12:51 what is that hill thing for??? What's with the green fencing around the playground??? Was this taken during COVID-19??? I see a lot of people wearing masks???

    • @TokyoExplorer
      @TokyoExplorer  4 роки тому +2

      There's hardly any graffiti or vandalism in Japan. People have manners here. And yes, Lawson is a convenience store chain. People thankfully wear masks here out of consideration to each other.

      @@TokyoExplorer If people in the states are like those from Japan and wear masks the virus would be slowed. Do you know of a show CNN had called Anthony Bourdain Part's Unknown??? Anthony really loved those Egg Salad Sandwiches they sell at Lawsons. There was graffiti on that wall you walked past in the beginning part of the video.

    Japan can not be a great nation, it needs to pay back huge ww2 reparations for 100 years, and can not have fully functional army and its government in large political moves must ask USA if its OK to do so, so yes it is sad that if the war is over then everyone is happy and celebrates new era of peace, but others become silent slaves for next 5 generations.....after all that freedom and democracy and happiness ,carry a terrible price.Some people in Japan that play the game nice, as You can see are rich, the others is a bit different story, to make it people need to work 12-16 hours, and country in all have negative growth for decades and even after golden years of 80-90's the financial out put is negative, I hope after the 100 years is over the Japan will shoot up and be the cheery on the top, after all it is the best country to live in.TH
