I just put the Wasabi on my Shift 315g, strung at 53/55 - so far, love it. Surprisingly grippy, and with the already spin friendly Shift, it’s a great combo for me. We’ll see how long it lasts before it breaks.
Ive played both, im a fan of the wasabi more. Wasabi has been my stringin my mains since it came out. Zero is a little stiffer and the recycled plastic is a great idea. I think if you like hyper g you will like resteing zero
Restring has almost Zero SnapBack. String-to-Sting friction is very high and it feels dead. Not much pocketing, not much spin either. Just-style in my humble opinion. The Volkl V-Square on the other hand is a spin monster and is extremely slippery sting, great “snap-back” and the spin potential is on par with RPM rough - if not more. The downside of the Volkl strings is that, it lasts about 2 sessions then it’s kind of done. All imo
My question exactly ... I just got a Percept 100D for my birthday and I'm 1BH .. time for restringing ... What can you tell me?? Have you found a decent setup?
How much tension loss is in wasabi? I use head MLT for cross and wasabi maines, currently, i am doing 56 wasabi mains, and 52 head MLT crosses. i figure it evens out, but should i do 57 wasabi mains?
Hey, Harry - I have a racquet for candidate of WORST RACQUET EVER! I'd like to send it to you but I called the Tennis Nation store and they said you no longer work there. Do you have an address that I can ship it to?
I like it more. Not as stiff. A little less spin. Bit more controllable pop on your shot. Damn near the same snap back. They offer tester sets for like $6 and have some preset hybrid setups that are actually good.
@@miguelroda8779 I feel I get a bit more power with Wasabi. Not on every shot, but moreso on the shots that I WANT to punch through. For me, I think it's mainly because the stiffness of Restring would stop me from swinging fully; cause it got somewhat harmful to my arm.
I get suspicious when reviewers say "it was good" with an up-tone, because you know there's some doubtful or qualifying comment coming afterwards. If it was really good, it would simply be "it was good" with a resolute and confident down-tone
I use the pink Wasabi with my Percept 97, and my racket setup looks like an under-ripe Watermelon 🍉
Lol. I bet I could do the same with my vcore pro 97 haha

The dark gray version feels the best IMO. Crisp like Tour Bite
Awesome string!!
@tennisspin Wasabi or Restring? Which one you liked more?
both are OEM taiwan factory strings, decent in every aspect, just alot of hype lately thanks to youtubers

@@highflying19 hyperg is dirt cheap where I am, restring/toroline is like 50% more, worth it?

Can you compare it to Confidential? Thanks
Thanks for the video! Could we get a review of the Wasabi X?
Comparable to lynx tour at all? Been looking for candidates to switch to. I prioritize control.
which tension would you recommend this for the Yonex Percept 100D? I'm an intermediate player and play a one handed backhand.

Try the Caviar ❤
So how did Toroline Wasabi compare to Restring Zero?

@@MuzzballsI had same feeling. Wasabi is less powerful and less stiff. For me I liked it more than the restring.
