@@GamingCornerYT It hasn't been in development since 2012. It was announced in 2012 and full production started after witcher 3 blood and wine wrapped up. This doesn't change the fact that they should have abandoned the base consoles because otherwise the game runs fine.
@@GamingCornerYT You don't really understand how these machines handle the system load of graphics and AI. Cyberpunk can be a buggy mess and the AI isn't the best but there are way more variables at play. Item management and interaction alone makes these kinds of games run waaaay differently than your standard open world game. For example Skyrim has tons of items you can pick up and put into your inventory. That is a lot of information for the game system to handle. It's more CPU driven. These games are usually buggier and less consistent but you play them still because you want a point driven RPG system and not just a light weight ability system.
You are asking that a development company set an example to publishers? It doesn't work that way unfortunately, the publisher is the one in charge, in this case Sony let Insomniac do what they felt was right.

I believe it could do 1080p60fps. But people would lose their minds about 1080p as being considered a subpar resolution nowadays. Since Capcom doesn't give a f*ck, they're offering 1080p60 with Ray Tracing for DMC 5

@@muhamadsarhad6566 it’s more of “I’d rather wait than spend £400 quid on a white box with spiderman”
@@muhamadsarhad6566 What about those that have plenty cash but can't find one because the pre order situation was handled so poorly?
This was really nicely done ign guy👍
This was a great vid. Please have more of this guy.
Me: Hey UA-cam I want to watch digital foundry.
UA-cam: but you already have one.
Me: Wait what?
Digital Foundry at Home:
I think for Spider-Man, performance mode is the way to go. The fact that your hitting close to 4K in resolution and have a consistent 60fps is awesome.
2 more days and I get to play it on my ps4 pro!! Gonna platinum this game
Black friday
I got 1 more day
Imma play this on the ps5 on Christmas if it’s available I just wanna use the game to its full ability

you could possibly get one earlier this is from Walmart
1 more day for me! Wooo
Great video! Super helpful and a major step up from the old videos of comparisons
Great job mate this was really well put together.
These devs definitely did a great job with development across all” consoles which is fantastic to see!
Cyberpunk however ......
These 2 games cant be compared... one is 8 hours long and one is planned to be beyond 200
@@judemurray7779 what I’m saying is cyberpunk has been in development since 2012 and released absolutely terrible with the devs acknowledging little support to Xbox one and PS4, to the point there is refunds and Sony have removed it from the ps store,
It’s nothing to do with a game being 1 or 100 hours should be released to the correct quality,
The devs for Spider-Man have optimised the game perfectly for Xbox one and PS4 whilst also ticking the next gen boxes
I really wish that they would make a symbiote game with venom and riot, carnage, Toxin
Insomniac. Thank you for caring about the work you do. You should give a class to other developers (EA, Ubisoft, 2K) about caring.
You are asking that a development company set an example to publishers? It doesn't work that way unfortunately, the publisher is the one in charge, in this case Sony let Insomniac do what they felt was right.
@@blacknemesy do you always take things so literally? I know exactly how it works! My comment is wishful thinking. It’s what a lot of gamers think. You’ve never heard gamers say things such as “I wish all developers were like CDPR!” and stuff like that? Im sure you have!
Love these kind of analysis, hope you guys do more of these.
Nice work Destin, this is a great analysis. Looking at the comparison shot of Miles between all the platforms and modes is so impressive, the way his fur coat looks on the PS4 version compared to the PS5 Fidelity mode is crazy. Insomniac are the GOAT for still allowing us PS4 players still be able to experience this amazingness, I doubt I'll be able to get a PS5 for some time.
Who else has to try avoid spoilers the best they can until December 25.
You just can’t beat the tactile responsiveness of performance mode. Ray tracing is cool and I might use it now and then, but frame rate is so much more crucial in combat.
Damn, you're the only ign reviewer I don't hate. You definitely did a lot of hardwork on this!
Dustin ive come all the way here to demand more of these!
8:51 Y'all switched the labels, Fidelity and Performance are both on the wrong side. Just letting you know, besides that, great review, great job talking to devs to get that extra insight
Fidelity mode all the way! I have no problem with a locked 30fps.
I mean you wouldnt say the same if you could have both at the same time Lmao
Swinging threw the open world is gonna have to be performance mode. Everything else fidelity mode...
the performance RT mode felt absolutely amazing to me
This IGN video is solid quality
Keep up this format, it is great!
Another great job on the tech analysis
1440p + RTX on 60fps should be perfect
The PS5 don't do 1440p, so not gonna happen
@@tkatot the PS5 does 1440p, it just doesn't output 1440p
The PS5 can't handle 1440p + raytracing (don't call it RTX, it's not RTX) at 60fps. At least not in this game.
I believe it could do 1080p60fps. But people would lose their minds about 1080p as being considered a subpar resolution nowadays. Since Capcom doesn't give a f*ck, they're offering 1080p60 with Ray Tracing for DMC 5
1440p is not supported on ps5
I can't wait for playing the game.
Still hoping we can get peter’s old face back...
He looks way too young imo but its whatever
Yeah, I'ma appreciate the game regardless and I hate to whinge but damn it would've felt so much more special having Peter mentor Miles if Peter was recognizable and actually looked older than Miles
This guy does great analyses
Another quality job keep at it man.
You the man... I guess I’ll stick to PS4 as 5 is hard to grab... but I’m a S.M fan regardless of graphics. But great analysis 💯
“This isn’t the game where you need the frame rate to enjoy it”
I think web swinging smoothly does make the game more enjoyable than fancy graphics to be fair.
Yeah, and the acrobatic combat at 60fps is just so much more pleasant.
I prefer swinging at 30 because 60 is so smooth it makes me wanna sleep LOL
Can it be called gaming in 2020 if it is at 30 fps on a 3D detailed game? I would like to see how this game would do on a balanced PC because this level of detail is old news on PC
IMO Tom Holland Spider-Man in this game is never going to look natural to me.
More of this reviewer please!
I get that feeling I used to get when playing those ps1 Spiderman games, sooo cool
From a nerd, this is a fantastic analysis. Keep it up!
the ray tracing in this game is phenomenal
You know what would be amazing if we get fidelity mode at 60 fps
They probably will in a future update. i think it was rushed out at 30fps initially because it’s the PS5’s main launch title
Great review ...More reviews from this guy pls..
Awesome work, bro! Great video!
The pro look too damn close ... and will be near 4k
Ps5 can wait a year or two by the look of things
Well don't worry maybe the PS5 pro will be better lol
@@skywalkerjediknight2024 There will be no Pro. Only the disc one and the digital and done.
