Thank you for this, Yankee! I understand why pastors are railing against wickedness in this age. It truly is wicked out there, BUT.... where is the love of our Father in some of these messages? Where is the encouragement? THIS IS THE G O O D N E W S! It wouldn't be good news if we could lose it. We have an entire generation of Christians who think they've stopped sinning somehow. Hi Brother, Any comments on my following response to a fellow preacher. "Hopefully some people followed along with you and truly asked Christ into their hearts during your call to repentance and invoked the name of Jesus as you said and are now born again. Is there anything else they must do to remain born again. Can they become un-born again by some action on their part like those that have strayed and are living in the world as you say. How many times a day must they repent? What kind of works are necessary for them to remain saved. Or is it once saved always saved. Did Jesus really mean it when he said "it is finished" when he hung on that cross or was he just playing around and deceiving us. When we are given the promise of "eternal life" the moment we are saved does it some how remove Jesus from the whole process of salvation at that point and depend on us to earn and add to the finishing of our salvation through many good works, repenting all day long every day and weekends, never sinning again, and if you do sin then you better repent the second your done sinning unless you get run over by a car immediately and didn't have time to repent. This may sound like a joke but hear me out. The reason I ask all this is because I get a 50/50 split amongst all preachers. Some preach that we need to add to what Jesus supposedly finished on the cross by what we in OUR own strengths and righteousness can achieve through obedience, works, constant repentance and such and others preach that Jesus did it all, once for all time and that it is up to him to finish his good work in us. The bible says that our righteousness is but filthy rags and we can never do enough, to earn by our own strengths, the salvation that was paid for on the cross. It is a gift of grace from God through our faith alone in the finished work of Christ's spilled blood on the cross that saves and that alone. Nothing and I mean NO THING or action on our part, besides the initial acceptance and transformation from eternal death to being born again into eternal life can ever change the fact that you are saved forever. Yes it is good to always live in a spirit of repentance every day but even that good work of righteousness is in the eyes of God not good enough alone to save. The price for eternal life is VERY costly, more that we could have ever afforded, more that all the money in the universe if it were packed tight with one hundred dollar bills. It was so costly that it literally cost the Father his most precious possession in the person of His son. God almighty gave everything that mattered to Him in payment for our sins. Only Christ crucified and that's it is what saves. Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated. Maranatha!"

It is once saved always saved! Yankee has so many excellent sermons, and just like the one above makes the Gospel so clear. Keep listening and I am sure you will come to know the truth for yourself. The book of John is sometimes called God's little salvation tract. Nowhere in it does it say to repent. Repent means to change your mind/ way of salvation (mans' way)to God's way, By faith alone in Christ alone. Read John 3:16,17. Also Righteousness is "imputed" to us when we believe that Jesus is our Savior. The 10 commandments were to bring us to Christ so we would recognize our need for a Savior. There is no room left for doubt when she explains it. ℹℹℹ God imputed His righteousness to us when we believed, so it's never ours that He looks at. Our faith was counted as righteousness. Once you are saved, you stay saved. The rest is growth in the Lord's as He perfects you if we let Him, He can He can make something wonderful out of us. If we don't, were still saved but remain as babes in Christ 🥺

I have a friend who is gay and told me that he wants to believe the Gospel of salvation and be save by Grace through Faith but he can not STOP been gay and living a gay way of life with his lover.I am going to send him to Pastor Ralph Yankee's church and tell him that there he can be save by just believing in Jesus Christ and if he chooses to continue his gay way of life until he die he could STILL remain save. I go to a church that believes it is faith that saves you, but then they follow the teachings of people like John MacArthur and how he twists the gospel message. I understand Christians can know that they have eternal life, but my case is different. I turned from God in my teenage years. I committed apostasy. And by the looks of it, it seems to be unforgivable. Hebrews 6:4-6 makes that pretty clear. So do all the verses that talk about obtaining eternal life and adding that "if" making it conditional. Like the ones that tell us to hold fast our first profession of faith, and in Colossians 1:23, it says if we continue in the faith, grounded, unmoved, etc. So I still can't know if I'm going to heaven or not. I understand sinning can't make us lose our salvation. But apostasy is mentioned in the Bible as a pretty serious sin, seems unforgivable, and it seems as though we only have one profession of faith, and the moment we reject that, we're screwed for eternity. Eh, but I love Jesus Christ anyway. I love His word. I love attending church and following Christ. But I'm almost certain I sealed my eternal destiny the moment I rejected Christ as a teenager. That's my own stupid fault, no one else's.
2 Timothy 18Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and *overthrow the faith of some* 19Nevertheless the foundation of God *standeth sure*, having this *seal*, The Lord *knoweth them that are his.* These peoples faith was completely overthrown which means they had faith but no longer have faith at all! But they did not lose their salvation nor prove they were never saved because they were sealed by the Holy Spirit as soon as they believed! They had faith but no longer do but God knows them that are His having the seal of the Holy Spirit!

I trusted Christ, then "left" Christianity out of frustration because I couldn't life the "lifestyle" that I thought I had to live, and went pagan, then agnostic for 20 years. Then God chastened me to the point where I am now. At what point did God take my salvation then give it back to me? He didn't I was always saved, from the very moment of belief.

I go to a church that believes it is faith that saves you, but then they follow the teachings of people like John MacArthur and how he twists the gospel message. If we had to live by his standards to be saved, then nobody would get to Heaven! Thank you for explaining it so simply and showing that God had to make it simple so a child could understand and be saved. The devil likes to keep everyone who is saved, to live in doubt most of their lives. I have been saved for 32 years now and always lived in doubt from time to time. That doubt stops now!

This radically happens. It's not a matter of mind manipulation and positive confession. It genuinely happens, if a person comes to Jesus genuinely and wholeheartedly. With a fear and reverence of God..fear of God is the beginning of wisdom for a sinner.

I understand Christians can know that they have eternal life, but my case is different. I turned from God in my teenage years. I committed apostasy. And by the looks of it, it seems to be unforgivable. Hebrews 6:4-6 makes that pretty clear. So do all the verses that talk about obtaining eternal life and adding that "if" making it conditional. Like the ones that tell us to hold fast our first profession of faith, and in Colossians 1:23, it says if we continue in the faith, grounded, unmoved, etc.
So I still can't know if I'm going to heaven or not. I understand sinning can't make us lose our salvation. But apostasy is mentioned in the Bible as a pretty serious sin, seems unforgivable, and it seems as though we only have one profession of faith, and the moment we reject that, we're screwed for eternity.
Eh, but I love Jesus Christ anyway. I love His word. I love attending church and following Christ. But I'm almost certain I sealed my eternal destiny the moment I rejected Christ as a teenager. That's my own stupid fault, no one else's.

These peoples faith was completely overthrown which means they had faith but no longer have faith at all! But they did not lose their salvation nor prove they were never saved because they were sealed by the Holy Spirit as soon as they believed! They had faith but no longer do but God knows them that are His having the seal of the Holy Spirit!

I trusted Christ, then "left" Christianity out of frustration because I couldn't life the "lifestyle" that I thought I had to live, and went pagan, then agnostic for 20 years. Then God chastened me to the point where I am now. At what point did God take my salvation then give it back to me?
He didn't I was always saved, from the very moment of belief.
