I had the blessing of meeting Robert Temple at a weekend event in CA, back around 2005... the West Coast Kenpo Confederation, hosted by Grand Masters Chuck Sullivan and Vic LeRoux who founded the IKCA system of Chinese Kenpo!
    A great guy!

the drumming (loved it as part of the warm ups and drills in Kenpo), reminds me of old footage of Guru Inosanto (Bruce Lee's protege) video footage.

This is refreshing to see two humble teachers looking back on their different paths . Your life passes quickly , and the years pass by ,and if you stay training your whole life , this is what it does to you . Makes you a better person, a better human being, and a better instructor . I started in Kickboxing and Shotokan Karate in my 20’s, my work moved me to different cities all through out my career in business so I would always look for the best schools in the cities I moved to. Moved on to Shorin Ryu Karate and Judo in my 30’s , MMA , BJJ , Kali , and JKD in my 40’s and 50’s . I now teach Combative’s ,JKD , and Kali to my community and students . Faith has entered my life and I feel content with my path in Jesus. Thank you for this series , you are a good man , and it is great to see all these excellent martial artists you have chosen. Great job with this series .

I had the pleasure and honor of studying this type of Kenpo with Master Temple in the early 90s. I also got to meet his Sensei, Master Cliff Stewart.
    Lots of great memories.

I almost got to film an episode with Sijo Muhammed. Sadly, at the last minute, it didn’t happen. Still, much respect to Sijo always.

That would be so cool!! Sijo Muhammad would come to my boys and girls club as kid for Karate class! and all of us looked at him like a real life super hero! and he was to us. the only man of law I knew that all gangsters respected and loved to see. it was wild to see as a kid.
