It isn't necessarily picky eaters. I am a firm believer that foods you don't like the taste of are foods that you are allergic to. We have taste buds for a reason. Listen to them and live another season.

@@ihatemirrors1216 my Thai daughter-in-law works in a restaurant in Phuket for THB 10,500/monthly (USD$300). She gets the same in tips. My stepson earns about THB 24,000/monthly(USD$700) as a crane operator. Yes, compared to the West their earnings are not flash, but they’re doing okay.

The first menu is now Kao Tom its called Kao Chae which taste way different , Kao Tom is one dish food and eat while it hot which is different from Kao Chae thats serve cold and eat with side sweet savoury dish
Thailand is one of the main countries for incredible street food. As a resident here it's definitely affordable and tastes pretty good.

They probably used this specialized ice shaving machine from korea that actually design to make bingsu thats why the ice is so fine.
