As a Dutchman, I can be (appropriately) proud of our VOC mentality. The golden age brought much to our trading people. The downside is that this still lives on in our dna. Here you have to visit at least 20 2nd hand stores to find anything of silver. It is all taken out in advance and placed behind display cases and sold at absurd prices. Sometimes you are lucky, provided it is run by very elderly women with no knowledge of business. If you find something, the old boss is called in with a small magnifying glass and you can forget about it. With jewelry, you can still get lucky. My good eyes can reasonably see marks under magnifying glass that the old guard with magnifying glasses can't even find yet.
Wow you would love Canada, here not many people look for it. I would try to find charitable thrift stores where the people working are older. I find some stores are good and some are not. Once I find a good store, I always go back to it

Thanks for watching. I will make a video one day on my personal collection. Maybe a UA-cam short. The best watches I have ever found were a 1962 mens automatic omega and a 18k solid gold ladies watch
The last one is most likely worth the most , but my favourite is the first one with the face, I wonder if those holes on it held a cap and chain or something
Yes the last one is worth the most. But I agree the one with the face is cool. I think the holes are there to let smoke out, so when your smoking, smoke will come out of his nose/mouth
