it's fair if you need to relate to a song to like it, but that's very subjective obviously. I don't really give a crap if I relate to a song. I'm not interested in ever having a boyfriend, but the world is PLAGUED with straight love songs, and some of them I just really like how they sound. Then again, subjective. Her style of singing matched the song perfectly for me. I think it sounds dope, she doesn't always have to sing the same way, you know? From what I'VE heard, most people like the song because 1) It sounds great, nice beat, hella catchy and 2) here's a BIG female celebrity putting out a song about liking a girl. That is HUGE and feels like a win for a lot of people. IDK what the stuff about "her body or face" has to do with anything, who's talking about that??
