Love Pepper to death...seen them so many times open for Iration, Reb, Sublime..they get the crowd going especially when you're buzzed..but I have to agree with you hahahaha
Super super entertaining I love pepper!! The one thing is I wish the lead singer actually sounded like he does on the album. He tried a little too hard to put some twang on some of the songs and it wasn't my cup of tea because ge has such a good voice on the actual album.
it isn't realistic for live band to sound as good as they do on the albums where they do maybe like 100 takes and pick the best one and the also mix it perfectly... just enjoy both and the fun of live shows

damn this guitar and bass so loww... can't hear it. maybe it's this single coil. never really liked it sound when it needs to fill. Ashes is the only song it has a nice live version, with fills and aditions. they should do more on other songs... I know if they have to play that many songs they can't do a longer version with aditiions and fills, but they should put a few less songs and made this it's well more entertaining. I just saw the Tribal Seeds vid and damn... you can actually hear them instruments... but these vids is like silent. barely can hear it

I saw them 4 times, and the first two times was before they got bigger, they were still very unknown and small time and they were so amazing live, but they were also playing in small venues. Then the last two times I saw them in a middle sized venue and they were horrible, butchered all of their songs but I guess they get tired of playing it the same way so they try to get creative, Idk. But the first one a saw was a private show during sxsw and it was the best live performance I had ever seen. Don't think they are going to get any better or back to they way they once sounded. And their new music is weird, like they sold out and they always screamed at shows they would never sell out. Ha

Saw them ten years ago and dude it was fucking amazing. They are hilarious on stage . yeah technically they just fuck around and have fun and not take shit to serious. That is what makes em great
in the 70s it took talent to make in popular music. with each decade, less and less. this stuff here is just like any kid in the crowd can do after about 2 weeks of lessons. they cant sing, theres nothing interesting in the music, nobody in the band is really any better than subpar at their instrument......long way from people like elton john or billy joel or boston. and i saw this band once or twice and used to think they were cool. gawd, now that im older....they're just crap. but so is most everything nowadays,
I am sorry to say but the band didn't perform that well and completely butchered the song "No Control", I guess they lost control of their instruments during the song, good studio band but doesn't hold up live
