Jenny, so detailed, best one, which I had seen this video when I celebrated my 70th birthday. I think I could I your help now.only thing too much fabric.
Very attractive model and great job. How many yards are the typical gele ? Each time I order, they’re always too short! I need at least three (3) yards of fabric. Any idea where I can purchase the nice Afrocentric fabric in three yard lengths?
Hi babe, the fabric comes like that naturally, it's not too hard and not too soft either. If the fabric is too soft, your pleats would fall off. I hope I answered your question?
Ur model is beautiful. Who did her makeup? I always enjoy seeing the gele being tied it is hard work time consuming how long actually does it take if u not teaching.
Valerie Benjamin hey boo! I did her makeup hun (I’m a makeup artist) Tying gele can be stressful I knowww lol but once you get used to it, it can take about 5-10mins depending on how fast you are!
so sorry we didn't show that bit, we just knotted it twice basically. so you hold both ends of the already finished pleats and tie together like you would usually tie your scarf or something like that.
Ur model was Beautiful who did her make up. I was enjoy seeing the Gele being tied but it I'd hard work and time consuming how long does it actually take if u not teaching?

Ask them to give you bridal gele. Usually it would have 4 layers
Hi Jenny, well done!, One question, when you have the fabric completely open, how wide and long should it be?
