I will try the first two cocktails this weekend. Really nice to get some use for that Averna that has been sitting on a shelf collecting dust for too long now.
I make a variation on a Last Word with reposado tequila that is definitely also worth a try. Been using La Gritona, Green Chartreuse, lime juice and Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal. All equal parts and amazing!
@@Lui_Fern Lui, I took your advice and bought a bottle of Cimarron reposado and made a Rosalita with it. I liked it as much as the version with the blanco. I can taste and appreciate the difference, but I love them both.
Hey man love your videos El Tesoro is awesome. Would like to see a review on Lokita blanco small batch and not sure if you have done one but organic dulce vida repasado
Hey brother hello from Philadelphia,, Just grabbed Volans- reposado / blanco Lola , and Mijenta blanco… Loved the winter blend 2022 Was wondering if you know anything about volcan and otaca tequila.. stay doing what you do would love to meet you at your bar .. your friend the Philly firefighter
Hey here Mitch, that sounds like a great haul! I havent tried either of those brands yet. A lot of people have asked about Volcano but haven't seen it quite yet. But will make content on them if i ever get a bottle of either Would love to meet you as well one day!
As planned, last night I made the Rosalita, which kept seeming familiar to me as I looked at the recipe and then I realized it is the Monterita, with the exact same ingredients but in different ratios. The Monterita (Difford's version) is 1.5 each of Reposado and Montenegro, 1/3 Lime Juice, and 1/12 Agave. So I made both the Rosalita and the Monterita (I used Fortaleza). The latter obviously has much more Montenegro presence (which I liked) and the former obviously has less and is more sweet. I must say that side by side I preferred the Monterita, but I think someone 😉needs to adjust both and experiment and I believe the even better drink lies somewhere in between.
If only...I could still get either the yellow or green Chartreuse. And a quick google search lists 3 online sources (which I'm not even sure I can order online from...) at $109, $139, $149. Ouch. I used to be able to get both for $70 for 750ml bottle.
I hate myself for recommending this but shit dude. You gotta try the LunaAzul double barrel. Pretty sure It had some glycerin because when it's cold it really pulls in but WONDERFUL at room temp. Honestly one of my favorites I have tried after an entire year of mezcal binging.
Amaros, chartreuse, and eggs…found a new favorite mixologist! Great videos. Looking forward to trying these. Thanks!
They’re all delicious. Need to get more reposados! Thanks for the content Luis!
Thanks friend! Happy you enjoyed this one 😁
I will be trying the first two very soon! Thanks for the Amari ideas! Cheers!
You're very welcome!

It pairs so beautifully with the Montenegro. Mexico meets Italy, I love it.
Great video I love reposado. How about 3 cognac cocktail? Just curious what your go to cognac is
That's a great idea! Thank you 😁

Lui, could we sub the egg with Advocaat? If so what quantity would you recommend?

Maple syrup substituted by agave syrup could work?
So they have very different flavors. I don't think the cocktail would be bad with that substitution but it would be different
Will try the "Death Flip" for breakfast 🤣
Hahahaha let me know what you think!
@@Lui_Fern if I can find Yellow Chartreuse anywhere 😒
Amaro nonino instead of Montenegro?

Cimarron blanco is 35 dollars at Total wine, red out prices
I don't want any of these drinks lol
So don't drink them
