This is a video of me showing you how I bought all items from the dollar tree and painted them so that they would have a polish and elegant white look. This project is so simple to do and won't cost you much money. These trays in the store can be like 5 dollars or more a piece so if you bougie on a budget like me then you will make anything happen. ❤️

Hello my lovelies. Thanks to everyone for all of your comments! Some people have concerns about the spray paint. I was very safe using the spray paint and did not place the food directly on the dry plate like I explained in the video. You may use it at your own discretion and what is comfortable for you. I also showed the different ways like simply painting the bottom of the clear trays which will still show the color effect. This was just an idea guys of a nice brunch setup. Please be safe. Ceramic non-toxic paint is the best option, but I love your creativity.
Did they smell like paint before I spray? I was gonna just spray on outside only?
You should never spray paint any type of container for food. You’re putting your health at risk. Especially with hot food like the heat/sweat from the pancakes.

I am a nurse. You are spray painting toxic chemicals like lead which causes brain damage and formaldehyde etc on dishes you will use serving utensils on that scratch as well as placing food on them you will be eating! That’s like spray painting your food. Sounds delicious. Never ever eat off spray painted dishes! Very bad for you!! Read the directions on your spray paint. It says DO NOT INGEST!!! Omg!!!!
She really responded to every comment except for this one , the one that is important. In the video she’s also influencing that you can spray paint them for any type of party.
That’s because I pinned a comment that I wrote for anyone that had any concerns with the paint. If you watch the whole video you will also see that I gave other options to painting the trays, trails and error etc and let them know that I wash the trays when they were dry and I also did not place the food directly on the trays that I painted but instead I used a food liner. This was just an idea that you can take whatever part you want from it. I did not disagree with this comment. Thank you for your observation. ❤️

Since the trays are clear you can paint the outside (it will have the same effect) as you never want your food to touch the spray paint
And it comes out exactly the same with a nice sheen too 🌸🌸🌸
Hey Love, I love the video!!! Next time cover the spray painted trays with clear wrap so your food is not touching the paint. You won’t be able to see the clear the wrap ❤️
Hey love!! That is a great idea. I will definitely try that out next time. I did mention to line the tray with wax paper or something before placing food done but this idea works great as well.
If you have a Roses nearby go there to get white serving dishes. They’re cheap and non toxic!
Hey guys watch the whole video so you can see my mistakes and the different ways I tried these out.... also the food was cooked by me. It is very easy to put together breakfast food even if you don’t know how to cook 🥴. There are a lot of premade items out there so you can still put on a good impression 😜.

Beautiful idea. BUT do not put food on the charger without a protective liner. Even if you didn't spray paint them the label on the back says No to put food in them.

Thank you! And yes I did those too and it came out great. Just don't use the clear trays with the Iines on them because it come out blotchy. Use the plain trays

Yes ma’am I did wash them and use them a couple of times. The chargers are pretty thick and well made. I say go for it! Sorry for the delay response 😩

No I jwould not put the food directly on the plate at all. I used parchment or wax paper.
You had a very great idea it turned out great however please do your research on spray painting your dishes you could have put you and family at risk but it was very pretty love your videos keep them coming

I like the all white look. But the safe and less work alternative, is to go to ikea or bed bath and beyond. (I don’t really trust items from places like Ross, for food).
I doubt the all this work was worth it IF the items didn’t wash well or if the plastic (or paint) starts to crack.
I now only buy things if I’m going to be reusing them. I got a white glass serving/baking set (3 ovalish pieces) from bed bath and beyond for $20. And matching round ones at ikea. From the oftast collection. Most are $0.79 each.
For glassware, get a 12 pack from bed bath and beyond for only $10!!! They are almost the same price as the plastic one time use ones from DT but these are glass and reusable! The brand is SALT.
I can tell alot of people dont do research, i did this idea similar when i did my 30th a few years ago . After it dried for a day or 2 i cleaned it real well and place parchment paper. No problem no one died. Do more research people

Lol I’m in the county in south Florida. Yea Sometimes my dollar tree acts up as well and I have to drive out to other stores to find items.
Btw... There is a spray paint primer which might work better on gold & other colors first. 🤔

You keep calling the rectangular serving pieces "chargers" hahaha. They are just simple little serving trays, chargers are pieces that you place
under a dinner plate when setting a table. They are often used instead of a placemat but often for an additional layer of your tablescape decor. At least you tried, and your table looked nice.
😆😆😆 I only call them that because that’s what’s the Dollar Store calls them. They are called Rectangular Chargers if you purchase them on the website. They are really thick plates so I guess that’s why they call it that. But you are right as well. And thank you 🤗
Nice video, however food On painted serving ware is wrong!! Unsanitary!! At least you could have cover with clear wrap...I now will be much more cautious whom I eat from. Thanks!!!

If y’all would google it you would know. Spray painted plates are safe to eat off of. Acrylic paint is not sage.

Its safe I googled it. I’m sure she washed the plates before placing food on them. Spray paint isn’t toxic to eat off. Its acrylic paint and wall paint that are toxic.
No offense intended, but you are falling for the propaganda that Blacks shop at the dollar store thinking of a bargain. Pots & pans, Varnish (White or Gold) is toxic.
