I've been watching clips from three or four of these Chinese dramas, and one place always seems to get mentioned, the Cold Palace. Is that a good place or kind of a place of exile?
It is a place of exile but from what I’ve learned it’s also a prison for wives of the emperor that committed crimes I’m not sure if it was real but in dramas like this only the worst of the worst get sent there granted it’s by the definition of the emperor so u really have to take their crimes sometimes as a grain of salt as we saw with Ruyi but it’s also a place where no one cares if anyone dies or gets sick I think it where Ruyi got her illness from later in the series as it’s the only place such an illness could have come from
It's a place for those that have been it's like a jail but not a jail it's a place for the Forgotten or those that they want to forget it's a very sad place some of them don't never walk out of there unless they carried out she walked out of it
